I like this movie but I feel like if Kate had listened to her dad’s idea in the first place and not lied maybe they would have made to the destination and saved everyone way faster. Then she doesn’t realize that her brother will be alone like how she’s felt this whole time
@@hgmd3284yeah, i always think about this whenever people say "if this character made this decision it'd have been so much easier" but like...people don't always make the "correct" decision, and obviously things need to happen for there to be a story, so if a character does something dumb it's not always because it was a mistake.
I also really love this movie. I’ve rewatched it not too long ago and now I consider it my favorite film from Sony Pictures Animation and one of my favorite animated films in general (especially in recent years). It’s very cute, hilarious, heartfelt, pretty action-packed and just an absolute fun riot from beginning to end. It’s another recent example of the purely imaginative experimentation of Sony Pictures Animation. They’ve really come a long way since their first film in 2006, Open Season. What do you all think?
I also love it, but also elon made it irl edit: mOm i'M fAmOuS - a person I hate actual edit: thanks for the likes, it is possible for an original comment to do well
❤😂This film and Klaus,spiderverse1,Nimona,Last wish and The Wild Robot are the best animated films in last couple decades. love how the medium and storytelling keeps evolving.
I adore this movie. Its an all time favourite and i laugh manically whenever i see the mom scene where shes going ham on the robots. Its completely uncontrollable, it just happens
This was a pretty nice movie, I enjoyed every part of it! But, i find it pretty funny you put video game songs in this review, I was really suprised when i heard ``Finale`` from Undertale and that one minecraft song
Saw it last year on Netflix and didn't expect to like it as much as I did. Cool animation, funny (the robots were the best) and a cool emotional journey.
I'm not sure if that's Rosalina's storybook theme or not that"s playing in the background at around 27 minutes and 21 seconds into the video but its a song I extremely enjoy ever since in my childhood and even now, well very great video enjoyed it very much.
This is really the most legendary movie I've ever seen in 2021, from the plot to the characters, especially Pal, who in my opinion is such an amazing villain of the movie. It was really the fact that this movie had a better representation of technology and AI in its current state, and this movie goes to show how our society is just a mess when it comes to AI.
The moment I first found this movie, I watched it with my friends at a sleepover. I went on to watch it with my family directly the next day, ending up watching it three times in two days.
My favorite character personally is PAL, it's a pretty great antogonist and also a very tragic character, i think PAL is a very underrated character, i want to see more of her! I want to see a sequel where she's redemed! Now i get now Sony is working in other projects but i would love to see a sequel where PAL gets a redemption arc, please Sony! PLEASE!
33:04. That is most certainly not moose for “I love you.” It is rather rude, what he said. This moose will not translate, but does suggest that this dad learn more moose language before he says something worse.
honestly, I really liked mitchells vs the machines. it was quirky, it didn't take it to seriously, I'm pretty sure it was my first experience with horror, and I really liked the robots because of their similarities to GLaDOS. it also got me into filmmaking!
It has its bad things and its good things. But cause its about a teen (mostly) leaving family its great for some older kids too! Can sometimes still be funny. It also was pretty sure the first movie to do the 2D to 3D animation style we also see in Puss in boots last wish.
This movie is just everything turned to 13: the old jokes, the criticism of electronics, the quirk, the running jokes, the animation, the old family drama…
the only reason i remember this movie is because of some edit of katie almost dying with an 8-bit slowed down version of your love is my drug as the audio lol it was an alright movie. i don’t remember if i watched it in theaters.
Me and my sister loved this movie since release, sure it has its cringe moments but i hink thats what its about ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ families are whacky cringe and everything inbetween, idk i love this movie and nothing can really change my mind :PP
I loved this movie, I whatched it multiple times, I didnt hear about it. As someone who has trouble fitting in and socialising I really liked this film and could relate to it
It was a pretty nice movie. A bit too much "superhero" stuff in the final showdown for my taste, but hey... it's animated. They needed something epic for some viewers I guess. Until the final showdown, it was exaggerated but somewhat believable. The whole flying around and not immediately falling to your death part... not so much.
I have mixed feelings about this film, like it's one of sony better animated movies but............................... its no intro the spider-verse with characters and humor!
i would't really compare them since they are infinitely different of course i really like into the spider-verse and the animation is amazing and better than Mitchells vs the machines but this one resonated with me a lot more i could relate and put myself in the shoes of Kate, in some ways i liked it a lot better than into the spider-verse
Back again, and hate to spam but I would love if you reviewed Bad Ben 7: The haunted Highway. It's so bad it's funny, it even had a game made after it. It's not even the only movie there is, there is an entire bad Ben series with horrible acting, bad plots and even worse CGI. I love it so much, please please PLEASE review Bad Ben 7: The Haunted Highway
I genuinely tried to find enjoyment in this but i was grasping at straws. Instead of seeing the potential get used, i saw cringy 2010’s “quirky” humor that made me genuinely recoil a little to the point where i got completely turned off from the movie and had to quit. Its a real shame since i see so many people who absolutely loved this movie, just really isn’t my style.
I loved the lgbtq representation on this movie, we need the animation guild to partner with lgbtq and women and black community to go on strike to have more representation in their content and get rid of the whole culture war fanatics that they’re ruining America in the wrong way
And it was done RIGHT! Not taking the center stage, not the focus of the characters, just shown as a part of them. Just treated as normal and accepted.
I think there’s a lot to like about this film, but a few things fall really flat. The main character is probably neurodivergent, but she acts like a 12 year old; the family is described as dysfunctional, but they barely have problems; an Internet-based entity not knowing what a pug was makes no sense given its a meme; the fact that the parents were written as out of touch boomers instead of Gen X (story dynamics very dated); the plot requiring a very specific location to access the Internet despite having hundreds of other options; robots capture every person in the works except one family who hid in a dumpster… If the movie ended with this being a plot to one of MC’s cringe movies, I think it would have gotten a full pass from me, but it just felt really juvenile in a bad way despite good voice acting, good jokes and amazing animation.
I didn't care much about this movie because it was way too cartoony for me to take seriously, to believe anyone was in actual genuine danger. And I did not care one bit what anyone from the family was going through, because I was too distracted by the annoying family tropes that should have died two decades ago. I'll watch _Ron's Gone Wrong_ over this anytime.
The movie is a definition of: "This plan is so crazy, it might just work."
@germans_lol7259 Lol yeah

People aren't easy though. Kids lie to their parents all the time, especially when they feel like they aren't supported
That’s the art. It’s a chaotic mess of opinions and adventure.

It is a great movie but did you forget about Spiderverse?
Well of course not. The Spider-Verse movies are also animation masterpieces as well. They’re also among the greatest Sony Animation films.

Personally, like this film .. just thought it was overrated lol. Seems like some say they didn’t like it now, which would change the over part
I agree. Movie was good, but my gosh, did the cartoon 'reviewers' overhype it too much.
How did you know I’ve just rewatched it?!
This movie is amazing. From the art direction to the characters to the everything else it’s just simply inspired

Honestly this was a Great and Fun Movie that I wouldn’t Mind to Rewatch It More
man i miss open season is just an old childhood memory that come out 18 years... but the movie will not get a sequel now
Dude, open season has a few sequels. Including a Halloween special
That movie is like a fart in my memory
Please do A Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio review.

This is why we must reject captca so when this happens in 8 years we can have a slight chance to defeat them.
Is this a compilation or a review with thoughts not present in the originals?
Hasn't this movie already released? For a few years?
Yes, at the beginning he says that it's reached its 4 year anniversary
I don't think it was mentioned but this seems to be a compilation of multiple videos
