    Omgoodness Kevin!!!!!! This little rotisserie contraption is so genius for a pellet grill!!! Even when it stopped spinning you made it look so easy to get cranked up again for more spinning action!!!!! Awesome video as usual!!!!!🔥

    • @Mankitchenrecipes
      @Mankitchenrecipes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      😁 Thanks you two! It would even work in your beautiful smoker, or your kettle grills! Heck it would even work on some of your home made grills! No electricity needed and it is very easy to wind up, you just have to wind it up every 40 minutes. I still have not had it go a full hour but that's OK! And it does clean up great in the dishwasher!!! Sorry I can't always catch your lives, but sometimes I just need to keep my eyes on the road... And thank you so much for checking this out!!! Hope you guys are having a great weekend!!!

    Question Kevin. After seeing Jeremy Yoder's rotisserie brisket experiment on a pellet grill and how it turned out to be a raging success I am looking for a good Rotisserie solution to use in my Lone Star Grillz Pellet smoker like yours. Now the question is will the clockwork mechanism on the roto tisserie be strong enough to rotate a brisket? I could break it down and just smoke the point and I am sure it would be fine but if this roto tisserie will truly turn a 15lb to 17 lb brisket then this would be a great solution. I know the roto tisserie is not long enough for a full brisket but thats an easy modification to extend the base bars on the frame. What are your thoughts?

    • @cybrpypr
      @cybrpypr ปีที่แล้ว

      I read the weight capacity from the company is 5 lbs. however if I break the brisket down to the point and the flat and cook them separately then it will still work.

    • @Mankitchenrecipes
      @Mankitchenrecipes  ปีที่แล้ว

      I was just going to tell you this 😁 yeah, 5lbs. And I don't think rototisserie is available anymore? But Q-Roto is at $135? If you figure something out, let me know! 👍👍

    LMAO KEVIN. Glad to see I'm not the only one that things like that happen to. I am impressed with that little gadget. Definitely going to have to try that. I have been wanting to add a rotisserie to my Pit Boss but didn't really want to drill holes in it. Once again your on top of your game. 👏👏👏👏👏

    • @Mankitchenrecipes
      @Mankitchenrecipes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahaha, it's not the 1st time! I could've easily edited that 1st chicken out and no one would have known any different, but what fun is that? Plus, I feel others need to know what not to do if it doesn't work for me the first go around. Someone would go out, buy one, set their grill to 350 degrees and burn the heck out of your chicken then come back and leave a comment about it. I'm not like that. I have screwed up, then totally started over with new footage the right way, it happens. And I'm sure I'm not the only one :) I'll keep learning how this thing works, next week is with the rotisserie (didn't burn anything) and eventually I'll have some really great stuff coming off of it. Oh and I too didn't want to drill holes in my Pit Boss. And I'm hoping that a new model will just include one? GMG grills does, so... Anyway, have a great day!!!

    I saw that on Amazon. I was thinking of getting one. Pretty cool. I dont even have a pellet grill. But it is on my list. Like u said it would even work on a gas grill. Where did u find the shish kabob adaptor for it

    • @Mankitchenrecipes
      @Mankitchenrecipes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Yes, I found this and the shish kabob adaptor on Amazon. When I was ordering, in that middle box saying others also purchased it had that adapter and a basket. The basket has been out of stock for some time. I didn't buy it at that time. But this rotisserie does work pretty good! I made a habit of just going out and winding it up every 30 minutes just so it wouldn't stop on me without me knowing it. I will be trying it out on my Weber kettle soon to see how well it does. But I like using it in the pellet grill so that I get that smoky flavor, which I can still get on my kettle. Coming soon! Have a Happy New Year!

    That second chicken turned out great and the bark looked delicious! The first one was a little on the dark side, but, hey this is what grilling and smoking bbq are all about! Thanks for checking this out Mike! Yeah, it works pretty good, well after burning at least one chicken! LOL!!! And it seems that the company that made them didn't survive during the Covid shutdowns... For awhile you could find them on Ebay. You could always look for someone selling on FB Market Place or Craigslist? I didn't want to modify my pit. I've seen others do it, but it didn't look like it worked right. I also picked up a 22" Weber kettle for next to nothing on FB, bought a rotisserie ring for it and it too works even better because the roto-tisserie is a little small and has a 5lb weight limit. Anyway, good luck and I hope you figure out something that will work for you!

      Definitely Sal! Too bad I don't still live in CA. I have a ring and rotisserie for a (19" I think?) weber that I can't use... And hey, one of these is about $80. It spins slower than a regular rotisserie so I think it's perfect for a pellet grill, but it would work on a weber or any grill for that matter. Maybe it's time to start looking at the Weber attachments! 👍🍻👊

    Thanks for the video! Great find. Now I can feed my non-red meat (except bacon, HA HA) eating grandkids and daughterinlaw some real smoked goodness! ;-)

    Seems like you would lose a lot of heat cranking it up. Only drawback i could see. Great video!

      Yeah, there's that, but most grills reheat fairly quickly. I haven't used it in a looong time... but I have been thinking about using it again. The biggest issue is people may want one and the Roto Tisserie is pretty much out of business, and the alternatives are expensive compared to the plug-in kind. Have a great day!👍

      Sorry! I looked it up a week ago and it said it was out of stock. Same with eBay... Just like a lot of things these days "Out of stock" Thanks for checking this out!

      And that's for Roto-Q... Which is the same thing. I just looked on Amazon for Roto Tisserie, and someone has 3 left at $317.89! Absolutely ridiculous 🙄 I think Roto Tisserie went out of business a few years ago. Thanks for checking this out, and I hope you have a great day!👍✌️

    From Popielle. No, honestly, I love to watch failed videos. It gives me resolve the not buy this product. I can imagine you winding up your roto-toy when the metal is 350 degrees. I also think it has a very short half-life. You say it's good over almost any heat source (as long as there is a grate to set it upon) but how long is the lubrication inside the metal jacket is going to last at high temperatures? And when you can purchase a universal rotisserie for half the price, I wouldn't mind a couple holes drilled into my Pit Boss if I got the desired results. Thank you...for warning me off.

      Thanks for checking this out! It so far is working out great. I've used it many times since and they make gloves or even an oven mit to be able to wind it up when it's hot. There is no lubricant, if there was it would burn out on the first cook. But to each their own, so drill away! I'll keep using this method when needed. I hope you have a Great Day! 👍

      Thank you! Love the name of your channel! I don't like to tell people how they should run their channels, everyone has their own techniques and such. However when I clicked to go to your channel the home page says: This channel doesn't have any content. So you should probably go to your studio and click on Customization and at least have your Uploads added to your home page. I was confused that you have subscribers with no videos until I clicked on Videos and it looks like you have some really good ones! Thanks again for checking out my channel and I hope you have an awesome day!
