    Man I'm glad you made this video. I'm really liking the new Cforce 500 but this video really did it for me. Really loved intake locations, the axles and suspension components look to be on par with other manufacturers, the ECU had Bosch written on it, and the entire air-thru cooling design they did with the front grille/vents behind it. If this bike does become yours, you should do more videos like this. Be really nice to know where all the grease fittings are, maybe film doing an overall service on this bike (fluid changes) and include that in it. Can't wait to see how y'all build this machine and beat the snot out of it!

    I just bought a new stock carry over 2023 CF500, I really enjoyed the set up you showed. I really learned allot about the machine that I know will benefit from. I have limited knowledge of the brand but I have owned several other ATV's, both Polaris and Honda. I would say this rides the best, the power steering, winch, and other included features are awesome and it is far less expensive then Polaris, Honda, and Yamaha. I also love that it comes with a 1 year warranty, I don't ride as much any longer so have the extra months means that next spring if I have any issues it will still be covered. Great job on the video and thank you posting.

    You can’t go wrong with one of these units! I picked up a gen2 cforce 400 last week and have nothing bad to say about it! Took it straight from msc to the deer camp and put it to work! Everything works flawlessly! The machine is beyond capable in any situation and you won’t believe how comfortable it is! So far I’ve got 4 hours on it and I’d buy another one right now! Cfmoto is the way to go!

    Love the videos and have been watching them for a while. I bought a 500, a 600 and just had to go buy a 1000 overland a week later. Love these quads! Just learned an important lesson last week..... was riding with the girlfriend and a couple younger grandkids and kinda gauged fuel consumption based on my 1000. We got back just before the 5 and 6 hundreds ran out of gas. Should have known the capacity difference but spaced it. I also have a x3 turbo rr and a rzr highlifter 4 seater in the garage but really prefer riding the cforces. What a ride

    Awesome video! I just brought my gen2 cforce 500 home last week and after watching your video realized my dealer has the shocks on backwards. Got to looking after realizing the front end sits a bit higher than the rear. Only ridden a bit so assuming it won't hurt anything? Guess I need to have them fix it when I take it back in for the plow and hitch receiver install.
    Edit: Called dealer and they told me that it was "impossible" as the shocks come installed out of the crate. Gonna use this video as evidence otherwise 😅

    • @SpartanProWashOwner
      @SpartanProWashOwner ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine were backwards too. I switched them myself as I questioned the ability and knowledge of the dealers maintenance department. My lug nuts could’ve been taken off by hand so it was good that I did it as I was able to torque everything to specs.

    Heads up, FWIW. We bought a brand new CFMoto 500 less than a year ago. Since the beginning it has had the typical "Doesn't shift into Low without grinding the gears unless you shove hard on the shifter and wiggle your butt fore and aft". Embarrassing when you stop to talk to somebody and they comment on how nice it looks then it grinds the gears after you shift into Low.
    So called my dealer about it today. He told me I have to firmly push the shifter all the way forward and then firmly right into it's slot. Then shift my weight fore and aft to make it go into Low. Like that is normal or something. I don't have to do that with other vehicles. Then, even though it's still under warranty, he said that if they had to adjust it there would be an extra charge. (?????)
    He had no idea I was the guy that was in recently looking at their full size tractors. That kind of 'service' moves them way down the list of places I'll be buying a tractor.
    Otherwise, the machine has been great. Other than a fuel pump that sometimes just doesn't come on when the key is turned on. Unless you fiddle with it a bit.
    Again, a great machine except for those small details.

    I have a 2022 cforce 1000 and I'd say my biggest pet peeve is getting the cover for the air box and the body mouldings over the air box back on. There are those clips on the air box cover itself and two of them are incredibly difficult to get your hands in a position to put enough pressure on them to snap on. Then those rubber plugs are hard to line up. As a matter of fact all but one are now broken off on mine because when I thought they were lined up I pushed on it and they snapped. That being said, the two slide in tabs in the front and the one push rubber tab in the center by the seat do an amazing job of keeping is secure and looking right. Point being, cfmoto can do a better job for people who aren't mechanics and need to do this type of work in their home garage. Other than that, love the machine.

    We just bought one of these for my daughter. Build quality is fantastic, ride is pretty good, and thw price was right. Only concern we have, is it seems to run hot. Its always on the bar right before its overheating. Have you all ever experienced this?

    • @RealTalkPowersports
      @RealTalkPowersports  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that is perfectly normal.
      That is the normal operating range.
      I’m not sure why the CFMOTO engineers set the temp range to be at that bar instead of one more bar lower.
      But it’s normal.. and as long as it goes through the heat cycle and the fan comes on and then off every so often then it will be fine

      This is totally my personal opinion on this topic.. but I have noticed that CFMOTO has chosen to be very conservative on their “Specs” or “Numbers”
      As where other manufacturers try to really Stretch the limits to claim as big of numbers as possible… cfmoto remains conservative on their spec sheets.
      From personal experience, I’ve never had my cfmoto ATVs not be able to handle anything that my other Polaris and Hondas could.

    Is there a Gen 2, 600 and 800 with the better heat shields?

      @RealTalkPowersports  ปีที่แล้ว

      No.. the current 600 was redesigned in 2020 so I imagine it will remain the same for a couple more years.. and the 800 and 1000 will remain the same for a couple more as well

      The one in the video is a 2022..
      But the 2023 will see no changes other than a different color option

    who have interest in a 500 or a 600? no one it is the 1000 who are interesting!

      The 500 and 600 out sale the 1000 by a huge margin..
      I am personally most interested in the 1000 but I’ve got to show some love to the smaller bore ATVs too lol

    "WE do it for the people" nope... 🤣 you get not the main panel on so you make a cut 👍 2/10. You don't use a torque wrench because not all people have one... of course but if they don't know how tight is tight it doesn't help. You steering the atv with this peace of pipe it is absolutely important to use the torque spec 0/10. People think professionals don't use a torque wrench because they are professionals... no professionals use all the time a torque wrench because a professional work or build ist the consistency and perfection on every step every part.

    I just watched you assemble a blue Gen2 is 500. I’m still waiting along with a lot of other people who own the 600s on how to take the plastic off of them so they don’t have to take it to the dealership to put their spark plugs in. What is taking so long? I’m becoming a real unhappy subscriber to your channel along with a lot of other people. Just can’t understand why it takes so long to show in detail how to take the plastic off the 600s. Mike Holmes
