14:31 for me. A few little tricks that stumped me for a bit. Nice puzzle!

27:29 - i don't think it was as hard as i made it out to be, but i'm still finding my bearings compared to you geniuses... i still have to get used to proper snyder notation etc... thanks for your insights, i appreciate your detailed "proofs"

49:10. It took a while to find the pointing 7's, but that pretty much sealed it.

That was more of a medium puzzle. Just over 17 min

This may have already been talked about, but when I use your link - my pencil marks are randomly disappearing when I'm solving

This happens to me as well on mobile only though

@@dbz3773 yes it's only when I'm on mobile too. Only started happening maybe 4-5 days ago

I use an iPad and it happened to me several times recently and it’s frustrating to see the pencil marks as well as cells that have been already solved disappearing.

This is a known issue that seems to have been caused by a Safari update. Even if you don't use Safari, all browsers on iOS use it under the hood. Sven is going to try to fix it but it's tough because it's a browser bug not a coding issue.

Mmm, if only you could resist the temptation to do all that marking, you might find things easier with a bit of working memory and no clutter (57 = row 5 column 7):
    57, 36, 54, 53, 89,
    95, 59, 79, 58, 51,
    52, 31, 27, 73, 71,
    18, 38, 91, 92, 88,
    78, 97, 75, 66, 86,
    96, 65, 24, 13, 23,
    19, 29, 25, 22, 35,
    15, 34, 12, 48, 68,
    44, 64, 47, 67, 41,
    42, 33, 81, 83, 11,
    37, 17, 32, 61, 45,
    84, 85.

I feel you may lack some perspective on the goal of these videos and my content in general. The main aim of my videos is to be instructive. I want to help people who are new to Sudoku, and they need to be able to follow along and learn. Many people have told me that my approach has been very helpful, so I feel that I've been successful there.
Everyone's brain works differently, and as a result, their approach to solving something like Sudoku is also different. Using working memory and minimal marking may work for you, but in my experience, this is a fairly rare ability even among experienced solvers, and especially rare in those who are new to solving. Showing my process visually through marking is more effective for the majority of my audience. If I just sat here saying "use your working memory" and filling in digits, it would drive most viewers away as it would be impossible to follow and would not be very instructive. It would be a completely different kind of content where the goal was to impress rather than educate.
