Cool video :) Actually, there's a path (10 meters away from the cliff), that brings you even higher. Putting up a tent up there when there's no snow is pretty easy, and the 360° view is stunning !
+MrApexy Yeah my day job is to make video content so I use my skills here with my travel and adventure passion. Glad people are noticing :) It does take ages to make a video!
You are correct. The steps are just on the other side of the fjord pretty much so Bam and I visited both. Our original plan was to hike around the whole fjord...but that was wishful thinking given the conditions and our preparedness. But there is a folktale of a guy who did it under a day, worth a google, his name is something like ‘Pilt Ilka’
TREADER TUBE you create very awesome and positive videos (at least the ones I saw). Keep doing that. Wish you millions of subscribers and lots of positive videos. I slept once on pulpit rock as well, next goal to sleep on trolltunga just in sleeping bag )
Thanks Jan 🙂I'm nearly at 11k subscribers so only a few more million to go, lol! But make sure you head to Trolltunga because that'll be an ace place to sleep!!
Hi TREADER TUBE, I will be hiking up and camping on pulpit rock end of August. Any advice or tips you can share? I believed we are allowed to camp up there anytime of the year? Tq
Hi Chelsea FC, Bam and I went out of season so we were lucky to have the rock to ourselves but there's approx 3 million visitors to the rock each year so around August you'll probably have to share with a lot of people. There's also a ranger/park service that comes to check (and move on) campers on/near the rock due to suicides. I was told that people choose to jump off it and so there's regular checks.
Thank you. By the way is it allowed or legal to camp up there? Is there soft ground/grass surface where I can pitch my tent besides the hard rock surface?
Hi TreaderTube. This trip looks amaizing.i am scheduling the same next Sep and wondering about the appropriate camping gear. What tent did u use? Thank you and good luck for channel!
Hi Gareth, it was March 2016. Verrrrrry cold. BUT very quiet. So a good trade-off if you come prepared. Definitely get yourself a very good sleeping bag
Great videos! Very interesting and inspiring!!! Thank you!
Awesome views!

Is there any drinkable water nearby the pulpit rock?
No, you'll need to bring enough of your own
Was this filmed in march as well, or deeper into winter?
