Does basic fuschin not stain the cell wall and membrane along with staining the flagella? Basic fuschin has the ability to stain the acidic cell wall along with the tannic acid precipitate on flagella. So when Methylene blue is added to stain the cell wall, why will the cell wall and membrane take up methylene blue when it is already stained by basic fuschin? There is no decolourising agent used here which will make methylene blue act as counter stain. Kindly guide on this matter 🙏
