As a Dev and organized person, I organize activities with Trello and save important data and documentation in Notion, Trello is by far easier and better looking for your actitivities/tasks, Notion strong side is team tools, documentation, databases and customization if you dive deep into it but still looks awful speciallyl if looks motivate you to do stuff.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this! Trello is definitely streamlined and designed for being an activity and task manager, and Notion is strong in other areas! We think it is important to use different tools for different needs 😊

Very helpful! I am an executive assistant and am looking for better ways to communicate with my boss, keep her and me on task, provide reminders without having to wade through email or Teams. I appreciate the information!

Notion is for Devs and Trello is for Creatives. Notion is dumb and ugly. Thanks for this!

I used Trello before and decided to switch to Notion because of Notion’s strong databases. Trello confused me with their third party app integration 😅

Totally understand why you switched! We might have more comparison video coming so you can explore different apps with us.Thank you for watching and supporting us!

You explain things so simply and clearly. I really appreciate it as a new user overwhelmed with both apps. Thank you so much.
So it seems Notion really is geared more toward writing and formatting than task management, although it's possible to include the latter, which I never even knew you could integrate all these different functions! But after your comparison... definitely sticking to Trello for project management and Notion for writing.
There's also the ability to import Trello boards directly into Notion, but I've found that as I updated the cards through Notion, the changes didn't really apply to the Trello board. Was hoping they could sync boards in real time 🥲

Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching our video! Trello is definitely a lot more intuitive to use if you're simply looking for task management. We're sorry to hear that the boards didn't sync in real time! Right now, Trello as far as we understand is only able to do a one-way sync. If you change in Trello, you can view but not edit in Notion! Hope Notion can update this in the future!
