How wonderful to see your new glider and the reward for all your hard work and contributions to the soaring community. Congratulations, Stefan. A really great achievement!!
So awesome that you are flying the as33 Stefan! I have between 250-300 hours in this glider in MSFS 2020. Super reliable, and such a joy to fly. I´m looking forward to your adventures in this beautiful machine.
Thank you for your time today and the information. It was a pleasure talking with you and seeing your brand new plane first hand.Enjoy your new plane and wish you many successful (competition) flights!
Just flew my first SOLO flight earlier today (yes on a wednesday lol)! Thank you Stefan for being a major inspiration through my pre-solo flying adventure, and onwards!
I’ve been following you for a while now and I can say you deserve it.. so much you share, so much effort put in your videos, lots of hard work..and all, for free, and with passion! Congratulations man 🎉 I think it would be so nice if you could do a video talking about prices for these modern electric and non electric gliders.. it’s always a bit of a gray area when it comes to prices. Thanks a lot and keep up the awesome work. 🚀
I would be interested in a video providing more details on the avionics package in your new glider. Ie specific details of radio, transponder, any external gps encoder, ADS-B out. etc.
I use a Air COM radio, VT01 transponder and Air Control Display. There is GPS connected to the transponder for ADSB out but no official GPS encoder. Also looking forward to share a video about the Air Avionics booth and there new transponder
I wonder how the ESC will perform in the 100f heat and 9000' DA in places like Minden? In Texas you will be down at much lowers DAs for takeoff and climb.
@@SteFly Keeping the avionics topped up from the main HV battery is actually a great feature! How often have those old 8 Ah batteries (about 0.1 kWh) gone down after a long, cold flight with XPDR use... No more! That main battery should be good for at least 2 weeks of heavy avionics use 😂
Yes, would be interesting to know how it compares to the Ventus 3 and JS3. Not sure if it really helps at the end because in turbulent and dynamic conditions the different gliders may behave differently. This summer my AS33 will be in the USA for WGC, so I will get a good comparison there ;)
@@soaruk3697 That may of course be the case, but the question was whether it could (only) be financed through this TH-cam account, that is the only thing the "Impossible" is referred to.
two different glide ratio this glider has. with stef, without stef. there is no opt value :D have fun with your new toy mate. don't go near tornados please.
Great new glider. It was interisting to hear that the batteries are in the wings. I Recall some time ago Schleicher had given up on wing placement of batteries interisting change.

Thanks you so much for the continuous support!!
I'm bringing my "Captain Joe"-Stickers for the final finish ;)
Careful with the extra weight with that buddy😂
Was great meeting you at our creator lounge!!

Congratulations Stefan. That is really exciting!

Awesome.. congrats! Luv the panel and interior colors. I would have chosen something similar.
Thank you! It’s not easy to make all the decisions
I can it wait to see the new light grey paint scheme. I love the winglets. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, then it should look perfect :)
That is beautiful! Just awesome. Can't wait to see video of it in the sky.
Thank you very much! I‘m also looking forward to finally fly my new glider and share it with you 🤙🏼

I don´t think the ESC will be a big problem but time will tell.
Congrats!
Can you tell us exactly what the Larus display is. I could not catch the name of it.
At the moment it´s still a prototype. The 90 degree rotated Air Traffic Display on the left side next to the big navigation screen.
I love ❤ to watch your videos.Good luck 😍

You mentioned a competition in Texas, what was that competition, when is it and where specifically in Texas is it?
It‘s mid of August in Uvalde
@@SteFly thank you
Greetings from Sweden
Happy soaring

Warum fliegst du noch nicht mit dem Flugzeug sondern nur mit der ASG
Kann man in das SteFly für Wolkenflug einen künstlichen Horizont temporär einspielen?

How big is you Batterie to power all These Electric Instruments
8.6 kWh 😂

The real performance of the AS33 has not been measured yet.
If you lend your glider to Idaflieg this summer, they can measure it.

Wow, Stefan. You f*****g made it!!!
🥳 congrats!
Just one quick question: Are you able to afford this only due to your TH-cam account already? :)
Impossible. That's a ~ 300.000€ Glider.
@@REFORGER_2023 Maybe he shares the glider with his father and brother (I believe they both glide) - the ASG-29 was shared with his brother........
No!

What is the price ????
Depending on the version abaut 250.000 euros

Did you have to sell one or both of your kidneys to buy this beauty ;)
Congrats, looking forward to your future videos with this wonderful ship.
Haha, I just googled how much you get for a kidney. I think two would not be enough 😅
