Herman Basudde died on 11th June 1997 in a motor accident while heading to his birth place in Masaka. Every June we celebrate his life. This year we spoke to Ssalongo Emmanuel Sekidde -his half brother - who narrates Basudde's journey to fame. (PART TWO) Enjoy the story.

I think the government through the ministry of culture should take on the kadongo kamu genre and make sure it doesn't die. Because I believe it's a national treasure.
