Exactly right that's how I also see him. Ever so cool and selvaware, never in doubt that things will go his way eventually. Mentally very strong.
But he is just coming into his time in big leagues. He needs another year at Atalanta before heading to a big club.

Great video have to disagree with the weakness’s though, maybe fair to say Aerial duels could improve if we are talking headers rather then bringing the ball down. Most definitely he contributes on defence and shuts down strikers and the goalkeeper fast all 90 minutes as Atalanta like to press in their attacking half most games

Strengths and weaknesses are so messed up, honestly: he works so hard defensively, and he's always the first to run up the opposition line and start the pressing; at the same time, he needs to improve A LOT in the finishing, which surely is not his selling point.

Does he ever head the ball, looks like he fits a counter team who are good in transition.
He is actually okay in the air, that is something that can easily be trained if he wishes to. He is tall and fast, so a few months with a rigorous schedule should make him much better in the air. CR7 supposedly has one of the best training schedules for that in the world which he admittedly said that he isn´t training anymore, perhaps Højlund could give him a call.
Imagine the speed difference, from someone who is slow (weghorst) to someone who is truly fast!

Also on dribbling and shooting with his right foot ? united already have a player in our squad that is way too dependent on his left foot, we don't need another one.

Aerial duels weakness? Now that's not good for a 6'2 Striker.
Nevertheless it is the truth. A strength not mentioned though, is his obsession to constantly improve. Something that very well could result in a markedly improved aerial duel skill.

Everybody jumps on the hype train... The kid has scored seven in 23 league games. Hardly impressive. Scores five against Kasachstan and Finland (none against France and Croatia) and people think he's World class. Hats off to his agent.
He has not played 23 league games, he has coming in from the bench in many of the games. And if you have ben watching all Atalantas game’s in 2023, you would know that he’s the one who’s able to change the game on he’s own, he makes the difference in most of their games! And no matter who Denmark is playing against Rasmus will make a huge difference to the team and to Denmark’s chances to score and winning in the future!
@@denmark2680 Apart from Lazio he's only scored against lower table teams. Finland and Kazakhstan are rubbish compared to France and Croatia whom he didn't score against.
To be fair, against both france and croatia, he was subbed in at 59/60 minutes playtime. And against france dk was up with 2 goals already. So it leaves the 30 min against kroatia, where you could hope for more.
@@pawldo10_45 I have seen Rasmus playing many times maybe he isn’t anything special to you and just an average player in your mind, but to me he’s definitely something special and I’m 💯% sure that Højlund is something special, but only the future can tell who’s right or wrong.
