More degeneracy. Leading to corruption. It starts at the top, with Bergoglio. I walked away from his heretical theology and teachings. And will not return until there is a definitive change for the betterment of the people of the church. I say my prayers in my home, daily, I try to be free of sin, and recommit myself, most every day. I continue with my daily work, and try to remain charitable in thought, word, and deed. I may be bereft of likeminded people around me, But I’d rather pray alone, that in a church full of many sinners. And I pray that God understands my heart! I look forward to returning to the church, But I don’t see that happening any time soon. Hopefully, and prayerfully, we are blessed with a miracle soon, and a change is made! I have to remind myself daily, Patience is a virtue…
With news of scandals coming to us nearly on a daily basis, it is understandable that you are more than disheartened with the Church. I was too, until I found the SSPX. The true worship, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in all of its entirety and beauty, and those who believe in it, can be found there. The Lord does not leave us orphaned. 🙏
@MzladyGrinn Respect the Pope. Catholics call him Pope Francis. If you are a Catholic, then you should call him that too. It doesn't matter if he says things that aren't Catholic from time to time. You don't get to choose the Holy Father any more than you get to choose your own father. When you walked away from Pope Francis, you walked away from Christ. The Church is the mystical body of Christ. You cannot have the head without the body. Instead of waiting for the Church to become better, you should be living a sacramental life in full communion with the Church, and praying the Rosary every day. Praying the rosary daily and frequenting Holy Communion (both in a state of grace) will pull down graces from Heaven. It may be a Church full of sinners, but in missing Mass and breaking one of the three Commandments pertaining to love of God, you are no better than they are. Anyway, true humility is putting yourself below others, not holding yourself to be above everyone. Patience is a virtue, which is a grace, but grace builds on grace. No Sunday Mass means no sanctifying grace. You are essentially trying to fill up your cup with virtue, but there is a large hole in the bottom of it.... It cannot hold the virtue. Apologies for being so harsh. I know you only want to do the right thing, and I know it is hard. But for the sake of your soul, you must stay with the Church.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any near me.
I have looked…
Not sspx or tlm.
But my faith is strong,
And I remain waiting.
@@MzladyGrinn : it is sad when there is no Latin Mass near us. But, Our Holy Mother Mary will accompany you in this time of desolation and waiting. 🙏

Are there any Eastern Catholic churches near you? The Divine Liturgy is beautiful and reverent.
