God forbid, even if you don’t find snow in McLeodganj or Dharamshala, the Dhauladhar Ranges will certainly be snow-covered. These peaks are covered in snow for most months of the year regardless of the season.

Staying in Dharamshala will definitely give you more accommodation options compared to McLeodganj and Palampur, plus you’ll have access to a wide variety of food choices. I recently started using Airbnb, and there are some great properties available in Dharamshala as well. McLeodganj is cooler than both Dharamshala and Palampur, where the temperatures are usually quite similar. A trip of 3 to 3.5 days is perfect for exploring all three places, as they’re relatively close to each other. Mid-January is an excellent time to enjoy snow and cold weather in this part of Himachal. I visited these places from November 28 to December 6 last year, so while my videos capture that period, you can expect even colder conditions now-perfect if you love the cold! As for paragliding, I’ve only tried it in Bir-Billing, but the reviews for Dharamshala paragliding experiences are great (mostly rated 4.5 stars on Google). If the weather is clear, it’s definitely worth a try!

The pleasure is all mine! If you’re visiting with family, exploring places of interest will naturally take more time. However, if you’re traveling solo, you can move faster and cover more in less time. If you plan to cover Dharamshala, McLeodganj, and Palampur in 2 days, it’ll be hectic but doable. Hiring a taxi is a convenient option-they typically cover around 10 attractions and charge approximately ₹2500-₹3000 per day. However, visiting Palampur may incur additional charges. If you opt for a rental bike or car, it gives you more flexibility but can also be more time-consuming and hectic, especially if you’re trying to make the most of your holiday. For the 3rd and 4th day, there are direct morning buses from Dharamshala to Dalhousie. You’ll reach Dalhousie by around 1:45 PM, allowing you to explore a few attractions that afternoon. The next day, you can visit Khajjiar and other spots in Dalhousie before heading back to Delhi or Pathankot. So what you are planning is doable.

Ji, March starting me aapko Dalhousie aur Khajjiar ke surrounding snow mil jaayegi kuch jagah. Dainkund me toh pakki mil jaayegi snow. Feb. me aur bhi jyada snow milti par March me bhi mil jayegi.

Rented bike aap kahan se lena chahte hain? Guwahati me bhi mil jayega aur Tawang me bhi. Guwahati to Tawang aur Tawang sightseeing aap kar sakte hain rented bike se. Bumla bhi jaa sakte hain saare documents aur permit hai toh.

The snowfall is moderate at the moment, so unless it gets heavier, there shouldn’t be any issues reaching Lachung and continuing to Yumthang or Zero Point. For Nathula Pass, however, the weather plays a crucial role. Once you reach Gangtok, it’s best to check with a local taxi operator or driver for the latest updates on road conditions and whether it’s feasible to visit Nathula. There are days when the weather isn’t clear, making the trip impossible, but conditions often improve the next day. For instance, when we visited Nathula, we learned that it wasn’t accessible the following day due to weather. Let’s hope for clear skies so you can explore both Nathula and North Sikkim without any trouble. Also, don’t miss adding Katao to your itinerary.

Yes, Bumla is accessible unless there has been excessive snowfall. In case of heavy snow, roads may get blocked. You can only confirm the conditions for the Tawang - Bumla route once you reach Tawang. On the way, you can also experience snow or snowfall at Sela Pass. According to recent reports, it hasn’t snowed in Tawang or the surrounding areas this year. Let’s hope for snowfall by the end of December, but not too much!

@@jnana1985 I did a litte bit of research and found no reports of snowfall at Bumla Pass in recent times but yes, you can experience a little bit of snow here (normally they are not reported on news channels) and there how it has been shown in this video. Also it depends on your luck. I had visited there in mid October and found a bit of snow and you are visiting there tomorrow so the chances of you finding snow is much higher😊 Happy journey! if possible, please write an update about the conditions at Bumla once you return, so that me as well as our viewers can be benefitted.

I was there in mid October (12th - 18th). The weather must be colder now.

Time toh ho gaya hai par abhi tak koi khabar nahi aayi hai snowfall ki Sela pass ya Tawang me iss saal. Bumla me hume mid October me snowfall halki si mil gayi thi aur hope ki aap ko bhi iss baar mil jayegi. Weather ka kuch keh nahi sakte toh we can only hope. Happy Journey!

Guwahati se Bomdila aur Bomdila se Tawang yeh sab ke liye sharing Tata Sumo mil jayega par woh touristy places jaise Ki Sela Pass etc me nahi rokte. Haan aap unhe wahan drop karne ke liye bolenge toh drop jaroor kar denge. Sela paas aap Tawang aate ya jaate time cover karein naaki Tawang se aayein aur phir lautein. Tawang jaake Bumla Paas aut Sangetsar lake jaane ke liye taxis Re.5500 lete hain per taxi ka. 6-7 logon ke liye. Sharing wala shayad mil jayega par aapko baat karna padega kisi tour agency se Tawang panhoch ke.

Hi! Maine yeh kiya tha isi saal Mid March me. Jan aur Feb me bahot snowfall hui hoti hai toh March aur April me bhi dikh jaati hai aur main bhi usi ummeed se gaya tha. But, wapas aake dekha toh May aur June tak tak bhi snowfall ho jaati hai kabhi kabhi Zero Point aur Yumthang Valley me agar aap lucky ho. Toh haan May aur June bhi bilkul sahi time hai wahan jaane ke liye. Aur tab aapko flowers bhi dikh jayenge Yumthang Valley (Valley of Flowers) me.

@exploreindia852 They are allowed to Nathula for sure because I saw many kids there. But, I am not sure about Gurudongmar Lake. I don't think there should be any issue there. But please prepared for the extremely high altitude of 17k plus feet and also the very cold conditions. Camphor, diamox and enough warm clothes are must.

If you're asking in general, food in both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh is quite affordable unless you're dining at high-end restaurants, which are mostly found in places like Guwahati, Bomdila (options are limited) and Tawang. Roadside food joints and small eateries are very cost-effective. For instance: Veg Thali: ₹60 to ₹200 in decent hotels. Non-Veg Items: Priced separately as per the menu. Momos: ₹80 to ₹150 on average. Maggi: ₹50 to ₹60 at most. Thukpa: ₹100 to ₹150. As for the food shown in this video: The Veg Thali cost us ₹160. Non-veg dishes like duck, fish, and chicken were ordered separately and were slightly on the expensive side, around ₹400 to ₹500 per plate. Chicken Thukpa was ₹160, as mentioned in the video. Regarding accommodations, the room cost was part of our package. Normally, it costs ₹2,500 per night as per the owner/manager. I'll be sharing a room tour in the next video. The hotel we stayed at was Amaze P Y Homestay.

Sela Pass me snow ke chances December se February tak rehte hain. Abhi iss saal wahan snowfall hone ki khabar toh nahi aayi hai. Aap lucky hain toh abhi bhi snow fall ho sakta hai. Waise normally November se shuru nahi hota locals ke hisaab se. Hume Bumla Pass me snowfall mil gaya tha halka halka aur woh bhi October 14th ko. Pehle se pata nahi tha par achanak se woh mil gaya.

Dharamshala to Palampur maine roadways bus se hi travel kiya tha. 1 hour ke aaspass laga tha. Beech me Chamunda Devi temple aata hai. Aap taxi se aate hain toh ise cover kar sakte hain. Aur wahan sightseeing ke liye maine ek auto rickshaw book kiya tha Rs. 800 deke. Taxi lenge toh Rs. 2000 ke aaspass dene padenge. Baijnath bhi jayenge toh price badh sakta hai.

Mid March bahot hi accha time hai Dalhousie jaane ke liye. aapko snow dekhna hai toh usse pehle February end tak jaa sakte hain. Par aapko pleasant weather chahiye aur acchi khasi (extreme nahi) thand sahi lagta hai toh Mid March bahot accha time hai.

Aur Aap Dharamshala, Palampur, Dalhousie etc sab ghumna chahte hain toh kaafi saare packages hote hain jo aapko saste padenge. Online aap search kar sakte hain ya kisi taxi driver se bhi baat kar sakte hain jo aapke saath rehke inn sabhi jagahon ko ghuma sakta hai.

December to February is the ideal time to experience snowfall in Sikkim. Currently, North Sikkim is not fully open to tourists, as reports indicate that roads beyond Mangan are blocked. Recent images from Nathula also show no snow yet. It’s best to wait until at least mid-December for a better chance of enjoying snow in Sikkim.

Ji bilkul jaa sakte hain. South aur West Sikkim plus Gangtok (East) aap explore kar sakte hain. Par extreme thand ke liye prepared jaroor rahein. North Sikkim ka rasta tab tak khul gaya hoga toh acchi baat hai. Abhi bandh hai waise aur Nov 22nd ko khulne ke chances hain ek update ke hisaab se. Par phir bhi North Sikkim aur Nathu La ka pehle se kuch keh nahi sakte woh hamesha unpredictable hota hai. But baaki sab aap acche se ghum sakte hain.👍

@@Coh2021 Jagah puchenge toh Darjeeling (sightseeing ka video hai channel me), Pelling (glass bridge, Khecheopalri Lake etc), Ravangla (Buddha park etc), Namchi (Siddheshwara Dham etc) aur Gangtok ghum sakte hain aapke holidays ke duration ke hisaab se. 6 logon ka group hai toh aap aaram se kahin bhi jaa sakte hain. thoda offbeat holiday chahte hain toh Zuluk wala silk route bhi try kar sakte hain.

Feb 14th ka time bahot hi accha hai Dalhousie & Khajjiar ke liye. Aapko snow jaroor mil jayega par fresh snow/live snowfall dekhne ko milega ya nahi yeh toh luck ki baat hai. Aap nikalne se pehle forecast jaroor check kar lena. Raaste band hone ke koi chances toh normally toh nahi hote. Toh all good.👍
