that top right corner of the spawn. either side. i had many 10 kill games. before getting it i was lucky to get 1 kill a game. my first ride and i got 3 kills.
Bismarck Der Teufel there are still more than enough OP Tanks in WoT. Hetzer, SU85, KV 1, KV 1S, KV 2 all have good HE guns and with HEAT, they have good pen too. The best one is the Cruiser 2 with the HE Gun. Can one hit many tanks on it's tier with standard It's like that on the Xbox One version, sorry if they changed something in the PC Version.
Actually No its not how a free games get money and become successful. Hence why American's arn't the biggest number of players in WoTs. They don't like P2W. so they come they play they leave. But there is a competitve game thats F2P and not P2W. They make plenty of money, Have the record for the most players in the world playing in past years and even today. Last reported playerbase by Riot was 100million players active a month playing atleast 8 hours a week. I'm of cousre speaking of league of legends. A moba with far simpler coding than World of tanks, and Far below quality graphics even. Why was a game of inferior quaility in gameplay and graphics so much more succesful? The answer is easy and simple. The offered gamers what they always wished for. A game where they could say with out any doubt, I beat you because I'm better. Rich or Poor did not matter, only a players skill. The poor loved this and the Rich respected it and saw the chance to prove that it wasn't only their wallet that was better. WoTs is not so different from league besides the fact, that players can buy an advantage in Wots. Yes, a F2P player can win, but not against him self with gold shells, or a premium tank. He'd lose every time. So he played casually instead of competitvely. Casual players leave games, only competitve ones stay. That's the biggest mistake WoTs made in their game design, and its cost them prob a billions dollars already they could of had. I played both, haven't played wots in 2 to 3 years. I still play league. Never spent 1 dollar on world of tanks. I've spent over 1500 on league of legends. Thing is I think world of tanks is a better game. I just don't support cheating, and consider p2w just that. Thus why I quit playing. I do miss the game though, but an actual competitve game calls me. Wots can't be anything but casual till its no longer P2W.
You don't get it. The paywall prevents many players from buying premium tanks. Giving away an OP tank for free is a disaster. Every tier two I ever played was dominated by T18's on both teams. I rarely ever see a single premium tank dominating teams unless it's something like the E25 when it was first introduced.
My experience so far with T18: 1. Kolobanov's medal earned in Province. 2. Drive-by thru the alleys and chokepoints of Himmelsdorf 3. Ammo'd another T18 with HEAT. 4. One-shot T1 Cunningham from the other side of Province. It was a blindshot. And in 15 seconds. The guy in T1 said gg and appreciate my skill. I was a tomato back then. The crew? 50% qualification.
IonKattTMCE Half the maps are gone because people whined about one side having an advantageous position and not having a mirrored position on the otherside.
Yeah, this tank was ridiculous. Imagine if we had a vehicle nowadays that was impenetrable to all but premium rounds, with a ridiculous HE gun capable of practically 1-shotting enemy vehicles if it penetrates, or just shredding them for huge amounts of splash damage if it didn't... Oh right, the Type 5. Except it's at Tier 10 instead of Tier 2. And has a turret. And more armour tier for tier. And the second largest health pool in the game. Huh.
i literally couldnt pen that thing in my t9 medium. i tried the lower plate, the upper plate, the sides, side of the turret, cheeks of the turret, the commander hatch, literally no where i shot would pen with non premium rounds.
Actually I really dont think the Type 5 Heavy is overpowered, because of its high, but still easily penetratable armor with premium rounds. Since only Tank Destroyers can penetrate it with non-premium rounds, everyone else is forced to use premium rounds. And when like 2/3 of all the players constantly use Premium rounds on you, its actual purpose vanishes. Premium rounds can easily penetrate the armor of the Type 5, because most Premium rounds have a penetration of around 300 in the high-tiers, therefore its not much fun to play it. And on open maps you can practically quit the game directly after starting the battle, since this thing doesnt have any camo at all. Arty will nonstop shoot you, which makes this tank absolutely useless on open maps.
It was removed way after WG introduced cremium ammo, gold spam was already a thing back then. But most beginners at tier 2 haven't even yet learned about different ammo types.
@@jukahri what? you sure? i started in 2012 but i remember premium but you could only spend real gold to buy it so it wasnt as bad back then, not really played wot properly since 2016 and the games changed so much now
7:40 “Man, these kinda tanks...we’re looking back on it, it makes you realize that when people think about the good ol’ golden age of World of Tanks, was it really the good ol golden age? Eh, you know what? There were some aspects about the game back then that were a hell of a lot more fun than there was now. But, you know, that’s going to be with everything in life. You have those kinda ‘Oh in my days, things used to be better.’ You always remember when things were fresh and exciting at the beginning. You remember the more fondly… It’s hard to say. Obviously for me, personally, World of Tanks is not quite as exciting now as it used to be because that thrill of picking up a new vehicle. You’ve been there, you’ve done that, and now it’s just case of “Oh, how does this tank differ from the other 3-400 tanks that I’ve played in the game.” But for all of you new players out there, I hope the game’s exciting right? Maybe it is. Maybe it’s not. It’s hard to say.” -QuickyBaby, December 2017. This is perhaps the most clever and insightful commentary of World of Tanks I've heard in a long time. As a player who's been in the game since 2011, I personally relate to these words...
I think it's still exciting when you're new. I wasn't here when this version of the T18 was around, but it doesn't sound like the good old days to me. What fun is it when you know your tank has little chance to pen and the other guy can one shot you? For what it's worth, I did play the tier III SPG version. It's fine, but not terribly remarkable. It does seem to have somewhat better armor than other low tier SPGs I've played. A few shots don't pen. And I've had Pz 1 C's try to ram me and die in the crash, while you survive. That was fun.
i remember playing against it in a T7Car and getting behind it and shooting it perpendicular on the back plate and still penetrating only like every 5th shot
The derp on the KV and the 85mm on the T28 were my favorite tanks to play back in the day. Sniping was out of the question but you could do hilarious things to other players' HP pools.
Most engagements with these were at close ranges, where the accuracy doesn't hurt it. It was one of the speedier tier 2 vehicles, at the time, in addition to it's other advantages, so they would almost always rush to the front lines, instead of hiding and sniping, like most other TD's do.
Back in 2012 the game had some super fun tanks: T67 with 370 m view range, hellcat before nerfs, tier 6 kv1s, T40 at tier 4 with 400 m view range, m8a1 at tier 4 with 370 m view range. Those tanks were super fun. I never got into the T18 clubbing and skipped ahead to tiers 4-6 for my clubbing needs.
Do you guys remember the good old days, when you were tooned with your buds in 3 T18's with binocs, camo nets etc on that map Province...lol those were some of the most brutal seal clubbings I have ever been a part of.
It was only fun for the dirty seal clubbers. If you were going up a different line, it was no fun at all. Anyone who enjoyed playing in these, has psychological problems.
This was very interesting. I got into WoT about a year ago and had never seen this T18 tank before. What an interesting look at the past I never knew happened. Thanks for the video!
When I first played the T18 as a new player a few years ago, I was like "Is this armor even legal at tier II?" When facing Tier IIIs this tank destroyer would still struggle against most enemies, but when it was top tier, it shined. I originally didn't think it was overpowered because I played it with the small pop gun until I discovered the 75mm Pak howitzer a little later. When I mounted that gun, I was in heaven. I enjoyed using the armor to my advantage and the gun to wreck house, however I didn't use it as effectively as I would have now. Back then I was not that good of a player and that lead me to become so overconfident that I was flanked quite regularly. Eventually after I gained my first Tier X vehicle and gained some new found experience, I re-bought the T18 post-nerf and found it was still viable as this replay just demonstrated. The T18, before I discovered the low-tier French tanks/T67, had the highest kill count among all the tanks that I had played (at 10 kills, the only high tier tank that I had a comparable battle in was my E-100 at 8 kills - alone against 6 enemies - found on my channel). I was sad to see the T18 go as it was truly one of the best tanks that I had ever played and had a playstyle that was to my liking (at least at the time). I realize, after the abominable Chrysler GF and the other powerful Premium vehicles that came on the scene; that the T18 needed to go. Although I understand the decision to re-purpose it as an SPG, I do not understand the decision that Wargaming has made recently by giving us such vehicles that are more competitive, arguably, than the tanks a free player could ever research while putting such competitiveness behind a paywall in order to fill SerB's and the Russian's pockets. These kinds of vehicles are ruining the game for me, especially since I am still grinding to my end goal in tier X for many nations. I try to get better, but due to wallet warriors and gold spammers, such feats of the old days are less possible to achieve in regular tanks. What's worse, despite the reformation of the Matchmaker, many people including me see little to no change at all in how a battle plays out. True there are no more 0-15 defeats in NA, or at least reduced occurrences, however ROFL stomps seem to be more common as me being the one stomped instead of stomping the enemy; despite giving my all to carry my teams to victory. I know there is more for me to learn in this game, but I had thought my skills bordering on 1600 WN8 Recent would be enough. Unfortunately I currently underestimate the overall intellect of the playerbase in NA servers and as a result I am at a loss as to how to continue to have fun with a game that is becoming more and more unwelcome to those who want to be competitive without spending the money now required to stay competitive. SerB and the Russians have given us free players a choice: either pay to win or, at least, be better at the game or be prepared to lose, despite putting in a lot of time and effort to improve yourself in the game.
I’ve not played this game in a few years, but I still watch the occasional qb video. Watching this made me remember the dark times, of 7 arty either side, laser guns. And when arty had tracers, and the good ‘ol hellcat. And +-3 matchmaking. I miss it. Nowadays, the game is too saturated, too many people, too much gold spam, gold tanks. Everything is gold- automated report system; making reporting useless compared to the original time when actual people responded. These new maps- the old maps; port, old sand river, north west, serene coast, dragons ridge; overlord is cool ‘n all, but still. The only map I’m glad is gone is that one with a centre island and campfest woods to the east. I miss the good ‘ol days, as it were- Wargaming became too big, money became their drive, not the game. I miss it.
I remmber when I started playing this tank...absolutely amazing!Fun at lower tiers. But then I quit Wot from 2014 and started again in 2016 so a 2 years break!Quite a lot of changes in the game then. When I saw my garage,i first searched for Pz II,then for T7 Car and then for T18...but T18 was no more in the garage.I went to my stats and T18 wasn't there neither. Finally checked the tech tree and saw the T18!But it was different....it was a tier 3 SPG....I searched for an answer for ages but no result....and now Qb came with a video.THANKS MATE!And the same situation I had was with the Province-one of my favorite maps. Now I just hope they won't take away my other low tier fun tank-Hetzer.
I really miss old days cuz there was a meaning of having skills. Nobody was able to gold spam or HE abuse and there was actually a meaning of Heavy class. You could break-through flanks like Swats are breaching doors etc. Today you either get penned by some gay heat/gold or eat a derpy he in the face then spend the rest of the game hide behind stuff. Nice armor mechanics Wargayming...
Mazaker lol. Then explain how the meta changed? Not like WG switched Gold ammos from gold payment to high priced credit eaters yeah.. People are suddenly decide to spam the gold werent they?
Ayberk Tiras The gold ammo change is in the game for 5 years now and i play the is-7 for those years too and in 2014 maybe 1/4 shots was gold mostly from tier 8s now im happy if i see 1 ap shell from a tier 10. The is-7s armor is still the same and the gold ammo isnt better than in the past. But yeah keep blaming wg thats what you always do.
Ayberk Tiras i just see your 49% winrate, telling my argument is bad but you bring no argument at all and insult me yeah go play your t67 and shut the fuck up yourself.
Noticed the enemy team had two t 18's and they didn't do squat!!! So this tank was OP for many but like any powerful tank learn how to play against it. I'm so tired of tanks being removed or nurfed because a few whine and complain cause they do not adapt. That is one aspect of this game that has me playing it less and less.
Talk to Artillery drivers about it. Used to LOVE playing Arty. was so much fun being able to 1-shot tanks with Artillery. Now? "Oh, I 'stunned' them for 10 seconds. as they rushed me.. Welp, 5 seconds later I'm dead anyway because Arty STILL can't defend itself." Only now it can't do any serious damage either. Utter bullshit.
chronus, no tank is idiot or bad luck proof. The T18 was OP, but you could still have a bad game in it. With the T18 the 'how to deal with it' was good teamwork (at tier 2?) or just dont and run away.
The funny thing is actually that the T18 and T57 always had been misplaced at birth, so to say. T18 is a howitzer for support fire, while T56/T57 had the 3inch gun that was meant for anti-tank combat (later found on the M10 Wolverine).
Now the E25 has gone on sale for a laughable £42 bundle QB can talk about it in his next video. They know everyone wants an E25 so they shove extra bundle stuff on and put any price on it because everyone will pay anything for an E25. I myself would love an E25 and I'm actually contemplating getting one. I have no moral soul. But then I guess WG is to blame for putting it on sale in the first place, not the players.
I've got the E25, and it's a piece of shit now! Power creep, deforestation, and corridor maps rendered it almost useless in most situations. All it's got now is a slowly fading aura of fame still lingering around it as a reminescence of its former glory. You're better off buying the Strv S1, or the Tier 8 Chinese TD. But if you really want to play an op vehicle, just use a T8+ russian medium from the tech tree and spend your money on Premium shells, instead of buying a below average Premium tank that used to be great 3 years ago...

Producers and consumers are of equal blame in situations like these. Big businesses get away with anything because consumers constantly pay them for it of their own free will. Season passes, DLC, pre-orders, special editions...if people didn't buy them they would not exist - certainly not to the degree they do now, anyway.
This TD was really OP before its hull traverse rate was nerfed! It was worse than the dreaded Pz 38H because you couldn't outrun it (in most tanks). I learned to keep my eye on the minimap because I realized that if I wanted to a) survive, and b)kill the T18, I had to know where it was before it came into view. If you were looking at its front, you were dead! Waiting to take it on in a duel was fatal.
I dont want to be salty or unnecessary negative but the fact that QB spends so much time looking at WoT in retrospect says a lot about the game at present. QB has always appeared very positive no matter how weird WG have acted. I sense his retirement soon. He also has had enough
He hasn't had enough of making money, dude... don't kid yourself. He makes his living playing this game. Most people's job sucks and they work it anyway.
Actually the lower half of tank(not only the lower plate) was around 30mm so I had quite the fun countering those tanks with the pz. ll which have 33mm pen on the autoloader
I miss the tier 6 Kv-3 with the long gun. Sold it after they moved it to tier7 as it just wasn't effective at that tier. When the kv1 and 2 were the same tank with a turret swap, those were the days lol Especially the kv2 with the zis7 that gun was troll at tier 5 of course the derp gun too is still troll lol
The KV at tier 5 with the derp gun was hilarious, I grinded seemingly forever to get that thing and it was my favorite tank until they split it out. As much as we all like to reflect on the old days, we all need to admit that at least the matchmaker isn't nearly as broken as it used to be--KV with derp matching up with T3 tanks was ridiculous.
It was truly wonderful when the T7 car or the Light VIC were both released and everyone played those, everyone other than the sealclubbers who were basically immortal in T18s when the enemies only had their little machineguns... Good times!
Some of my fondest early memories of this game are catching T18s sitting in the open, completely confident, and chewing them up with my brit 6-pounder gun.
Forgive this for lack of detail but this was years ago. Also this takes place on sand river. Once, long ago, I fail platooned my T18 into a tier 6-8 game. I kept jokingly saying I would kill a tier 8. Well after sitting behind my team and sniping HE shells at tier 6 tanks I managed to kill an old model KV-85 with 20 HP left. The rage was glorious. However toward the end of the match I followed my platoon to the mountain where we got ambushed by I wanna say a T34 American, and some tier 8 light tank, well my platoon mates dies in seconds leaving just me. I hit being the dead tank to avoid the T34, but the light tank was coming around the back, I turned my T18 as fast as it could go, fired, and got a lucky pen in the side killing the tier 8 light. The T34 then killed my but that's my story of killing a tier 8 in my T18. pece m9
I started playing WOT on a very old laptop with no mouse - think track pad. The T 18 gave me enough advantage to overcome my technology impairment. Had I not had that advantage I'd of likely stopped playing the game.
Loved those games way back with the T18. What was that map called, with the deep valley in the middle and the 2 monestaries on the right and the 2 towns on the left( if you spawned on the right)? Province? Golden days for sure! Aaaahhhh.
I didn't even realized that this tank had been removed since I was gone for awhile, but this was my favorite tank back in the old days. This was the tank I got my first 6 kills in and raelly got me hooked into the game for awhile.
Was the T18 over powered, yes it was, but it was so much fun to play. Everyone who started WOT a few years back survived the T18, then got their own. Please bring it back.
I remember one of the weirdest things about it, other than it was so op as to be a posterchild for the term, was that when you were fighting it front on your first instinct was to aim for the lower glacis, cause on almost every tank the lower is thinner than the upper. Thing was it was much easier to get through the upper glacis than the lower or the casemate. I've never encountered another tank like that in the game.
To be fair, each team had two t18's but none of the others had so much as one kill. Also, as I hope people aren't stat padding while seal clubbing, maybe if you have more than 10 or 15k games that you can't play tier 3 or below (unless it's with a vehicle you haven't previously played for at least 100 games). Conversely if you have less than 10-15k games you can't play above tier 7 or 8. It's painful to see someone playing a tier 8 premium with less than 1k total games in high tier games.
Sean Inness I have 3-4k games and my T34 with 700 games played has a 56%wnr and 1900 wn8. Most 30+k games players are still potato or average. Still, you have a very good point, but i guess the ranked system is here to fix the difference in players skill level.
Those stats would make you the exception although, per your description, you've played about 20% of all your games with one premium vehicle, which gives me pause. I agree that there are a lot of people (now) that have 30+k battles that are terrible. I'm really talking about people that have WR's between 40-45% although I'm irritated by lots of players whose WR's are between 45-49% (a lot of them with 20k+ total games). There is no perfect fix or one that doesn't interfere with Wargaming's need to monetize the game to the bitter end.
10-15k games is absolutely ridiculous to block even tier X. I have 8k games and I've been playing since release, with multiple tier 8+ unicum wn8 tanks. Some people don't have the time, or need, to play that many games to be skilled enough to manage higher tiers. I agree it's painful to get a 0k battles, 91 wn8, T34 as your top tier heavy. Something like having to play 100 games in same class tank one tier lower should be enough to qualify someone to buy a premium tank, since that's about the experience researching a tech tree tank would be providing. It only took me 43 games in the T20 to research the Pershing, finished with around 3000 wn8. Then you need to ask if it's even worth the bother with the restrictions set so low? Unfortunate spoiler, it's not. Which is part of why there will never be a restriction.
Again Chalko, that would make you an exception rather than the rule. You only have 8k battles and have been playing since release? I basically played all the vehicles coming up. I didn't have any tier 10's until I had played almost 15k-18k. I still only have 6 tier 10's and I have about 35k games. Usually when you see someone with less than 10k total games but they have a tier 10 or even a couple, are re-roll accounts and/or they have thrown substantial money at Wargaming. Tonight was particularly bad. Only 18k players on central NA server, playing tiers 6-8 with people that had less than 5k total games and they were miserably bad, 47 or 48% WR at best. Played 5 games, all losses and called it a night.
Sean Inness I have 5 tier X tanks, 3 meds, 2 heavies. I'm definitely not a reroll haha most of my first tanks I bought have terrible stats, I just caught on the the game quickly. I'm thinking Nov 2011 would be the creation date on my account, that's close to release considering that it was over 6 years ago. I still regret he day I bought a Lowe instead of a type 59.
I played WoT since CBT, and of my 27+k battles played and in not a single one of them was me driving this garbage truck. Why garbage truck? There's always some piece of trash inside and it smells so badly you can feel it from Himmelsdorf, even though it's on Malinovka.
You would not believe the number of people who would defend this tank whenever someone would complain about it in the forums. There were even a few devs who would come online saying it was working as intended, so deal with it. New players didn't want to play anymore because of this thing.
I remember this tank I was a new player and I was playing this tank so much because it was so broken but then they removed it so i started playing the KV-1. oh well...
...and have you noticed how much more accurate this cannon than the present ones? That's all that WOT has changed over the years ... (and the more and more unplayable maps)
How did I deal with it? British Tier II or III light tanks with the 2-pdr and binos. Boy did T18 seal clubbers get salty when you just chew through their frontal armor from range.
I loved this map at tier 2. It helped me learn the basic mechanics of the game. This map and Province were great with tier 1 and 2 tanks. It made the Tetrarch relevant. :) It seems like they keep trying to ruin the game a little bit at a time with their changes by removing or restricting maps; by changing the matchmaker to a set of strict templates. WG just keeps chipping away at what makes this game fun.
If you didn’t get 4+ kills in the t18, that was considered a bad round. Lol
be real, if you did not get 6+ kills in the t18 you let your team down
Zachary Norton for me i think i got 6+ kills in maybe 1 out of 10 games in the t18.
Sounds like a derp hetzer in a good matchup game
What about 15 t18 on your team
@@jblob5764 you should always play the hetzer in his derp configuration :D only exscuse is that you still havent researched it. xD
I remember T18 on province.

that top right corner of the spawn. either side. i had many 10 kill games.
before getting it i was lucky to get 1 kill a game. my first ride and i got 3 kills.

Bismarck Der Teufel there are still more than enough OP Tanks in WoT. Hetzer, SU85, KV 1, KV 1S, KV 2 all have good HE guns and with HEAT, they have good pen too. I do miss the game though, but an actual competitve game calls me. Wots can't be anything but casual till its no longer P2W.
I play blitz... in that game the matchmaker is more balanced no SPG and IS is op but russian bias is waaay less
Bismarck Der Teufel the definition of the defender and skorpion G
You don't get it. The paywall prevents many players from buying premium tanks. Giving away an OP tank for free is a disaster. Every tier two I ever played was dominated by T18's on both teams. I rarely ever see a single premium tank dominating teams unless it's something like the E25 when it was first introduced.
My experience so far with T18:

We need old KV-1S replay!
he has done this month ago.
KV1S was so over powered it was the only tank ever where I got more than 7 kills in. Sadly I sucked when I played it so my average stats are shite.
KV-1S was too powerful that’s why it was removed, I had it and every round 4+ kills
Oh my God that was my favorite tank
or the old KV where it was the KV1+KV2 in 1 tank
Ahh the good old square render range. After the 'circle update' pretty much every map was broken...
Some Thing wait really? Is that why I dont see so many maps now? Havent played the game in months then I came back and half the maps are gone.
IonKattTMCE Half the maps are gone because people whined about one side having an advantageous position and not having a mirrored position on the otherside.
Will be re released for 120 Euros in the not so distant future.

Oh right, the Type 5. Except it's at Tier 10 instead of Tier 2. And has a turret. And more armour tier for tier. And the second largest health pool in the game. Huh.

KillaPanzer lol
Huh....deja vu.
Oh, like the Deathstar? or the Type 5?
V Epsilon yeah and they said the waffle e100 was bad... #bringwafflee100back
Fair play for not putting 15 kills in the title. Respect dat.
It's nerfed version of T18 from 3 years back? Ok, I feel old now.
McThar98 if 3 years makes you feel old, you’re a little child.
Arram yes, what about it?
it was a tier 2; TYPE 5 HEAVY.
i literally couldnt pen that thing in my t9 medium. i tried the lower plate, the upper plate, the sides, side of the turret, cheeks of the turret, the commander hatch, literally no where i shot would pen with non premium rounds.
M S you literally couldn't maneuver to its side.
Nowadays the "fantastic frontal armor" would be penetrated by everything anyway thanks to the goldspam.
Yes I am aware this is tier 2.
It was removed way after WG introduced cremium ammo, gold spam was already a thing back then. But most beginners at tier 2 haven't even yet learned about different ammo types.
The goldspam problem grew in intensity with time, and my comment is about how bad it got by now.
It’s hard to say.”
-QuickyBaby, December 2017.
Shit quicky. You gave me some Post T18 Stress Disorder. Not cool.
Hugo Ljadas Is it bad that I laughed at that?
Just as bad as you make it out to be.
I still loved jumping in that tank from time to time to have some low tier fun. R.I.P. T-18
It's still in its original state in blitz, though all tier 1-3 health pools were buffed last spring so you won't see it one shooting to many tanks
Don't forget about the glorious t82 derp wagon
miss playing that t18
Dem Stalin guided shells (kv2)
Ah yes, the T18....Back in the good old days.....When WoT was still fun to play.
Jip agree, now its just a waste of time
Yeah.... played the beta test and played up until 6 months ago. Can't stand this game anymore.
don't forget about the t82 (and that 75 mm is extremely inaccurate (it's the same gun on the t3 hmc
Blake Rodgers the t82 is the only tank that was more op than the t18
S.J. Adema it's getting overused all the time in mobile
I remember getting behind a t18 in my t2 light, killing it, then feeling like a hero
I know that feeling
Lol especially if u are using a T7-car
i remember playing against it in a T7Car and getting behind it and shooting it perpendicular on the back plate and still penetrating only like every 5th shot
I started playing back in 2011, The T18 was my first tier 2 tank and I always loved it. RIP T18
I always loved the T-82 myself. 105mm derp + that crazy speed and turning
(pre-nerf)
I remember this, back then we called it "The Lunchbox of Doom"
i never heard that name xD lol
Lol just like how they call the t82 the "derp wagon" or the Pz.Sfl.IVc the "toaster" or the good'ol bathtub "S35"
Blake Rodgers Lets not forget the tier 9 T95 Doom Turtle TD and the tier 10 FV215B 183 Death Star
Now it is the box!!! Tenk!!!!
I always heard the microwave of doom
The good ol’ days...
This thing had the deadly, laser-like accuracy of the KV-2 ;)
Derp guns are fun.
A Hellcat Video would be awesome. It was such a great tank back in the days.
basti19basti it was used in Tier 8 team battles as scout xD
basti19basti it still is
The hellcat in modern wot blitz is just about the worst TD you can get in the American line.
King Wolf the T28 Prototype or the T110E4 (imo) are the worst tanks in the American turreted Tank Destroyer line.
Basically a T2 Type 5 Heavy. Can't pen it with standard rounds and it has a huge derp gun
Thank You all, was a pleasure playing! :D
Aint no way it was u
Do u even play wot now
T18 is more like Deathstar of tier 2.
O the goolden age when op tanks werent premium and not at tier 8
haha thats soo true
Man, I used to play this tank so much when i started the game, it was so fun. Now looking back, I was really a big fat noob XD
The best seal clubber was the t 57 tier 2 artillery before it was changed. It had amazing armor so you would just shotgun with it
And people say the wt e100 td is op but think again lol
QuickyBaby please make a video *"Why the E25 was Removed"* !
Oh wait... 🤔
FireStick Cz OP shit 😂
FireStick Cz OP shit 😂
FireStick Cz OP shit 😂
And they are fucking selling it again. Ffs
Back in 2012 the game had some super fun tanks: T67 with 370 m view range, hellcat before nerfs, tier 6 kv1s, T40 at tier 4 with 400 m view range, m8a1 at tier 4 with 370 m view range. Those tanks were super fun. I never got into the T18 clubbing and skipped ahead to tiers 4-6 for my clubbing needs.
t40 before last nerf was blast, really a powerhouse !
Do you guys remember the good old days, when you were tooned with your buds in 3 T18's with binocs, camo nets etc on that map Province...lol those were some of the most brutal seal clubbings I have ever been a part of.
Norman Blankenship I'd say you should be ashamed if I hadn't done it myself
Norman Blankenship Boi do I miss that map
Didn't even need binocs. Most players hid in the same bushes over and over. Recon by fire was my favorite thing on that map...
account should have been banned.
I sure do miss my old T18 on Provence
Provence! T18 and MS-1 as a sniper ... great days!!
first tank to give me 5 frags... giving happy face to a tomato
Brings back happy memories - T18s in Province. WG wasn’t happy having players have fun with tanks like these because it’s not profitable for them.
Ode Imaginations whichever team had the most t18s won the game and there was a notorious camping map which made games a living hell.
Pz 2 was/is also insanely overpowered though. I feel like pz2 is probably the only t2 tank that could stand up to a T18 and possibly win
It’s still in game as an arty.
try the pz 38h (f) too, quite an op thing to have in your garage, although it doesn't have the gun nor the mobility of the t 18 x)
what about H35? werent that thing also a seal clubber
It was removed because it was OP and wasnt russian
BOSs 13 is this tank British?
@@N3K0553 American
and wasn't premium
the 11 or 12 seconds of reload time is as an arty... it used to have like 5 to 6 seconds of reload
maybe he meant Rounds per Minute, it would fit at least :D
And the E-75 being a medium...well for german tank weights it might as well be!
+8bpspfreak2 yes you are probably right
When I first played the T18 as a new player a few years ago, I was like "Is this armor even legal at tier II?" When facing Tier IIIs this tank destroyer would still struggle against most enemies, but when it was top tier, it shined.
My little time playing world or wartanks i enjoyed the T18. I didnt know they removed it
It was practically a tier 2 T95 with speed
I miss it.
My favorite Tier 2 back then when I was a New player stuck at tier 3 tanks. Gosh the memories back then
Having played WoT since 2011, with a few breaks, its great to see the old game play and vehicles.
i really enjoy your work QuickyBaby, keep it up.
For some reason you're in the the playlist "All Kurzgesagt Backround Soundtracks"
Ayberk Tiras Its not really wgs fold its the meta it changed
Mazaker this was single handedly the most retarded arguement I’ve ever encountered.
Ayberk Tiras i just see your 49% winrate, telling my argument is bad but you bring no argument at all and insult me yeah go play your t67 and shut the fuck up yourself.
The T-18 was lit, now I only have the BT-7 arty to fill my sadistic, low tier, one shot-ing feelings.
True, it fills the derp feeling but doesn't have the strong armor to feel like a god.
Max Moons it's a great troll tank
I remember these good old days with the t57 and t18 got 12 kills in my best game in a t18 and 7 kills as t57
Back in the day when shots didn't diversify so much from the middle of the aiming circle...
The good old Legendary tier 2 Death Star ☺
I got mine as an event tank on the north American server. Real easy event too, anyone who tried would be able to get one, even players as bad as me
I've got the E25, and it's a piece of shit now!

Season passes, DLC, pre-orders, special editions...if people didn't buy them they would not exist - certainly not to the degree they do now, anyway.
now they did this with the panzer II J.
I dont want to be salty or unnecessary negative but the fact that QB spends so much time looking at WoT in
retrospect says a lot about the game at present. QB has always appeared very positive no matter how weird
WG have acted. I sense his retirement soon. He also has had enough
He hasn't had enough of making money, dude... don't kid yourself. He makes his living playing this game. Most people's job sucks and they work it anyway.
When u feel bad for playing a op tank.......then you face Russian heavies......... doesn't feel bad for using op tank anymore
The HMC version is still pretty fun (not OP) to play, because it's one if the few artillery that can actually pull off some bounces.
Bruh.
Actually the lower half of tank(not only the lower plate) was around 30mm so I had quite the fun countering those tanks with the pz. ll which have 33mm pen on the autoloader
Dreadnought's Nightmare same. Another thing with the Pz II was that it couldn't be oneshotted frontally lol
Good times!
I loved the old T18 it was one of the best td, i mean the first T18 before the Traverse speeds got nerfed.
The T34 then killed my but that's my story of killing a tier 8 in my T18.
pece m9
Devon™ Ziegler do you have a replay? It seems really cool to watch
Sadly I don't, like I said it happened 3-4 years ago on my old potato.
Don't forget the T40 at tier 4 with the pre-nerf 105mm. Shredded ass and actually earned a scout medal with that thing
Why do we need the T18 now, when we have the E25, stat padder, seal clubbing tank?
MrScrosb we have t67 for stat padding
No comparison, E25 is ok at best in skilled hands.
I started playing WOT on a very old laptop with no mouse - think track pad. The T 18 gave me enough advantage to overcome my technology impairment. Had I not had that advantage I'd of likely stopped playing the game.
Maybe thats the best thing thay can do to the type 5 heavy, change it to arty the same as t18
That's now exactly 6 Years ago to the day... I remember playing it when I began playing WoT. It feels like yesterday...
Loved those games way back with the T18. What was that map called, with the deep valley in the middle and the 2 monestaries on the right and the 2 towns on the left( if you spawned on the right)? Province? Golden days for sure! Aaaahhhh.
Wacky Tabacy Provence I loved that map
reloading got a bit wrong in 4:35. I think Quicky means DPM, not reload secs... :) time edit...
QB plz "top 10 moments of this year"plzzzzzzzz!!!!
I loved this tank and am so sad it’s gone. Fun, exiting, pure force.
Quickybaby pls do the same for the T-50-2!!!
I didn't even realized that this tank had been removed since I was gone for awhile, but this was my favorite tank back in the old days. This was the tank I got my first 6 kills in and raelly got me hooked into the game for awhile.
It wasn't that scary once one knew the upper hull plate was garbage.
Was the T18 over powered, yes it was, but it was so much fun to play. Everyone who started WOT a few years back survived the T18, then got their own. Please bring it back.
in the past I got 10 kills one time with this tank! (My record)
SetraFX me too
SetraFX wow you suck
Yes it was overpowered. I got 11
Not hard to do. Put the howitzer on, and your one shotting things every 6-7 seconds. Adding 50mm hull armor and stupid good mobility...
Got 13 kills a couple times believe it or not
I miss T18 and those battles Where there were half of The team fully T18 td’s
This is how I feel in my SU-76i sometimes.
Do a "now it's nerfed" for elc... We all wanna see it when it was a great tank
New players didn't want to play anymore because of this thing.
can you make a video of why T57 spg was removed. i also seal clubbed with that tank because i sometimes use it as both SPG and TD and mostly TD
The T18 was a beast. With binos and a camo net you could absolutely rule Province
I remember this tank I was a new player and I was playing this tank so much because it was so broken but then they removed it so i started playing the KV-1. oh well...
T18, Hetzer with 105mm, old KV with 107mm or 152mm at tier V, SU-85 with 107mm... .. I remember many many op tanks lol :D
I think i have the most succesful game with the T18, i managed to get 5 kills with it ( on my own teammates )
...and have you noticed how much more accurate this cannon than the present ones?
That's all that WOT has changed over the years ... (and the more and more unplayable maps)
How did I deal with it? British Tier II or III light tanks with the 2-pdr and binos. Boy did T18 seal clubbers get salty when you just chew through their frontal armor from range.
I’ve taken a break from WoT, and I didn’t expect this
I miss the good old KV1-S :(
I loved this map at tier 2.
QB please do a T-50-2 replay if you have :) Good ol speed demon
Considering the enemy team had 2 T18's, I would say that Diverzg did some good work here.
Well, I remember when I've got 13 kills on the B1, I think, definetly was filled of adrenaline lol xd
OMG what a great flashback! we would platoon three of those things and wreck everything dirty tank that showed their face. great replay QB
