I traveled to Mysore for 3 days under ₹7k, beyond its palaces!
Mysore is known as the "country of the royals," and home to India's second-most visited tourist destination - Mysore City Palace. Mysore however has so much more than its palaces, and this trip was a revelation for that.
From the untapped territories of the Sri Venugopalaswamy temple, to exploring the origins of Mysore Pak, to even experiencing my first solo kayaking at Varuna Lake. This trip has been an eye-opener for how much Mysore has to offer, and how much there is to unearth about this wonderful city.
Some must try things are the dosa at MTR, Sarsa Parila Juice at Brahmin Soda, Chamundi Hills and solo kayaking at Varuna Lake
Best time to visit Mysore is definitely between October - March, however try visiting in its off-beat months to beat the crowd.

Well covered documentary. However I feel there was an omission. The water sports at varuna lake is conducted and the place is so well maintained by a firm called outback adventures. This firm was started by a couple of young hardworking adventure enthusiasts turned entrepreneurs. Such a venture and set up is the 1st of its kind in Mysore. This should have been mentioned. You could have maybe included a soundbite of them describing the place as well.

Lots of love from Mysore❤️,plss do visit our city during dasara time i.e Navratri, u'll get to see food fest, street fest,flower show,and many more , along with the above places mentioned in the video if one is willing to travel an hr from Mysore you can visit many places like Talakadu,himavadh gopal Swami hills,B R hills,Somanathpura and many more places in the city also,if ur planning to visit Mysore then during navratri is the best time bcoz u'll get to experience many things.

I appreciate your efforts and sporting spirit. However, you didn't realize the extent of Mysuru city. Namma Mysuru is not a small city as you said. It is the second largest city after Bengaluru, with the "Greater City Corporation" in Karnataka. The Mysuru is now "Greater Mysuru". As it is not chaotic as other larger cities, some people judge it as a 'small city'. Thanks to the well planning of the city made during the Wodeyar monarchy.
