@melaniehellum1281 yes the Paletteful Packs are a blast to work with. I was always excited for the next box and enjoyed the nice products they put into each box.

The band on the sketchbook is for you to keep it closed, since sometimes, depending on if you use wet or moist coloring, the paper may warp and be hard to close. (Oh duh, I guess you already know that.) These artist’s boxes are fun, to be sure, and can be really useful for many folks who are still exploring art supplies that they might want to try. But for me, I’ve never really gotten into them. The ones you’re showing, however, do seem to have some very practical items. ☺️

I don’t know how much you paid for the Premium Pack but I find that the ‘sample’ items are pretty pricey overall.

@ABirdWomen yes, I added it up one time from different websites and found that I would have paid more for the items individually with shipping than the box. I usually don’t like giving a price because times change and prices can vary through time from when I wrote this. But I paid about 42.00 with shipping 38.00 without shipping cost. I find it to be reasonable but to others it could be pricey so it all comes down to each individual themselves on what is pricy or a good deal.

I bet you could cover the outside cover wit something, maybe make a slip on cover for it! Or decoupage paper on it

You could probably stick something on it to make it sturdier that’s a good idea!! 😃 A slip cover would seem too thick for the paper cover very light weight. But for that amount of effort for only 20 pages it might not be worth it. Idk thinking it might be used for sample sheets when needed. Thank you for the good ideas

I think I have the original ArtGraf “block”…or whatever you call it. I broke down and bought it not that long ago. I haven’t really used it yet, but will one of these days. I thought about trying the colored ones too, but yep, the priciness stopped me. And then, did I really need them? No…but we all know that story. 😅

This box was amazing!! Glad I switch my daughter’s box to this one she loves getting similar to mine. And a plus for me if she does not use some of them it could be my extra stock… lol
