I remember listening to this remix way back when Generator Rex was still airing. I'm glad to see that it's survived.
I always associate this part of the song with the shot in the season 1 finale of The Pack skulking down the hallway of Providence. The music gives me the feeling that something evil's coming your way, so you'd better start running.
For me its mix of fear and "hidden plan", something like you know, he already planned your steps ahead.
