You can tell Parker thrives in smaller crowd concerts, those are the best. Bigger venues, he is a statue.
On festivals, they are more focused on sharing their songs, might come as a surprise, but they're not AC/DC. And when you're on a festival, hearing a new band where the singer just throws it out for the crowd, not really a great experience. Other than that, yeah, it's a totally different vibe. Can't compare stage diving shows. That being said, he killed it at the blink tour.
Other than that, you can note that he stays more still on the harder songs, but god damn he sings it perfectly. Big Blind and Proper Dose are such highlights.

I saw them way back in the day, he was still good back then but the more chill performance helps him sound 100% better. I care way more about sounding like you do on the album rather than how energetic the performance is

I do prefer intimate shows - but both types are cool and have their place...saw BMTH in January and damn those production values were awesome and the whole thing was really fun. But yeah, I prefer a few hundred people in a no barrier venue for most shows haha

yes but not on the stage, as a prior musician it got tiring having people jump on the stage and stomping on your pedals, modellers, etc. That crap ain't free.. barely 1:00 in and the guitarist gets smacked in the mouth with the mic.

I got 14 minutes into watching this thinking "wow, usually Story Of The Year plays more of their older stuff, I haven't recognised a single song yet.. actually come to think of it, this doesn't even look like Story Of The Year..." It took my dumb ass 14 minutes to realise this was The Story So Far. I've also learnt today I fucking dig this band.
That's actually the same way I was introduced to them, they're my favorite band now.
Parker sounds great. This is one of his better live performances I’ve heard.

I remember when The Glass came out as a second single. It was fucking surreal. Everybody and I mean everybody involved with pop punk or the warped tour scene was the #1 talked about thing at that time.
The Glass is my favorite song of all time. I literally want to hear it everyday and never want to skip.

One of my favorite bands for over a decade now. It's so refreshing to see them do good everywhere they go. Wish I was there. They deserve these crowds.
I went to 3 blink shows during this past European tour and it was just me and a few other people actually enjoying ourselves when tssf played. So seeing this makes me really happy.
Just imagine how proud they must feel to go to another country with a different language and their people like your music so much that they sing the fucking GUITAR PARTS. That was so cool

MOB and TSSF were both on huge rotation for me during high school. So cool to see Nik Bruzzese still active in the music scene. His backup vocals are perfect for them.

He's very much active even when not touring! He's a producer at the Gradwell House and there's SO MANY bands with great sound that are produced by him, dude's a legend.
Also, HARD DISAGREE on him taking away from the vocals. I do prefer Kevin's voice, but I bet Kevin prefers Nik singing and he still does the classic parts.
