I have always been a Tolbers camping fan you are one of the best TH-camrs in the campervan camping videos. But the no talking just got me to the point I couldn't watch the whole video. I hope this isn't the new way of your videos, because you were always a great talker during your videos. Please dont get me wrong it wasn't the videoing or the items that I couldn't finish it all it was the sounds that were really popping and when you talk I don't notice them as much. You still rock Matt just please don't change what you have been doing.

Thanks guys, this was my first no talking video and plan to do a few in the future but most my videos I’ll be talking as thats natural for me. It was a very relaxing video to film though, definitely enjoyed my time out there.

Brand new fan here. I thought it was a nice change of pace from other channels I watch. This video gave me the day to day camping vibe while also low key advertising. I thought it was a good video. The whole time I'm trying to look into the woods just in case bigfoot was out there in recon mode

the whole atmosphere was so spooky, the night walk with the sounds howls breaking branches and the moon just set it off loved it!

Beautiful night walk, the moon was nice. I kept thinking Joel was going to show up. But those flashlights you have are insane. I kept hearing all sorts of branches breaking. Big foot was definitely walking around 🦧😮. Congratulations on the new van. Nice

Hairy friends in the woods following you and letting you know. Do not fear. That’s the worst thing you can do. Stay calm. They are curious about you because you are becoming aware. Native here 🙋🏻♀️ love your solo camping videos. Wait until you have a large tree break or two. That will wake you up.

I like to cook a steak or chicken or sausage at home before I camp. I take 3 squares of aluminum foil on top of each other, place cooked meat, small boiled potatoes and frozen vegetables on top layer wrap like a burrito. The other 2 wrap loosely for use as plate or extra. Place in freezer at home till time to camp, place in ice chest when you go camping. Unwrap the 2 loose sheets of aluminum and place food in the camp fire or grill or pan with lid. Therefore making more time for camping activities and cleanup is a lot easier.

Matt, your vids are my guilty pleasure most evenings now. Watching you makes me very zen and chill. I vicariously do the same things through you, but I'm trying to talk my BFF into SUV camping with me. She has a Tahoe and I have a Dodge Journey. I think we could be quite comfy. I have ALWAYS loved camping since I was a kid, and I think it would be the perfect remedy to help me unwind on the weekends.

" To tote the Rabbits I reckon" but watching your videos took me back we spent a lot of time camping in the woods and going to Crystal River camping an night fishing...do you ever spot Rabbits and other animals out there? At least you stayed with the #Dodge family, lol. I think you’ll get a lot better use out of the higher suv. It can go places the van probably couldn’t. I love my Ram 4x4. Maybe get a small utility trailer so your stuff can be in tow to save cargo space, or a hitch cargo shelf. I love mine. Here’s to new adventures! #Congrats on the new addition. Really love the new vehicle. It seems to suit all your purposes. Window coverings are an absolute must for me because I just KNOW that Bigfoot is standing right there beside the vehicle looking right in at me while I sleep. Saw you for first time today -- God bless you and keep you safe in your adventures. I live in northern Maine and love hiking and snowshoing. I'll be 81 Dec. 12, 2023. God has allowed me to be active and walk a lot. Appreciate prayers for healing after tumors removed couple months ago.

This is how i camp to. My gazebo tent looks almost identical. And i camp out of my 2005 Toyota Sequoia. Which is an amazing camping/overlanding vehicle by the way. And i thought i should add . . . the only dangerous thing in those woods to be concerned about are ticks! 😄 i hate ticks
Thankfully ticks have a very short season here. Generally you don’t have to worry about animals messing with you, but still not the best idea to go solo strolling through the woods at night. I like to live on the edge though, so enjoy the thrill. We do have wolves, bears and the occasional cougar.

At the end of August i took my dog camping about 5 miles from the truck and we were watching a bull elk and after a few seconds the elk took off so we walked a few steps and it was a grizzly bear about 30 yards feom me that spooked the elk it was almost pitch black dark by this time so i didn't want to hike any further and bump him again in the dark so we set up camp on top of a ridge and it was so windy my tent was touching my face all night it was kinda nerve racking lol

I lived in a hollow one mile from the nearest neighbor and as a teen walked down that dark empty road without a light of any kind ....i heard plenty of sounds in the woods but never gave it a thought.

Just so you know, that was only an owl. They sometimes make that high pitch screech before finishing in a hooting noise. I have heard them in Louisiana where I’m from, and the first time I heard it, it scared the crap out of me
Potentially, there was so much mixed sounds I couldn’t tell forsure. Off camera I heard a bunch of coyotes just before that howling and barking when I was changing the battery on my headlamp so figured that was them again. There’s so many coyotes in that state forest, hear them and see their tracks in the snow all the time. Thanks for watching!

You need to try fishing in this lake.
You could have buy a bigger van and do a custom build for yourself. So you can have a mini office including cooking area and bed too. That my opinion. But love watching your adventures
