I first heard Lucy playing a classical piece which was astonishing. Here we hear she is not a one trick pony playing Hoagy Carmichael. I am a musician as well musicians who connect are those who play directly from the heart. That resonates with listeners. This sweet little lady channels her heart and who she is through her playing. Maybe this is because of the other restrictions she has in expressing herself. She is absolutely pouring herself into the muse. Bless her heart.
Seeing Lucy play, who can still NOT believe in miracles? What a beautiful synchronicity that the perfect teacher for her was right there when she needed and was ready for him. As a teacher I learned so much watching Daniel just be in the presence of Lucy and her talent and assisting as they both unfold. I am in awe.❤
My knowledge of music is zilch, so I have no clue how to express it . But there is a bit at the end which is I suppose you could say free form .. she does it so well .. really enjoyed listening to it . The whole thing is fantastic.
Lucy is such a beautiful, beautiful young lady, so talented, bringing joy to millions of people. Challenged, but so gifted and Daniel is the perfect teacher for Lucy.

Amazing. She connects with music. She looks almost likes part of the piano. And to see her head swaying and feet tapping is so inspiring. It's so sweet and innocent, remarkable. She's like a little ray of sunlight and hope.❤

It's astonishing to see her play the piano the way she does. No missed key, no missed note. I'm not able to comprehend how it was ever possible for her to study this music.

Notice that most 'normal' people drastically and chronically moving their heads so violently, side-to-side, would develop in seconds 'positional vertigo,' get dizzy and fall from the chair. Lucy's brain has adapted so well that--even though totally blind and moving her head so violently without vertigo--her hands and fingers still know perfectly well where each key in the keyboard is and how to get to them. Lucy's positional awareness over and above her disabilities is the quintessential example of brain and body plasticity to adapt, survive, and even thrive. Amazing! Go Lucy!
Lucy reminds me of an Australian boy called Kyan Pennell. Kyan was neuro divergent as well and tragically died in a farm accident at 12yo. Kyan had just taught himself piano in the 7 months prior to his death. He had memorised 35 classical pieces of music. After his death his parents found the beginning of a piano composition that he had composed. He had no formal training, having learnt off TH-cam and taught himself to read and write music. Since his death as a tribute to his talent a number of performers and orchestras have played arrangements of his composition. He has a TH-cam channel in his memory. What a loss of talent!😢😢

И как найти ей путь домой,
Девечье сердце подсказало,
С каким же трепетом она,

Как будто видела сама,
Предвосхищение начала.
