Nespresso are good and taste high quality, but the pods are expensive. Is 1-2$ per pod. It may sound as not much, but it’s more expensive then any other coffee and if you add up the expenses, it can be up to a 100$ per month
They’re expensive, but I used to stop at coffee shops everyday on the way to work, so it still saves me money in the end. But I get it, bc doing the math on those pods still hurts, especially when you get to checkout

All you need is decent beans. A decent coffee grinder. A scale with a timer and a pour over coffee maker that you like to work with. You’ll make a pour over that’ll beat most expressos at shops.

If you can't afford an espresso machine, get a moka pot. Much cheaper and you can choose the coffee you use. Nespresso coffee is cheap over roasted coffee made with robusta beans. Robusta is a low grade coffee that is very bitter.

That Nespresso is expensive too du to the spinning capsule technology (centrifuge) a classic Nespresso would be cheaper I got myself a L'or Barista Nespresso machine don't know if they exist outside of France (I live in France ) the machine isn't too expensive it can do two cups at the same time. It can also take Big capsules to make two mugs of coffee at the same time
If you can't afford espresso machine, but whant to make cofee at home buy aeropress or v60 or French press, etc. or just save money untill you can buy some entery level espresso machine. Nespresso seems like a good deal, until you realize how much you've spent on capsules.
