To spot a false teaching, usually just have to read a few verses before it or after it

What if you are not the plant, but the soil? And the fire purifies the bad on you(the tares) but leaves what’s good(the wheat)?
Why does it have to be all or nothing? Our salvation is said to be a gift, and Jesus every knee shall bend and every tongue confess. Why can not everyone convert once we depart from the flesh, and we all be saved?

Yeah when a pentecostal say I'm baptized with the holy ghost and with fire, it just shows his ignorance. Also when he says with the evidence of speaking with tongues. Paul clearly said, does all speak with tongues? Now I will agree when someone says with the evidence of spiritual gifts, but I can't agree when they say with the evidence of speaking with tongues only

There's 2 different fires. A Holy Fire Baptism fire as in the Book of Acts and a judgement fire. Revelation talks about a Holy Fire that purifies, which is what all Christians should be seeking. In Revelation 8 Jesus said "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." This is the purifying fire we should be seeking and desiring.

No , I would like to say that I have a different opinion than yours. In the context of Luke chapter 3, that fire doesn't refine noone , that fire burns forever who ever is not worthy and makes no fruits. That fire burns , that fire is the punishment , that is the hell fire!

The Coming of the Kingdom of God
20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
22 Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. 23 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.

@@gilgamesh7652 their is no problem with that phase and read it fully too understand the real meaning. Remember God said he will judge everyone those found in the book of life will be with him in heaven but those not found will go to the lake of fire(second death)

    • @gilgamesh7652
      @gilgamesh7652 ปีที่แล้ว

@@bobbytechs737 God's absolute presence is both the fire that burns in hell and baptizes in heaven.
Remember God loves everyone equally and unconditionally, but sometimes love can be painful if your heart is hard.
The funny thing old Judaism didn't believe in an afterlife, for the old jews death was the end of the line, God was taking back the breath of life and the mortal soul just died with the body.
Now, let's remember that Jesus said that anyone who keeps his word will have eternal life and they will live, imagine a jew of that time seeing a man saying stuff like that, the most normal response would be to stone him.
Hades/Sheol was God's storage for the souls of good people that died before Jesus.
You know Jesus saved humanity in two different ways in East and West Christianity
      Example...
For Roman Catholics, Jesus saved man and allowed him to reach heaven by paying the price for sin through his death by crucifixion. For the Orthodox, salvation is achieved by Christ's triumph over death in the Resurrection.

My man. The baptism of fire is only spoken of here in John. The baptism of fire is only referring to the tongues of fire which appeared in the upper room in the heads of the 120 BELIEVERS. This was to indicate to those that the Holy spirit which was promised by Christ had come . There is no baptism of fire as a principle .
There are only four baptisms and they are as follows:
    1) baptism into Christ : when we believe and are born again we are baptised INTO the body of Christ . This is done by the Holy Spirit baptising us into Christ.
    2) baptism with/ into the Holy Ghost: this is when Christ baptises us into the Holy Spirit and we become empowered to fulfill our ministry (s per Peters account in the beginning of the book Acts)
    3) Baptism into water: immersed into water by a fellow believer to make a declaration to those around us of what has happened within us.
    4) Baptism into the sufferings of Christ: being placed into hard times and difficult times by the world upon us for the stand we have made. We have left the world , out of Sins grip and now the devil torments us ......sufferings not brought on by our stupid choices but sufferings because we stand for Christ. Just like He experienced when He was amongst men and women 2070 years ago

There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished! "I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing! (Luk 12:49-50 NABO)
"For by my wrath a fire is enkindled that shall rage to the depths of the Abyss, Consuming the earth with its yield, and licking with flames the roots of the mountains. (Deu 32:22 NABO)
Down I went to the roots of the mountains; the bars of the Abyss were closing behind me forever (Jon 2:7 NABO)
'Who will go down into the abyss?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead) (Rom 10:7 NABO)

Jesus' baptism is when he wields the fiery sword guarding the way to the Tree of Life on the day of vengeance AS judgment, setting up the abomination of desolation in himself, as the Tremple without one stone left standing upon another. It is the sacrifice that makes him to be sin. There was no physical crucifixion. He then returns, within the same generation, to with the burden of sin on him to fulfill the resurrection.
it is better to marry than to be on fire. (1Co 7:9 NABO)
Jesus is the eternal source of salvation. The everlasting pool of fire and sulfur is for refinging the sinner and removing their impurities. There, the will be tortured... tested for purity, and tormented... questioned or interogated. You are the wheat. Your impurities, or sins, are the chaff that will no longer be remembered.
