I was there for our second final with Kedah, me hailing from Singapore but Kedah was my favourite team and my favourite state still though my kamoung is from perak. I remembered sitting beside the kedah fans opposite the grandstand. kedah deserved the victory though i was dissappointed singapore lost coz i wanted to experience a malaysia cup victory. the 1990 final was electrifying but i enjoyed every minute spent at merdeka. Singapore and Malaysia, we are like brothers, it cant be separated.
I went to all the heart ache losing 3 finals to KL , losing the 92 to Pahang. Its 4 loses and 2 wins and to hear a section of Singapore Ah Beng said he rather support other sport than Singapore national futball team is BS. ❤ from Sg Petani

Singapura tidak bernasib baik kerana terlepas banyak peluang termasuk kegagalan menyempurnakan sepakan penalti. Tetapi tahun kemudian Singapura kembali bersinar dengan menumpaskan Pahang 4-0 dalam perlawanan akhir.
