Beck ran. Slid because he didn’t want to take a hit. And then did some kinda in your face thing with his hand pointing toward the inzone. Beck should have kept running and been a man. This is not a good sign from beck. Imo
He gashed them on 3rd down. He knew he had the first and all qbs are coached to slide now, idk if you've watched the last 10 years. Beck has shown he isn't afraid of contact if you actually watch Georgia play
You must be new here. QBs are taught to slide. If he stayed up #28 plows him and he could get hurt. Smart slide by Beck.
I prefer beck to smart slide after picking up that first. You are free to tell yours to be dumb and get knock tf out unnecessary.

So glad you are not a QB football coach becuase your team wouldn't have any QBs left to play due to injuries.
QBs on all levels, even dual threat QBs are coached to slide or step out of bounds before getting hit if possible.
Beck had did what he needed to do, he got a first down so yeah he slid like he was coached to do.
As for him pointing I guess you don't watch much college football, huh? He was making a hand gesture to denote he picked up thr first down, like about 99% of the players do when they pick up a first down.
