I keep a cheap screw on UV filter on my lens at all times. I also recently sent sparks to my lens. Cool shot, but instead of a new lens I had a $7 part to replace!

I really can't wait to see the end result. Mixed emotions about it though because then the built series will be finished. On a personal note: I'm watching this built series with my son now who just graduated from high school. Class of 2020, COVID-19 really screwed things up for all of them. He is totally hooked to your channel and I gave my parental permission for him to get his motorcycle license. We have to figure out two things now: (1) how this works now (online..?); (2) how to keep this secret from his mom. You are an inspiration!
I think it's going to be a fair distance away from finishing, so plenty of content to come. Excellent news about your sons graduation and him getting a license. Glad to know he also likes the channel. I suggest easing the idea with his mum. Drop little hints so it's not too much of a shock.
Hey! Thanks for all the tips and easy guidance on the build of the cx500. I am wondering if you know where I can order rear shocks for a cx 500 c 1981 that fits and got the length of 340 mm. The bike is sitting a bit low after rebuilding so I want to lift it up a little bit.
Yeah it will be a custom made speedo to fit in there, obviously when it's carbon fibre there'll be all the room in there and possibly a custom triple tree clamp to allow for extra room. And then the plexiglass above it
Nooo. In fact the majority of aftermarket lights you see for sale Aren’t MOt compliant as to pas the lenses need to kick the light up to the left. So not too worried about fitting the original back on for a pass
This looks awesome. And I think it is very interesting to see the whole process of modeling the molds. Would you mind telling me what kind of modeling clay you are using? I've searched a bit, but there are plenty different types, I don't know which one to choose. Thanks in advance. =)

You can fit any shocks onto the CX, TFX make really good shocks that would come in that length
