There are people like me na d nman kya magtravel, so by watching you JM i am informed, educated and appreciating all your activities as well as your humbleness in admitting your not so serious mistakes.
Continue being raw, natural and chill. That's what in the first place my reason for following you. Don't change, your best asset is your genuine opinion on things, places and etc.
God bless your good heart, more vlogs💪

back when I used to travel a lot(15-20 yrs. ago), wala pang mga vloggers.
so I do my own diligence to research on that particular place na pupuntahan ko. we usually travel by our own itinerary. swerte mga tao ngayon may katulad nila JM na pwedeng panoorin if u want to travel w/o a group tour or help ng travel agency. you can have a sneak peek on what to expect. kaya I appreciate these kind of travel vlogs. ganun talaga wala namang perfect but impt. is flexible ka at willing to adapt to changes or any mishaps along the way. more power and always stay safe, JM!👍🏻

Like JM said, siya na ang nagkakamali for us so that we will not do the same thing during our travel. I think those who are giving constructive criticisms come from a place of broken expectations. These YT personalities share their life willingly. They're the ones holding the camera and editing it in a way they want to project their lives. As a viewer for 3yrs now, I have gotten used to JM's informative solo DIY travels. My KL trip was productive and surprisingly memorable with the help of JM's vlogs. Meanwhile, his SYD vlog was kind of a disappointment since he has been traveling for years now, and he should have done a good amount of research and preparation since it's his first time out of Asia - all the more he should be excited and over prepare. He has too much on his plate now it seems. He's everywhere, all over the place and he needs to have a good sit down and check his priorities. If he still wants to do YT, he has to step up, after all he is earning from our views.

A great learning video! One thing though kapag malamig you don’t need a thick coat, the key is layering because your body heat is trapped between the layers. Lalo na dito sa Melbourne with 4 seasons in a day. It may be warm in the morning but freezing at night. Layering gives you the option to peel off the layers kapag uminit

Mas exciting ang trip pag nawawala, namimiss mo mga stops, naiiwan ka ng train, etc - ito yung mga moments na pag binalikan mo, nakakatawa pero natuto ka. Boring ang trip pag super perfect. Ang importante, lagi ka lang may pera, credit card, fully charged phone at internet...then you'll be fine 😊 More travels, JM! 🤗💜

As for me, madali ako ma-stress so I prep & google info about a country I'm about to visit as much as possible. There are safety concerns as well. Even cities that are considered safe have shady areas that you have to avoid venturing into esp when alone. Just a wrong turn at a downtown area can take you to a mugging zone. Then your trip turns from exciting and fun into a nightmare. JM please be careful telling your viewers that it's ok to be spontaneous with travel as it may lead newbie travelers to think that there are no risks involved. Peace!

Hi po, siguro new viewer po kayo kasi kami na totoong fam ni JM we love his format. Ive watched all of his japan and korea vlogs ganito na talaga format ni JM. As a viewer hindi lng naman si JM ang source ko ng travel entertainment dito sa yt. If bet ko yung walang voice and naka totok lang sa attractions may walking tour vloggers for that. So please dont come here and force JM to change and cater to your liking. No one is forcing you to watch his vlogs so dont try and force him to bid your commands. @@kiks536 that you should find so many things to complain about, even a self declared fan defending JM, is beyond me. its just that your original comment came off as unnecessarily demanding. as if you're JM's boss, when clearly you are not. none of us viewers are. we are simply here to share in his travels. critiquing can be done in a professional and kind way, but it seems your main point of critique is that you don't like seeing JM's face. that's where i take issue, sorry. and im sorry but JM's lucrative travel vlogs are not because of negatrons like you. i believe he earns more with his partnership with klook for example, where he is constantly their top 1 travel vlogger. meaning, a lot of 'real fans' are using his klook discounts, which is where real financial gain from his vlogs comes from :)

+100 to this. He hasn't evolved much the last 3 years. While other travel vloggers are upping their A game, I think JM tends to be complacent. Example, not much interest or staying a bit long with scenic spot per location. Kuha lang ng money shot for the vlog and that's it, on to the next destination. Though the b-rolls are added sa vlogs, wala pa din direction and lost pa din sa frame. Wala masyadong substance it's as if randomly pumili lang ng clip sa camera roll and that's it (pwede na yan mentality). Choice of countries have greatly changed din yet no effort for much needed research is done. Hope you don't take this the wrong way instead take it as a challenge.

Hi JM, i really enjoyed your Sydney vlog, I watched all of it. i’ve lived here since 1982-just a few things I wish to add:
    1) you can use your phil contact number with uber as long as you use the app. I’ve used uber in different countries without needing to change my aust contact no
    2) i dont know who told you about flat white coffee being more popular than latte, cappuccino is actually the most popular . Flat white is coffee with plain milk poured on it straight from the carton or bottle
    3) False alarms are indeed common but we have very strict fire codes here & sorry that you had that experience but please remember thar it is for everyone’s safety. The alarm is meant to be loud to make sure everyone can hear it. If there is a real fire & the alarm is not as loud to wake you up, you would have slept through it & your life at risk

you can actually use Uber with just your PH number. had to login my Uber account last year in HK since di na namin kaya mag-train pero forgot my old account na so had to set up an Uber account again and it worked without needing an HK number. the OTP went thru even while my PH sim did not have roaming enabled. and then i used it in Taiwan this March too and just had to login again on the account i set up nung last year. i've used my Grab app the same way in Bangkok without needing a sim, just as long as i am able to login to my account

reason i opt for these rather than taxi kasi aside sa usually cheaper, i don't want d hassle na mag-explain pa san papunta or bababa pag sumasakay ng cab. at least with these apps, you just select your drop off points. usually less hassle and naiiwasan yung miscommunication due to language barrier

    1. Taxi is expensive, plus traffic pa. So uber, tram/train or walk
    2. Pag nasa Sydney, always bring water bottle kasi mahal ang tubig kahit sa convenience
    3. Coles/Woolies are a bit pricey na nga. Aldi and reject shop are cheaper
    4. Always stay where the tram is. George St in Sydney, Swanston St in Melbourne, nandyan lahat ng kainan at mga shops. Accessible transpo rin
    5. Kahit hindi winter maaga talaga nagcoclose ang shops dito. Except Thursdays until 9pm
    6. Coffee shops here are good, but 7/11 coffee is the best when on a budget. Kasi minsan hindi consistent ang coffee shops, may iba masarap, may iba hindi. I suggest try flat white with almond croissant
Balik ka ulit dito, sa Melbourne ulit or Gold Coast 😊

Flat white is the most famous coffee in Aus? I don’t think so. Coffee is popular but soo many different ones. The top 3 are cappuccino, latte and flat white. (Not in specific order) but mainly those. Iced lattes are really not as famous here because it’s very sugary. People here love their hot espresso coffee. Not much on those mochha frappe or iced coffee lattes like in Philippines.

Honest opinion and I hope this doesn't get deleted, shadow hide or me being blocked sa channel. I've notice you haven't evolved much the last 3 years.

I agree with you JM. :) There’s nothing wrong with your travel as long as you have enjoyed it. There will always be better recommendations from other experienced travelers which are helpful, but still we have our own preferences and choices. :) Even with coffee, kahit mas sikat ang flat white, one might still prefer a latte kasi mas magatas. :)
