You can root your kick and bass on output bus 3/4. Then, with cables from out 3 and 4 to your soundcard, you have them as 2 separate channels. You can process them in your daw in real-time. Note that outputs 3 and 4 do not use the analogue distortion or any of the effects.
I’m actually working towards getting a new mixer for my DAW, and plan on doing this, or, sending one or two synth parts out to my computer as mono channels, for effects I have in my DAW. Currently, I send the kick and bass out to my current mixer just for their EQ’s so I can free up an fx part since it’s limited to 3 fx sadly.
I record it all on my rc 505 looper (he's got one on his right This guy) and have finily got a interface built in my new soundcraft notepad mixer might do ableton or some good rec source
@@Henr1x if you check one of my videos you will see a techno live set . not the same setup but you can hear the effect .. i add a high pass filter then a roll effect and then reverb.. you will get some nice build ups !!
Yeah, you definitely need to make some tutorials. I wish I spent more time really digging into mine as opposed to just using it for industrial/ebm as a drum machine and bass for live playing. All day now I’ve been playing with my Electribe, virus c, and Arturia Minibrute.

My only complaint with the electribe is that you can’t change velocity to add that extra texture to the baseline. Edit, I just found out, you can use motion sequence, trig hold to achieve this! Now my only complaint is I need a couple more synth parts, and more fx channels. God I love this machine!

I get you. Personally I don’t think compressing is the way to go. At least on the emx. Give it a eq instead. Boost the bass for kick and bass, but not to much. Compressing goes after if you have one or into a DAW.
Great work first of all! I have one but wanted to learn my DDJ-SR Pioneer controller first. So now I want to connect said controller to my EMX-1 what type of interface should I get to this or how do I go about doing that please!???
Thank you. I don't know what you really want to do with your controller and the emx. But if you want to use the effect section and equaliser you send audio to the input channel on the controller. I'm not sure though 😂 usually like this it works.

R u familiar with a synth drum effect for psych trance and its uses the end of drum like the rim you know that clicking noise and the sound goes on and off (not slicer effect) do know if its owt do with the cross modulation?

Any pointers on how to record the audio in HQ besides the camera mic? Cuz i just want the video part of my camera and i would like to record the master out for the soundquality.
Hi! Thank you. You can use your laptop with a daw and an audio interface. Or use a numerical microphone and send it thru audio input. But easier to use the daw cause you can work on it. Anyway if you record with a mic thru audio in you will need the daw for better results. Than just use a video software to assemble. I hope it helps. Cheers
Practice ;). Get familiar with your knobs, know your track, and jam with it. You’ll feel it. Just takes some practice. I know when making a new track, I’ll fumble around a good bit in the beginning while jamming, but eventually it smoothes out nicely.
look up korg emx1, there is a red Sampler too from the same time and maker.. together u can do pretty much everything, but the blue one (emx1) alone is also a machine! sry for my bad english grammar and vocabulary, still improving..
with the blue one got a synthsection and only the drums, kicks etc they are on there.. therefore the red one, u can put on the red (sampler one) pretty much what u like and get startet immediately..

How are you transitioning between "tracks"? Are you in song mode or are you literally just transitioning from patch to patch? I've only ever thought about making individual songs and patches. Never to actually DJ the tracks on my Electribe. Going to have to give this a try!
@@Henr1x If you menu dive in song mode you can stitch together individual patches into a song. Ontop of that, you can tell it to play another song after the current one is over. Haven't messed with all that too much though. This thing boggles my mind at times haha Thanks for the feedback though! I like how you have more improv control over the transitions with what you are doing!

That is something nice but doesn’t work for me. I’ve a compressor activated and I like to stay in the same pattern on the 505. But it’s a nice usage.

Hi! Maybe what you're talking about it's those Psy leads made with shorted snares and a high pass filter. With modulation going on the filter.
