the beats are just simple, all of them had only like 5 or 6 sounds and left a lot of empty room for the artists, and in my opinion theyre actually pretty hard and the melodies are really catchy.
The beats were so lackluster this year no one would be mad if one of the rappers turned off the beat.

I feel like that’s part of the challenge. The beat shouldn’t have to save the rappers. The rappers are supposed to be good with or without the beat being good or not. That’s the challenge; not to rely on a good beat. So I was able to see rapper’s real capabilities especially if they did good on a trash beat.

I felt so disappointed when he went in without the whistle, but the verse was pretty good until he just noped out of there
First time I was listening to the first cypher, I was like damn this is actually a damn good cypher. Everyone was actually spitting and it was very enjoyable to listen to. But the moment this Coi Leray girl came in, I was like oh dear...and that wasn't even the worst part, when she opened her mouth and started her verse, I was so confused. I thought someone had tricked her microphone or something, like it sounded like an audio issue but no she actually was spitting like that. So disappointed, could have been cypher to come back to but pls no. This baby voice trash gotta be tossed in the bin.
