Considering that Limited Run Games is notorious for taking their time to ship stuff, i think that taking your time to open their packages is appropriate
Limited Run Games are idiots for taking exclusivity to some of these games' physical releases.
Wouldn't be surprised if they took some of their own stock and had their own designated scalpers.
btw they have a physical shop, but I'm not sure how many collectors editions they store in their shop.

How long you've had these games sitting around is about how long it takes for them to ship games now.
I know you haven't been super explicit about the life changes you've mentioned making lately, Adam (and I'm glad you haven't been, that's totally your own private info), but I just wanted to express a bit of 'congrats' to you for doing so. Complacency is a an honest adversary when we're faced with needing to make hard life changes, so I commend you for taking the more difficult path and seeking betterment rather than stagnation. I'm cheering you on, friend!

Got my first and probably only limited run games game recently. Night trap for the PS4. Played it for an half an hour and moved on

Wow that was a trip down memory lane, with some very early releases there. As someone that’s been on the LRG since the early days I’d forgotten about some of them.
Kero Blaster is a great little game, very primitive looking, but a lot of fun.
Dude, even Sonic is on Switch, so Night Trap on Switch is sooooo unexpected 😆

21:15 bro! “Tumble” Weed Park is basically Monopoly as a survival horror game where you play as the *thimble*
The other characters like the car, dog, top hat, etc. are either unlockable or NPC. Power-ups come from Community Chest or Chance. Their version of the BFG is named “Boardwalk” and it becomes OP when you equip the hotel attachment

Damn, u had some REAL EARLY Super Rare Games releases in there.. Shelter and Flame in the Flood are actually worth a fair bit now
This whole video is such a throwback lol, all stuff I used to buy back in the day, now i maybe order 2 games every few months from LRG, they release far too much now, and there’s no more Vita which is what I was actually collecting every release for 🧐

yeah this one video probably includes more worth than my entire collection! Limited Run (especially switch) games are so stupidly expensive sometimes... other times they don't ever seem to go up in price, but they at least never go down in value.

looks like roughly half of them was those monthly bundles they'd sell that feature different versions of the same game (usually 2 games per bundle). Never gotten one of those myself... at least they all come in one small box!

I do know some of these! Cosmic Star Heroine I had on Switch. heavily inspired by Chrono Trigger but one fight near the end of the game (or I'm assuming its near the end) kept softlocking randomly so I never got around to finishing it. super hydorah's a gradius-like! don't have it yet but may pick it up at some point, looked fun if you dig shmups. only other one I recgonize is the flame in the flood, I think my wife played that one? got it free on steam at one point but never really got around to it so IDK how it is.

From all the games in this video i own only skullgirls for the vita, sadly not the limited run game’s release but i got the japanese version from buyee and it’s support english. Got the game because I’m a vita collector and right now i trying to get every fighting game that got released physically on the vita.
From the video its look like you got the 2018-2019 LRG releases because all the games have esrb ratings unlike pre-2018 releases that don’t have any esrb on the boxes.

Well the good news is that some of that stuff is super valuable if you wanted to just fund some more travel. I have gotten rid of some of the more pricey Limited Run stuff because I was like - wait a minute.. I don't even LIKE these games. FOMO got to me. I'll still keep some stuff like my Chex Quest box, Sigil signed by John Romero, and all my night trap ones.

I was kinda into LRG, specifically for PS Vita. I did get a few of the earlier Switch games, but decided that it wasn't fun anymore, lol.
The only one I have left (sold 'em all) is Va-11 Hall-A on Vita, which had the best box art imo

Lethal league is a BANGER. The sequel is a little bit better but I'd definitely recommend playing both. It's like a mix between dodgeball and smash bros
never was into LR. I just buy the vintage in ex cond. on up and they've always gone up in value n stayed fairly liquid.
I also reamanber howerad saying we are looking at the dam box as we stack someone under it's remanded age is in a Toy's R Us buying this game and one is saying anything.
Well, Adam, that if you want to know of any others of them that are special as well, then right after that that I did check out a few of the others, and here’s what that I could find out about these very few of them, and I pretty much can’t wait to get them as well after all:
1. Future Unfolding - Judging from its official trailer, that it’s very much indie from its look and sound and it’s mostly about animal spirits, like I thought it would be, but I can tell why that others might not be into it, with its even more so top down view.
2. Antiquia Lost - Judging from its trailer, that it’s basically Final Fantasy combined with anime, which is still interesting, but it does both look and sound good otherwise.
3. Iron Crypticle - Judging from the gameplay shown with RealGenericDemon, that it really is like Smash TV and Bubble Bobble and Ghosts ‘n Goblins all in one, and thankfully its prices only in eBay are pretty much reasonable these days.
4. Sky Force Anniversary Edition - Judging from both its trailer and its first few minutes of gameplay, that it does greatly seem like either 1942 and/or 1943 from the original Nintendo, but now on the PS4, and then also with its better looks and sounds and backgrounds, only with it also being one of those recent flying games with the collectible items flying towards you.
Lastly, that the other reason I like to get the PS4 versions of these games these days is that I know that with their Blu-Ray disc scratch resistant/scratch free technology, that it does help to save a few of the games from the past, like with Symphony Of The Night in Castlevania Requiem sort of recently, but still needing to be careful with our other choices of platforms with them, since that with the older games in Castlevania Anniversary Collection also sort of recently then being for Nintendo, that it would be best to get it for the Switch with its similar control scheme, huh ;^). >Danny

Thimbleweed is the 1st Switch game by LRG I used to order games but the shipping costs to Europa really suck. It was better when the USD was worth less but now it's no Longer the case I think.
lol yeah, that interplanetary shipping is SOO expensive nowadays!
@@pdraggy it's not only the shipping costs there's also import taxes it can add up if there are more games that your interested in. I recently ordered a game from PlayAsia which was 50$ but with shipping and taxes it was 70$ it's fine if you want one game but if you want more.

Damn that tumbleweed park game is like $200 for switch right now.....its crazy how i bet some of those games are worth between $100-$300 right now.....i enjoy the vids and your sega dreamcast collection is epic i wish i would of kept all my games i just kept systems

Curious Adam, I know you're pretty anti-digital downloads generally speaking, which is a big reason you aren't into PC gaming, for example. Obviously Limited Run games has helped mitigate this issue, but there are still many indie games that are digital only due to certain circumstances. Does this prevent you from checking out certain indie games that are unable to receive physical distribution? How often do you play indie games in general?

LRG are a bunch of unlikeable degenerates, but they did put out a handful of good games. Since they fired that employee recently for personal tweets of a (very tame and reasonable) political nature, I wouldn't give them a dime.
