Kim Hee-jin (Korean: 김희진; RR: Kim Hui-jin; born 29 April 1991) is a South Korean female professional volleyball player. She was a member of the Republic of Korea women's national volleyball team at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics. The team finished at fourth place in 2012 and fifth in 2016.
Kim has been a member of the Hwaseong IBK Altos since the team's inaugural season, 2010-2011. She was selected with the first overall pick in the NH-Nonghyup V-League 2010-2011 draft by the Altos. She helped her team to the league title and championship title during the 2012-2013 season. In the 2013-2014 season, Kim and her team clinched their second consecutive league title, but lost to the GS Caltex Seoul KIXX in the championship round. In the 2014-2015 season, her team finished second in the league standings, but swept the Seongnam Korea Expressway Corporation Hi-pass in the championship round to claim the Altos' second championship title in three years. Kim Hee-jin played a crucial role during the championship round alongside American Destinee Hooker.
On April 13, 2015, Kim Hee-jin was selected to the Republic of Korean women's national volleyball team together with fellow Altos members Park Jeong-ah, Chae Seona, Nam Jiyeon and Kim Yoori.
Kim heejin is super powerful. She’s able to play as a middle blocker, too. She’s amazing multi player.

The only thing she need to do is built more muscle on her arm so that she can spike with more power since kim yeongkoung, kim suji and yang hyojin already retired
she’s the strongest in her team, you probably don’t see her that much off court, even KYK said that Kim hee jin is the strongest among them
@@duckie2598 yeah i know about that. It just that lately she doesnt have that much power in her spike, maybe because the lack of training due to her knee surgery

she was injured before this tokyo olympic, so she wasnt able to contribute much this time
Although she got surgery her knee just 2 months before tokyo Olympics, she did her best and great job, she got 20 points in one game, 16 points in another game as well, that made korean team won those games.
By the way, regardless of her total 76 points, we praise her mind. Think if we got surgery, we and our family never allowed us to jump and land, run, and roll, not just 1 minute but for so long hours. We never thought about anything esle but asked to be off from our work to get more treatments and we are still very carefull to Walk.
But she sacrificed herself for Korean team. If I were her or her parents, I never allowed myself or her to play. Moreover, she is Opposite hitter, so she had to use more energy and power every set and game.
But Kim Hee Jin never showed her pain during the games but then when each game was over, she even couldn't follow team members' walking speed to go back to loading, because of her serious knee pain.
So Korean say Kim, Hee Jin showed us what Olympic Spirit is more than anyone else. She really DID Contribute to Korean team in this tokyo olympics. That's why Korean team head coach Mr.Lavarini posted Kim Hee Jin's photo on his Instagram after Olympic games were done.
Kim hee jin did contribute to korean team in this tokyo olympic games. Kim hee jin shows true Olympic Spirit with her serious knee pain. Korean team Head coach was very proud of her cuz of her deep and thoughtful mind and strong mentality to overcome her knee pain for Korean team.
And I lover her personality and manners off court, too. I definitely support her. Hoping that she takes good care of her knee and full-recovery. Way to go, Kim hee jin.
she did perform well to the olympics, she has a big contribution to the tokyo olympics, that why she is being loved by the koreans fans, despite of not being fit due to surgery, but she did well.. and im become a fan of her also, despite everything she show her passion, fighting spirit,and now she is popular like her Unnie Kim Yeonkoung and its being acknowledge by her..

I went to see the asain match at Jakata Plembang 2018 at that time i wanted to take a picture vs Kim Yeon kuong but she kept walking away like she couldn,t she me then i went away please take a picture vs ZhuTing she argreed and smiled . For that reason. I don,t like the Korean team enymore👍🏾
