So much to love about this! That beautiful butterfly, i've never seen that kind here in my country. I love the half indoor-half outdoor kitchen, i love the earthenware/clay pots! We used to have them in my country (I'm from the Caribbean) but they seem to have disappeared 30 years ago, I've never seen them being used here in my country. And I love the traditional mud clay stove too. And the outdoor metal stove, it reminds me of a Coleman camping stove. And the coconut ladle and the tray boxes for the spices. And the playful bickering between the brother and sister, lol! And of course the food! The luffa dishes look so delicious! I've never seen luffa/ridge gourd grown for food here, just only as loofah sponges. Didn't know the skin could be eaten, I thought the skin was tough and bitter but look at that eh! I wonder if it was brown rice or bulgur or a special kind of quinoa that they were served with? Well, this was certainly delightful to watch and now I know how to make luffa meals🙂🤤

One reason why I love your wonderful videos so much is because I see so much of our own Guyanese culture in them.I remember my beloved grandmother cooking in a similar way. Luffa hasn't been in my menu until this video. The way you display the cooking is nothing but elegant. Much simpler yet extraordinary display of Srilankan traditional womanhood. So much to love about this! That beautiful butterfly, i've never seen that kind here in my country. I love the half indoor-half outdoor kitchen, i love the earthenware/clay pots! We used to have them in my country (I'm from the Caribbean) but they seem to have disappeared 30 years ago, I've never seen them being used here in my country. And I love the traditional mud clay stove too. And the outdoor metal stove, it reminds me of a Coleman camping stove. And the coconut ladle and the tray boxes for the spices. And the playful bickering between the brother and sister, lol! And of course the food! The luffa dishes look so delicious! I've never seen luffa/ridge gourd grown for food here, just only as loofah sponges. Didn't know the skin could be eaten, I thought the skin was tough and bitter but look at that eh! I wonder if it was brown rice or bulgur or a special kind of quinoa that they were served with? Well, this was certainly delightful to watch and now I know how to make luffa meals🙂🤤
