Awesome video! It's so beautiful in BC! Just one note (besides flipping the video so all the meters read correctly…): Please turn down the music at the end a notch. After listening to the guys talking on the intercom, the music was a bit too loud. Otherwise great! Keep up the good work!
Any concerns about snow depth? and or What the actual underlying terrain may be underneath the snow when picking a snowy, backcountry LZ? Just curious as to what are some of the techniques and visual signs to look for or be aware of. Again, much appreciate the great videos and effort that is put into them! Thank you BC Helicopters!! Enjoying the new content so far...
Yeah, I was very confused! Noticed sitting in wrong seats, pedals seemed backwards, and then when he said "pick up and go to the right" and they went left, I looked down at the dash and figured it out.
How about flying in altitude with an OAT Gauge not working? I mean, if you want to calculate your landing capabilities with the charts, OAT is one of the most important information you need.
When we do off field landings ie. mountain landings we always do power checks in the actual conditions we are landing in versus just relying on the predicted performance from a chart.
Awesome video and content. Really love to see these lessons - Thanks!

Everything seems to be in reverse as in video, or is it me..
It is definitely in reverse... we fixed that for future videos...
