That's a sweet machine, all you need. In Canada they are already more expensive than the Can-am top of line. And the next gen is out in May 2024? I read in your comments, dam it. Happy Spring :D
In europe we have handbrake near throttle - engage it when parked, or enjoy awful beeping sound. Seat was also rigged - stand up while driving and it would sound a beeeep - nevermind, just unplug and bridge the connector under the seat
Yeah I did that recently and beeping sound is gone when I'm not sitting which is great. But sound still comes on every like 20 minutes if machine is off and hand brake is not on
That's pretty dang good! All the other brands want $8-10k for a similar machine. Lots of folks disregard CFMOTO, I think they're crazy. They are by far the best value out there. $3k difference can go a long way.
Thanks for the review! Thinking of getting my girlfriend a quad and these are new to me and reviews like this is what i need to make an informed purchase. When i grew up, yamahas were the budget but quality, could get a grizzly 550 for 5000 to 6500 dollars. Now theyre like you said, 8k and approaching 10k and thats just way too much for a mid sized quad. Id want a 800cc or more for that price and higher quality at the very least.
Thanks. It's hard to beat for the money. I'm not 100% on how well reliability will be compared to a Japanese ATV. I've had one issue already with the rear diff having a small leak (bad seal is my guess). Also, if you buy one from a dealer. Make sure to ask about the break-in service and how much they plan to charge you or if you can get them to do it for free. Part of that service is having to check the engine valve clearance. It's a pain!
Good review! I'm curious about how your tires are preforming? Are you satisfied with the tread pattern? Any info would be helpful. Cheers from Western Canada! 👍😎🌞
Thanks! To be honest, I don't have much experience with other tires. Big horns and itp mud lights are the extent of my tire experience. I don't think they are as grippy as the mud lights or big horn, and the lateral traction up front isn't the best, they do slide a bit. Over all not bad. I run 5-6 psi usually. I'll try and touch on them a bit more in a future video.
I just received my CForce 400 2023. My biggest dislike so far is the break-in that have to be done on the belt and engine ! The second is the shifting... I got a tractor that I need to jiggle a little bit so it goes in, but the CForce 400 require heavy movement so it goes in... My dad 10+year old Canam isn't as bad as this Cforce to shift.
Nice review, I keep going back and forth on getting a 500, still watching the issue others are having with that rear diff seal to see if theres a recall, thats my main holdup on them. Funny you memtion the Kodiak 450 that's the other one Im looking at, base models are $6899 and thats no eps, mechanical 4x4 cable, and no handlebar mounted headlight.
The shifter needs to be adjusted. It's an easy fix, just take off the panels and adjust the linkage so that the shifter stays dead in the middle of the slot in N. Mine was slightly towards forward so it was more difficult to get into L but after adjusting is just fine now. Here is an example on how to get to it: th-cam.com/video/q8ANp7xoxMQ/w-d-xo.html
You're right. I probably could adjust the linkage and it might make shifting into Low easier. However, I don't think it will help with it binding under tension from being on uneven ground.
Don’t worry! If it’s a CFMoto, they will take good care of you depending on the dealer but CFMoto is very very good about taking care of issues under warranty. They have a great warranty

Bought mine for $ 4999 today in MN brand new, zero miles, from dealer. What a great deal. $1200 rebates. Great value.

What dealership did you get it from.
I live around Clear Lake MN and am looking for a cforce 500.

where are you videoing? looks like a cool place to ride....wondering if there's ATV trails to ride where you're at in the video.

I definitely think they could have done better on the shifter. Enjoy your new ride!
Great video! Does the winch have cable or synthetic rope?
Thanks, it came with steel. I did a video on changing it out to synthetic. Haven't had to use it yet.
Strange, in Sweden we got the winch with syntetic rope.
They are getting some decent reviews
So far I'm happy with it.

I haven't heard that. Good to know, I'll have to keep an eye on it. The 500 is definitely worth a look, IMO.
I would spend a little more and buy the Kodiak myself
I like the machine but the only complaint is the plastics get really hot and I rapped the muffler but it still gets hot
I wear boots and pants, and I personally haven't noticed any heat riding trails with it being around 90°F.
My 600 overheats pretty bad.

Mine is just under 500 miles and going to the dealer for top end noise. 😒
Dang.. That's no good. Let us know what you find out.
@@RideAlongOutdoorsCh.will do. They can’t get it in until the 21st though..
