I am surprised that you don't write down your interesting stories on the other page. I've been doing that for a few years and have an illustrated diary to read in my old, old age. Heck, I'm 75 and already enjoy going back and experiencing my life again through my illustrated life chronicals. 😊
That's great advice. I do keep a journal/sketchbook that is mostly writing with some sketches and visual note-taking sprinkled in. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Very much enjoyed your sketchbook. I just bought one myself for my watercolor journey. I have no talent, but I am drawn to watercolor and am going to give it a try. Will be learning from TH-cam tutorials, and from artists like yourself for inspiration. Thank you.
Aha! thanks for the vote of confidence on the Samuel L Jackson. The other faces were not celebrities, but just random faces I found on Pinterest. Thanks for taking time to comment.
@ You’re welcome… I’m being honest😊. Well, I have my favorites in each medium. SKETCHING SCOTTIE AND GILEE ARTS I love love for urban sketching…LIKELIHOOD ART for digital art, HAMRIB ART and TUGCE DUMLUPINAR for gouache, Gretlusky -for ink to name a few, and I love your illustrative style. I’ve been meaning to get a Lamy Safari pen. I figured out in 2020 that art was my first love since childhood so I dove back into to learn it all at one time…. Even rug tufting.😆I love drawing faces but would love to paint landscapes. My mom was a great watercolor artist but my brain stops at details and I want to change that so….yup.☺️
Hi Steve, loved the tour…gouache is a fave of mine and I wondered if you would share why you choose zinc over permanent / titanium white for mixing. 🇨🇦
Your human portraits are great!
Thank you!
