As a student of Gangaji's teachings for over 20 years and a newcomer to Angelo, I must say this conversation is the perfect spiritual Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
The discussion toward the end of the interview about meeting our greatest fear - whatever it is - is what I call the Original Wound (OW). The most common ones are abandonment, unworthiness, a sense of being wrong, inadequate, etc. Our unique original wound is clearly visible in the breath and very fabric of our whole life story and it is also where our greatest gifts lie. The original wound represents the moment in time where we believed that we successfully separated from God/Source and the seemingly endless nightmare of illusion began. The reason it is vitally important to meet our original wounds is that our ability to truly be of divine service will be crippled if we don't. Angelo, I just want to say that I've been a huge fan of Gangaji for about a decade and I've never seen anyone "dance" with her in an interview quite so consciously as you did 🌹⚡👏
I agree. No shame in saying she is gorgeous. She is a spiritual giant as are you Angelo. Thank you both for the work you do. I'm in tears feeling so much joy.
I've seen many interviews of awakened beings by interviewers who are not awakened or not as awakened as one interviewing. These interviews your doing Angelo are so incredibly fresh because it's obvious Awareness is speaking to Awareness. Thank you, endless gratitude and blessings 💖
🥰🥰🥰 What a beautiful conversation. I love how it flowed so naturally. She has such a lovely and soft and caring voice. Thank you for asking the questions that you asked, Angelo. This was such a joy to listen to. 🙏💕
Thank you Angelo! The coming together of all the masters and teachers is powerful and very much welcomed. Awesome conversation with beautiful Gangaji and wonderful you. ❤
I just began listening to Gangaji's story and you're right, the BURDEN we carry as a child when we feel something is wrong and we carry it for a very long time after childhood, at least I did. 🙏
This is an incredibly beautiful interview! Gangaji was my first teacher 30 years ago and I still sit in heart-opened silence and joy in her presence. What a gift to see you both together. Thank you so very much for this offering!
Profound! I stopped the video a couple of times to drop into what was being spoken. 5 minutes in front of a mirror and "What do I want?" all very powerful!
I love Gangaji, and I didn’t know she was also from Mississippi 😂 as a former Mississippian, I can say it is a beautiful place, but there are many hurdles to awakening.
Many years ago when I “woke up” out of the spiritual tradition I had been immersed in for many years, Gangaji was there for me with her clarity, precision and simplicity. What a difference she made! Thank you Gangaji ! 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
So beautifully put [15:02] you lose it all, lose your gender, lose your nationality, lose your ranking, and what's here... what's here that is always here? I love it. 🙏 ...and wow! She mentioned Mill Valley. I grew up in Mill Valley, and probably skated 🛹 by her acupuncture practice dozens of times as a child. 🏡
47:19 ❤Very powerful. Wow. I have heard of Gangaji, but have never listened to her speak. Her transmission is very powerful ❤Thank you Angelo. This was wonderful.
I sat with this beautiful soul in sept 2011. I woke up in October. In the weeks between my mind stopped. I was strangely quiet. Her transmission field is huge. Her presence genuinely still. Thanks for this wonderful interview. Sharing!
Fantastic thank you.. have read Gangajji’s books and followed her for years, and hours and hours of papajji too, including others as well… I remember being about 5 years old sitting digging in my sandpit and felt so desperately miserable… in my language of now it was “is this fucking it?” later on sitting on my window sill at age 6 looking out watching a man go by walking his dog, and just felt this is what life is..? All my life I had been depressed and lost and confused… but had various glimpses..
Thank you so much Ganga Ji for your love and generosity 🙏❤️🙏 Thank you so much Angelo for this beautiful interview... So kind of you to bring Ganga Ji to speak to all of us... Loved the 'eye gazing' part... Beautiful....🙏🌸🏵️🙏
Thank you Angelo and Gangaji. Loved this interview! The discussion about the difficulty of communicating / inviting surrender was wonderfully done. I have a feeling people will experience shifts listening to this.
So wonderful to see beloved Gangaji. I must also say that the picture of Ganges behaind Gangaji is so magnetic, so beautiful and mysterious. I must have the same picture, it gives me this feeling of mystery I love.
My curiosity is burning my lips, wanting to ask to some 40 K viewers + who just didn't feel the impulse to show their appreciation. Less than 1.4 K + seem to have loved this sharing, as for the others, I just wonder, what did you expect ? No intention to be disrespectful nor condescending, seriously, I really would love to understand why so many silent voices ?💙🙏
Fantastic to meet you 2 people together. I had the same wake-up call 3 years back, at the age of 61, when the window of greater possibilities opened. I am so-so greatful for that! But at the same time (now), I felt so discouraged by my age and limited funds and present company for progress. Thank you 2. I really appreciate this conversation. Gangaji is a blessing to this planet. This means that you are as well. Will you listen? Some people (in this life) are not (yet) called. If anything of this speaks to you, you ARE called NOW. Blessings & Namaste.
OMG!!! Absolutely no words. The transmission of what was just offered struck in a way that I’ve never experienced. YOU ARE THAT WHICH YOU SEEK. I have heard this said a million times in a million different ways, but never felt the profundity, until now. 🙏

It is good news! That you're already "It!" But just grasping that intellectually, or agreeing with it or believing it, isn't Self realization. I would suggest people interested in this general subject to take a deep dive with Ramana's teachings, and they'll see that indeed there is work to be done, you're not yet literally "free".
Transmission indeed happens. Sure you’re the Self, everyone is the Self, but fat lot of good that does you to know it if you haven’t realized it. So how does one realize it? Well one good way is to spend time interacting with someone who has. There are many reasons this works. Why do you think so many people gathered around Ramana, Papaji, Buddha, etc etc etc? I started following Gangaji about a year ago. I’m pretty sure she’s the one. I’ll keep following you too Angelo because you move me in a spiritual way too. What a great interview. My 2 favorite people together is kind of overwhelming. ❤
I really like the stillness she conveys, It’s obvious she speaks from that place of unmoving emptiness. It so resonates right now. I love this conversation, Thank you
What a great interview. Gangaji is a beautiful appearance. So relaxed, white hair, deep voice, female 🙂 Enlightenment clearly does not make people become the same type of person. You still keep your individual traits: looks, behaviour, way of speaking, ... This is fascinating to see. Where are all these enlightened women? Can I marry one? 🙂 Thank you Angelo for all the material you provide. You are quite productive 🙂 Your way of speaking is very precise. I love that!
Thank you both for this beautiful time together. It's refreshing to see; feel a teacher who expresses such mature realization, as Angelo put it. I was deeply touched by the sense of warmth and compassion that Gangaji naturally expresses as well.
Absolutey a great talk. And again with the mirror ... when I was a little girl I was SO affraid. - and especially of looking in the mirror at night because I was affraid not to see anyone there.... oh how beautifull life is
I discovered Gangaji two days ago and I've been binging her videos. Absolutely beautiful presence which has pushed me into more frequent and powerful experiences of my true nature. In the silence there is peace. In the clamor there is peace. In the victories there is peace. In the failures there is peace. In the ecstasy there is peace. In the wanting more there is peace. In the wanting more there is peace. Which brought me to and highlighted one of my biggest questions: how do I bring my thoughtless nature into the world of concepts and thought? Is it impossible? That didn't seem to make sense as people who have convincingly claimed to realized their true nature do act differently. Is this simply a result of enlightenment and cannot be focused or directed? One thing I realized is that simply not resisting the idea of death mentally or resisting the idea of failure mentally and realizing that success in life is ephemeral frees the physical mind. When I choose to do this or that from a place of understanding that whatever I do is ultimately pointless, then it frees me to make decisions that generally align with actions that lead to more of what I want. Because I know that it is my mind that is looking for love and that I am truly peace always, I am less likely to binge eat as I would have in the past. Because I know that the body will give out and it will pass away, I'm less likely to avoid chores and practices that wear me out. Instead of allowing social media to distract me my mind is free to say "you can choose to continue to allow yourself to be distracted for the rest of your physical life and you will die not doing the things you really wanted to do OR you can choose to do the more strenuous stuff that may or may not lead to what you want and then you will die. Which do you choose?" This could have only happened from gaining the perspective that I am peace always at my core. This could have only happened when I was able to face my own mortality instead of pushing it away. Enlightenment on one level has nothing to do with thoughts or any other objects. Presence is unchanging and formless. Phenomena is ephemeral. On another level enlightenment frees us to really look at the mind and other objects because we put distance between ourselves and the phenomenal world. This gives us perspective and power. We are no longer slaves to the lies that say are our thoughts and bodies at the deepest level.
Happy to honor your request to hear in comments people talking about “this” (she’d said acknowledge your desire , then use it as a springboard to a deeper desire, and accept/know you want THAT.) This took me quickly/deeply into here & now…and to PEACE! Then she said, laughing, “I’ve never said it that way; thank you, you brought that out.” My gratitude goes to you both together - and to the Unnameable that reveals all!
You touched on the ''magic'' in the discovery that what you thought to be 'your search', your nearly-despairing longing, is the self-same longing in the heart of one's creation. The sweetness is searing...❤🔥
Wow very cool on the invitation to feel the feelings we avoid. I recently did this with being hurt I never wanted to be hurt again and so never cared to prevent pain. I realised my heart was closed but I didn’t know how to open it , I would try to feel love but it wouldn’t work. It was only when I opened my self to be hurt or feel hurt that I connected with my heart. I cried with pain at first a pain so old I dont even remember where it came from but then so much more peace and relaxation. Of course I will be hurt again but it’s ok you can’t learn to skate without scraping a few knees
I would love for you to interview Roger Castillo one day. It's probably currently not possible since he's taken a step back from teaching and public appearances for the time being, but hopefully it can happen in the future.

Which do you choose?"
This could have only happened from gaining the perspective that I am peace always at my core.
Wonderful. Yes she’s a gem
Hello, i just write here that Sleeper has Awoken ! Now its time to be choosen one of my life :)
46:40 very powerful few minutes that followed this, really struck me and made me stop for a moment
I would love for you to interview Roger Castillo one day. It's probably currently not possible since he's taken a step back from teaching and public appearances for the time being, but hopefully it can happen in the future.
Wow, this was wonderful.
