Nice video compilation...we r planning to visit in 1 st week of April 2025. Kindly guide us with tour, hotel booking, car rental etc. Any contact details.
April is a fantastic time to visit Sikkim! You'll be glad to know that snow can still be found in North Sikkim and possibly around Nathula or on the way to Nathula. During my visit, I traveled through Thrillophilia and had a great experience. If you’re planning to travel with family or friends and prefer not to join a group, I recommend using government-authorized tour agencies. You can find a list of them here: sikkimtourism.gov.in/Public/TravellerEssentials/travelagents . Alternatively, you can simply reach Gangtok, explore various tour agencies there, and proceed as per your choice. For hotel bookings, based on my experience, I suggest using Airbnb or GoIbibo. My experiences with Oyo and MakeMyTrip were less than ideal. Aim for accommodations rated 4 stars or higher to ensure comfort. Expect snow or snowfall in North Sikkim, so pack accordingly. If you'd like a glimpse of what a North Sikkim tour can look like, feel free to check out my video: th-cam.com/video/oaUwg_mDd1s/w-d-xo.html
The pleasure is all mine! While self-driving is definitely the best option, the official website (sikkimtourism.gov.in/Public/TravellerEssentials/pap) doesn’t mention anything about self-driving cars which is why I suggest being open to visiting places like Nathula Pass using taxis. That said, I’ll be glad if you’re able to find a self-driving option! For now, as indicated on the website, it seems permits are being given only for two wheelers.
June se actually rainy season shuru ho jata hai toh weather yoh cool aur pleasant rahega hi par aapko baarish ke liye bhi prepared rehna hoga. Matlab weather forecast check karlena, agar jyada baarish dikha raha hai toh trip ko postpone kar lena ya phir trip pe jaake kuch din extra rakhna. Gangtok ghumne me koi issue nahi hogi. West Sikkim me bhi koi issue nahi hoga. Par East ke Nathula aur North Sikkim ke taraf aapko thode issues ho sakte hain.
Hi we are planning our trip in December, and we are planning from only 6 days.. M from West Bengal Kolkata can you guide me, how can I easily explore and which are the places I should visit, thankyou 😊
Hi, Nice video 👍. We are planning to go this month 3rd week. Will that be good time? Can we get snow on Mountain specifically Lachung and Nathula pass side. Please advice
Hi. You can definitely find snow at places like Zero Point, Yumthang Valley and Katao. You can go to all these places from Lachung in a single day. The chances are less but, you may also find snow at Nathula. The weather will be great for sure.
@@free.bird.travels thanks, so 3rd week of May is good to go. We wanted to explore Regular Sikkim sightseeing but also looking for offbeat or unexplored places. Any suggestions. We have 9 or 10days 😊
From June, the rainy season starts, so the whole month of May is perfect. Gangtok, Nathula Pass, Gurudongmar Lake, Pelling, Lachung, Lachen are the most visited places but, Lachen & Gurudongmar lake are closed for visitors nowadays as several bridges were heavily damaged due to the cloud burst that happened last year. I think one should mix both popular tourist places and offbeat places in their itinerary. You can start from east (places like Zuluk) then head to Nathula and then to Lachung, Yumthang Valley & Zero Point, then to gangtok, Ravangla, namchi & pelling. You can go clockwise or anti-clockwise as your wish! Just a suggestion😊
@@free.bird.travels thanks, yes we have pelling namchi in our plan also. Will check zuluk. Can we connect somehow if you are ok with this?
For a family-friendly trip to Sikkim with a 2-year-old, you can consider visiting Gangtok, Pelling, Ravangla, or Namchi. These destinations offer a blend of natural beauty and cultural attractions suitable for young children. Avoid high-altitude places like Nathula and North Sikkim, as they can be challenging for young children due to altitude sickness. Many visitors, including my friends, reported breathing difficulties at Nathula, which is located at a high altitude of 14,140 feet. Acclimatize gradually, pack essentials, and choose comfortable accommodations. Opt for family-friendly activities like leisurely walks and so on.
I think you are going to drive there. Even if you aren't, the roads are indeed risky to drive on even for the locals. There are many landslide zones and not all are marked and you won't find sign boards at all such places. The peak season to travel to Sikkim ends in May because after that the rainy season starts. So you may find rain in the 3rd week of June which will make the roads even riskier. Rest, if you haven't already made the bookings, make sure to keep a few days extra.
Nathula Pass is open through out the year apart from a few months in the winter due to heavy snowfall. In the summers as well, it gets closed on some days due to bad weather or heavy snowfall. Once you reach Gangtok, the taxi drivers will help you with the PAP and they are the ones who will let you know if it's open or not because they get the news from the officials.
Aap kahan se kahan carry karna chahte hain? Shops aapko mil jayenge har jagah. Cities me bade waale aur villages me chote waale. Most of the normal grocery/daily needs shop me aapko yeh mil jayega. Sikkim se bahar laana mana hai aur public places me kya rules rehta hai woh toh aapko pata hi hoga.
I visited Sikkim in mid-March and found it to be the best time to visit. From December to February, it’s the winter season, and by March, the peak season begins. If you enjoy cold weather and want to experience snow in some places, March is a better option than April.
July rainy season hai aur favourable time nahi hai Sikkim jaane ke liye. Par aapne phir bhi decide kar liya hai toh kuch din extra jaroor rakhein kyunki aise bhi din ho sakte hain jab din bhar baarish ho ya phir landslides ya kisi aur wajah se agar Nathula Pass khula na ho toh aise reasons ke liye kuch din extra rakhna sahi hoga.
Haan aisa hota hai. Hum log jis din gaye the uske baad wale din bad weather ki wajah se Nathula nahi jane diya ja raha tha aur phir uske next din sab kuch thik tha. So unpredictable weather!
Snow ke liye aapko North Sikkim ke Zero Point aur Katao Valley jaise jagah jana hoga May ke month me. Nathula Pass me chances kam hain snow milne ke. Milega toh bhi kam milega.
The weather will be great at that time. I've actually lost the contact details of the driver who had taken us to Nathula but, don't worry. The drivers are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly at the same time. You can approach any tour and travel operator which you can get at every corner of Gangtok so that they can help you with PAP as well as the taxi. The taxi should cost around Rs. 6000 per vehicle. If I find the contact details of the driver, I'll surely share it with you.
Mid-December to late February is considered the winter season in Sikkim. While it's not the ideal time for those seeking pleasant temperatures, it offers a unique experience for those who love snow and winter sports. If you're planning to celebrate Christmas or New Year in Sikkim, you'll be greeted with a festive atmosphere and the possibility of snowfall. However, due to heavy snowfall, some areas, including the northern part of Sikkim and Nathula Pass, may be inaccessible during this time. If you're lucky, you might be able to explore these regions, but it's important to be prepared for potential road closures and weather conditions.
Lachung closed nahi hai. Aur aap Yumthang aur Zero Point bhi jaa sakte hain. Gurudongmar Lake actually bandh hai aur main jab gaya tha tab bhi tha. October end is totally fine bas thand ke liye prepared rahein.
Sir ek or chiz btaao.. Hum log silligudi se hi scooter hire krne wale hai 3 log hai.. To kya hum log Tshongo lake wagera 3 log ja skte h scooter pr Drivery licence wagera hai voter ID v hai to kya Tshongo lake ke liye v permit bnana hoga or scooter se to ja hi skte hai na 3 log domestic h to?
Ji Tsomgo lake ke liye bhi permit chahiye. Agar main samjha toh aap 3 log ek scooter pe jaane wale hain. Agar aisa hai toh woh most possibly allow nahi karenge. Aap 2-3 scooters/bikes le rahe hain tab toh Koi issue hi nahi hai. Aur bike rental service providers aapko permit ke baare me bhi jaankari de denge nahi toh aap Gangtok panhoch ke banwa lena kisi bhi tour agent ke paas se. Enjoy your trip!🙂
Gangtok sightseeing ke liye 1 din laga aur Nathula, Baba Mandir, Tsomgo Lake etc se ke liye ek aur din laga. Toh iss episode me aapne jo dekha use bas 2 din me cover kiya ja sakta hai asani se. North Sikkim ke liye aur aur 3 days lage the jo ep 02 me dikhaya hai.
Mei apni family aur friends ke sath 23 June 2024 ko gaye thee,,,, Sikkim khubsurti aur natural beauty se bharpur ek state hai,,, words are less to express my feelings,,, by the way is gadi mei humari family hi baithi hue hai
Aap bilkul sahi keh rahe hain. Words ya video justice nahi kar sakte Sikkim ki khubsurti ke sath. Main jab bhi mauka milega, Sikkim jaroor wapas jaunga. Accha, hum jis gaadi se Nathula gaye the, usme aap ne bhi travel kiya?
@@free.bird.travelssorry mafi chahungi apse,,, actually mei dusre gadi se gaye thee aur comment meine is video pe kar diya,,,, waise Sikkim khuda ki banaye hua behtareen karigari hai,,,,
Yes. The Gangtok Airport (PYG) is very much operational. I just checked if a flight is available from New Delhi. If you can't find direct flight from your city to Gangtok, you can check flights for Bagdogra as the options will be more.
@@free.bird.travels I checked a few minutes ago... no flight to gangtok... only tlll bagdogra... so I was surprised when you mentioned gangtok flight...
If flight from your city to Gangtok is not available, Bagdogra is the next best option. The number of flights that run till Gangtok is lesser than till Bagdogra.
Near Gangtok, Nathula especially after Tsomgo lake till Nathula is the place to find show. Now you can't go to Gurudongmar lake, however, you can go to Lachung and near that, Katao, Yumthang Valley and Zero Point are the places where you can find snow which my next video wll be all about.
You can definitely go to Sikkim on your bike, however, if you are planning to explore more than Gangtok and you are solo, then it won't be recommended. If you are planning to do it with your friends, then alright. You will find snow in North Sikkim in places like Yumthang Valley and Zero Point and may find some in Nathu La as well.
The peak season to visit Sikkim is going on right now, however, the only issue is rain. I was checking the weather forecast now and found that it's going to rain in the next few days. Otherwise the temperature will be very pleasant there.
Also, is transport easily avalaible in Gangtok and Darjeeling or do we need bokking in advance We are 6 adults, 1 child of 7 years and 3 child are of 2.8 years only
@@free.bird.travels Thx a lot. Also for Nathula Pass do we require to book Innova or small cab also goes there and from where private cabs or taxis will be booked. We are going from from 08th June till 14th June and will stay 3 days eachh in Gangtok and Darjeeling
Ji haan bilkul ho sakti hai. Actually wind kaafi tezi se beh rahi hoti hai jiske liye thand jyada feel hota hai toh thoda prepared rahein aur haan camphor lena na bhulein.
The rainy season actually starts from June. So do check the weather forecast before making any booking. Otherwise the weather will be pleasant and you'll definitely get a respite from the heat.
Actually June rainy season hota hai. June se leke September tak. Main abhi forecast check kar raha tha aur poore ke poore June me rain ka forecast dikha raha hai. Bas Gangtok jaane me koi issue nahi hoga par Nathula aur North Sikkim ke side jayenge toh landslides jaise cheezein ho sakte hain.
Mujhe November first week me Darjeeling Jana h kewal nathula pass sikkim me ghumna h ek din me Darjeeling se jana or aana ho payega or us smay barf rhta h ya nhi
Gangtok to Nathula Pass jaane aur lautne me hi aapka 6-7 hours chala jayega. Darjeeling to Gangtok sharing taxis run karte hain aur regular intervals me jisme about 3.5 - 4 hours lagte hain. Toh ek din me Darjeeling to Nathula Pass and back possible nahi ho payega kyunki PAP bhi chahiye aapko. Toh aapko Gangtok me ek din rukna padega. Matlab aap ek evening me Gangtok panhoch ke, PAP ke liye kisi Taxi wale se baat kar lijiye, morning me as early as possible Nathula ke liye nikal jaiye aur jaldi Gangtok wapas aake phir Darjeeling ke taraf badh jaiye. November me aapko badhiya snow milega aur mazza aayega.
Bro mujhe bhi November 2nd week me jaana hai aur meri bhi same requirement hai Darjeeling aur uske baad sikkim plz koi information mili ho to share kariye
If I travel via public transport till gangtok , Can I go to nathula pass also? Is that any sharing cap facility there? And how can I apply for pass also
You can travel with public transport till Gangtok without issues. Sharing cabs and bus are available from Siliguri. Then you can also find sharing cabs for Nathulal as well. It will cost you ₹1000-1200 as compared to ₹6000 for a whole cab. For local sightseeing you can hire a taxi for ₹2000 for 10 spots.
Ji nahi. Aap yeh link check kar lijiye: sikkimtourism.gov.in/Public/TravellerEssentials/pap . Iss page ke last me hai ek option hai travel agents ke contact details ke liye. Aap unse ek baar baat kar sakte hain.
June se rainy season start ho jata hai to jane se pehle weather forecast check kar lena. Baaki weather bahot accha aur pleasantly cool rahega. Aur haan Nathula aur Zero Point bilkul jaa sakte hain. Aur Sikkim ke liye pro tip yeh hain ki 1-2 din extra rakhna.
Harsh bhai, please check the weather forecast before leaving because the rainy season starts in June. Let's hope it doesn't rain and you have a great time.😊
@@free.bird.travels Sure! Brother. But I have already booked my tickets. I'll be travelling to Bagdogra from Kolkata on 1st June and then was thinking of going directly to Gangtok? Is it going to be critical in the first week of June only?
@@harry1232244 No worries. Actually it's good to suggest friends and families not to travel in rainly season to the hilly areas. But, it's also about your willingness to travel no matter what comes your way and also luck, no? You may not get rain as the weather in those areas are such unpredictable and for sure, you'll find hotels at good prices. So what I mean to say is, if you have already booked your tickets, then please take some precautions and have a good time.
@@free.bird.travels That's good advice, bro. I have plans for Darjeeling as well. So, Darjeeling and Gangtok are a must-visit. Also, please let me know how to make a Permit for Nathula Pass and other areas in Sikkim. If you have any leads do let me know how to contact them.
@@harry1232244 Actually it's very simple. If you are traveling to Nathula or any other places in Sikkim, you need to get the permit yourself. Otherwise, the taxi drivers get it done for their passengers. Suppose you have to go to Nathula on June 3rd, talk to a travel agency guy on June 2nd which you can find in every nook and corner in Gangtok or to any taxi driver in Vajra taxi stand and provide the required documents (any of passport/voter ID/DlLs copy+2 passport size photo) and they will get it done for you.
Honestly, 1 saal ke baby ko toh maine nahi dekha Nathula ya Changu lake me par 4-5 saal ke kaafi bacchon ko dekha. Toh sure hoke yeh keh pana muskil hai mere liye. Let's hope koi reply kare jo 1 saal se chote bacchon ke saath gaye hon.
Tabish bhai, only Passport, Voter ID and Driving License are allowed as per Sikkim's official website. You can check this link: www.sikkimtourism.gov.in/Public/TravellerEssentials/pap
Maine Gangtok, Nathula, Lachung aur Yumthang ka package Thrillophilia se liya tha Rs. 20k ka. Waise Gangtok se Nathula, Baba Mandir aur Changu Lake ka Rs. 6000 lete hain taxi wale. Sharing wala taxi bhi mil jata hai Rs. 1000-1200 me.
Aap jab ja rahe hain tab temperature toh bahot hi pleasant rahega matlab maximum 25 to 30 degrees ke beech me hi rahega. Par rainy season bhi start ho raha hota hai toh aap uske liye jaroor prepared rehna bas.
June se actually rainy season start ho jayega toh July me bhi waisa hi weather rahega. Aapko kuch din extra rakhne honge. Baaki ghumne ke liye aap har jagah jaa sakte hain jaise Gangtok, Nathula aur west Sikkim ke Namchi, Pelling, Ravangla jaise jagah aasani se ja sakte hain. North me Lachen aur Gurudongmar lake toh band hai, aap Lachung, Katao, Yumthang Valley aur Zero Point jaise jagah bhi ja sakte hain. Next episode me kuch dikhaya hai north Sikkim ka.
July to September tak rainy season hota hai aur tab yahan jaane pe kaafi issues ho sakte hain jaise ki landslides aur road blockages. Agar aapne decide kar liya hai toh prepared rahen aur kuch extra days rakhen. Weather lekin bahot accha hoga tab matlab temperature.
Definitely and that's the most amazing way to reach Nathula. You can rent a bike from Gangtok or take your own bike. If you are taking your own bike then, the following documents will required for Two-Wheelers/Motor Bike Permit Registration certificate of the Bike Driving License Pollution certificate Insurance certificate Passport size Photo (2 nos) Identity proof of rider and co-rider
I saw quite a few kids who seemed like below 5 years of age and I don't think they were facing any issues. We even had a conversation with a family who had such a kid and everything was fine with them. So that can be considered as an assurance that the kid will be alright. And May is a great time to be in Nathula.👍🏼

Which month did you visit
I visited this place in Mid March when the tourist season begins after the winter months.
2nd jun
June se actually rainy season shuru ho jata hai toh weather yoh cool aur pleasant rahega hi par aapko baarish ke liye bhi prepared rehna hoga. Matlab weather forecast check karlena, agar jyada baarish dikha raha hai toh trip ko postpone kar lena ya phir trip pe jaake kuch din extra rakhna. Gangtok ghumne me koi issue nahi hogi. West Sikkim me bhi koi issue nahi hoga. Par East ke Nathula aur North Sikkim ke taraf aapko thode issues ho sakte hain.
Hi we are planning our trip in December, and we are planning from only 6 days..
M from West Bengal Kolkata can you guide me, how can I easily explore and which are the places I should visit, thankyou 😊
Hi,
Nice video 👍.
Niceee😊
Im in gangtok Right now
Wow! Glad to know that. I hope you're having a great time there🙂👍 If possible, please let me and our viewers know how's the weather there today.
Can we see snow in tsomgo lake in may?
You can find a bit of snow around Tsomgo lake, however, you'll find more snow from Tsomgo till Nathula.
Is it ok to travel to Sikkim and surroundings with 2 year old baby boy
Are the roads risk-free to travel in 3rd week of June?
I think you are going to drive there. Even if you aren't, the roads are indeed risky to drive on even for the locals. There are many landslide zones and not all are marked and you won't find sign boards at all such places. The peak season to travel to Sikkim ends in May because after that the rainy season starts. So you may find rain in the 3rd week of June which will make the roads even riskier. Rest, if you haven't already made the bookings, make sure to keep a few days extra.
Is Nathula pass open now, planning to go on june 15
Nathula Pass is open through out the year apart from a few months in the winter due to heavy snowfall. In the summers as well, it gets closed on some days due to bad weather or heavy snowfall. Once you reach Gangtok, the taxi drivers will help you with the PAP and they are the ones who will let you know if it's open or not because they get the news from the officials.
Is there any snow in lachung now?
You will find snow at Yumthang Valley, Zero Point and Katao but not in Lachung itself. You can visit all these 3 places in a day.
Mei 9 may ko aaye hu zero point se bhut snow fall hue...
I hope aapko bahot mazza aaya. Snowfall experience karna is quite an experience😙
Bro Zyaada cold hai Daaru carry Kar saktha hai kya....?
Aap kahan se kahan carry karna chahte hain? Shops aapko mil jayenge har jagah. Cities me bade waale aur villages me chote waale. Most of the normal grocery/daily needs shop me aapko yeh mil jayega. Sikkim se bahar laana mana hai aur public places me kya rules rehta hai woh toh aapko pata hi hoga.
Hi do you help plan the tour packages?
Hi. You can ask me anything you need help with and I'll be glad to help you with that.
March or April which month better for this trip. Plz suggest me.
I visited Sikkim in mid-March and found it to be the best time to visit. From December to February, it’s the winter season, and by March, the peak season begins. If you enjoy cold weather and want to experience snow in some places, March is a better option than April.
July me ja skte hai? We are planning for july 1st week.
July rainy season hai aur favourable time nahi hai Sikkim jaane ke liye. Par aapne phir bhi decide kar liya hai toh kuch din extra jaroor rakhein kyunki aise bhi din ho sakte hain jab din bhar baarish ho ya phir landslides ya kisi aur wajah se agar Nathula Pass khula na ho toh aise reasons ke liye kuch din extra rakhna sahi hoga.
❤❤❤
17th April ko mai wahi thi but mujhe nathula paas me weather khrab mila then jhankhu leke me achha tha
Haan aisa hota hai. Hum log jis din gaye the uske baad wale din bad weather ki wajah se Nathula nahi jane diya ja raha tha aur phir uske next din sab kuch thik tha. So unpredictable weather!
Aap gayee ho wahan please your WhatsApp number
Hi when did you go?
I went there in March second week this year.
Bhaiya mere ko sirf yah Bata dijiye ki ham 2024 may mahine mein ice milegi kya
Snow ke liye aapko North Sikkim ke Zero Point aur Katao Valley jaise jagah jana hoga May ke month me. Nathula Pass me chances kam hain snow milne ke. Milega toh bhi kam milega.
Manali jesi nhi milegi..jahaan aap snow me khel sko
Brother we are traveling on 29th may with family. Can you please suggest any taxi service contact information? How much they charge for nathula?
The weather will be great at that time. I've actually lost the contact details of the driver who had taken us to Nathula but, don't worry. The drivers are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly at the same time. You can approach any tour and travel operator which you can get at every corner of Gangtok so that they can help you with PAP as well as the taxi. The taxi should cost around Rs. 6000 per vehicle. If I find the contact details of the driver, I'll surely share it with you.
Will it be good to travel on 24 December to 1 jan?
Is lachung closed in October? Humlog october ke end mei jaare hai toh sahi hoga kya
Lachung closed nahi hai. Aur aap Yumthang aur Zero Point bhi jaa sakte hain. Gurudongmar Lake actually bandh hai aur main jab gaya tha tab bhi tha. October end is totally fine bas thand ke liye prepared rahein.
Lachung ke upar bhi hai ek video aap chahein toh dekh sakte hain.

Yeah it is closed till December that’s what locals mentioned because of flood
Sir ek or chiz btaao..
Hum log silligudi se hi scooter hire krne wale hai 3 log hai.. To kya hum log Tshongo lake wagera 3 log ja skte h scooter pr Drivery licence wagera hai voter ID v hai to kya Tshongo lake ke liye v permit bnana hoga or scooter se to ja hi skte hai na 3 log domestic h to?
Ji Tsomgo lake ke liye bhi permit chahiye. Agar main samjha toh aap 3 log ek scooter pe jaane wale hain. Agar aisa hai toh woh most possibly allow nahi karenge. Aap 2-3 scooters/bikes le rahe hain tab toh Koi issue hi nahi hai. Aur bike rental service providers aapko permit ke baare me bhi jaankari de denge nahi toh aap Gangtok panhoch ke banwa lena kisi bhi tour agent ke paas se. Enjoy your trip!🙂
Aapne y tour kitne din m cover kiya.... Please make a reply sir
Gangtok sightseeing ke liye 1 din laga aur Nathula, Baba Mandir, Tsomgo Lake etc se ke liye ek aur din laga. Toh iss episode me aapne jo dekha use bas 2 din me cover kiya ja sakta hai asani se. North Sikkim ke liye aur aur 3 days lage the jo ep 02 me dikhaya hai.
Mei apni family aur friends ke sath 23 June 2024 ko gaye thee,,,, Sikkim khubsurti aur natural beauty se bharpur ek state hai,,, words are less to express my feelings,,, by the way is gadi mei humari family hi baithi hue hai
Aap bilkul sahi keh rahe hain. Words ya video justice nahi kar sakte Sikkim ki khubsurti ke sath. Main jab bhi mauka milega, Sikkim jaroor wapas jaunga. Accha, hum jis gaadi se Nathula gaye the, usme aap ne bhi travel kiya?

Do you have flights for Gangtok...?? Is the airport operational...??? I was looking for flights some days back but couldn't find one..
Flights are available from Kolkata and Delhi
Is gurdomarg lake is open now?
Sadly it hasn't opened for tourists after the flash floods that happened last year. You can't go to Lachen as well.
@@free.bird.travels ok thanks.....can you please suggest some places in gangtok specially for snow....
What to go in June 22-24 ...will it be good experience?
It would be rainy season in June. So do check the weather forecast before making any booking. Otherwise the weather will be very pleasant.
We are planning a bike trip to Gangtok, is it safe?
After May 15th can we see snowfall??
You can definitely go to Sikkim on your bike, however, if you are planning to explore more than Gangtok and you are solo, then it won't be recommended. If you are planning to do it with your friends, then alright. You will find snow in North Sikkim in places like Yumthang Valley and Zero Point and may find some in Nathu La as well.
@@free.bird.travels thanks a lot for the information 🙌.
Is it right time to go there
The peak season to visit Sikkim is going on right now, however, the only issue is rain. I was checking the weather forecast now and found that it's going to rain in the next few days. Otherwise the temperature will be very pleasant there.
Also, is transport easily avalaible in Gangtok and Darjeeling or do we need bokking in advance
We are 6 adults, 1 child of 7 years and 3 child are of 2.8 years only
Advance booking is not required.
@@free.bird.travels Thx a lot. Also for Nathula Pass do we require to book Innova or small cab also goes there and from where private cabs or taxis will be booked. We are going from from 08th June till 14th June and will stay 3 days eachh in Gangtok and Darjeeling
@abhinavprakash2 Yes, for Nathula you have to book 2 small cabs as 10 people can't fit in an Innova.
May me bhi Nathula pass me thand ho sakti hai kya? we are travelling in mid may
Ji haan bilkul ho sakti hai. Actually wind kaafi tezi se beh rahi hoti hai jiske liye thand jyada feel hota hai toh thoda prepared rahein aur haan camphor lena na bhulein.
Same planning a trip after 15th May
How much jackets rent
As far as I remember it was Rs. 150 or Rs. 200.
Can we plan for June ?? Is it good to visit Sikkim???
The rainy season actually starts from June. So do check the weather forecast before making any booking. Otherwise the weather will be pleasant and you'll definitely get a respite from the heat.
The best time for Sikkim is March to mid June.
Kya mai june mai ja sakti hun??
Actually June rainy season hota hai. June se leke September tak. Main abhi forecast check kar raha tha aur poore ke poore June me rain ka forecast dikha raha hai. Bas Gangtok jaane me koi issue nahi hoga par Nathula aur North Sikkim ke side jayenge toh landslides jaise cheezein ho sakte hain.
@@free.bird.travels kya ek accha place bateye Jo June Mai Jane k liye...jo accha rehega

June 1 st week Kaise rahega.. Nathula pass and zero point pe ja sakte hai kya ?

Actually from mid-June, the rainy season starts. The peak season is going on right now (from March to May).

Can we go to nathula pass by bike ??
Definitely and that's the most amazing way to reach Nathula. You can rent a bike from Gangtok or take your own bike. If you are taking your own bike then, the following documents will required for Two-Wheelers/Motor Bike Permit
Registration certificate of the Bike
Driving License
Pollution certificate
Insurance certificate
Passport size Photo (2 nos)
Identity proof of rider and co-rider
We met some riders on the way who had come from West Bengal and had their own bikes.
Can we go nathula pass with 4 year kid in may
I saw quite a few kids who seemed like below 5 years of age and I don't think they were facing any issues. We even had a conversation with a family who had such a kid and everything was fine with them. So that can be considered as an assurance that the kid will be alright. And May is a great time to be in Nathula.👍🏼
