    how did you export the shot in object mode (3:54) with the alpha channel of the video plane? When I try, the plane appears as a whole, not the silhouette of the subject

      Hi! I used After effects and exported the video as an a image sequence of png with alpha. I then imported the image sequence into blender with the addon "images to planes". It used the alpha automatically but if it dosen´t work for you, maybe try conecting the alpha of the image in the material to the alpha in the principle shader just to check

      i just remembered. If its still dosent show the alpha its probs because the material in blender its set up to hace de " viewport display" in opaque. You have to changed as alpha blend

    bro can u please tell me how long will it take to render a scene very simple and similar to yours in 1:09 in a high performance laptop (rtx 3050 nvidia with 8 gb ram)

      hi there man, well i work with an rtx 2090 and this took maybebe a full 24 hours to render. For 20 seconds of video. I must say I was still learning a bit of blender so I wasnt aware of all the rendering tricks. I for the next time I would maybe forget a bit about the render passes and send it directly composited to a render farm

      Thx for your reply…are you using high resilution textures? Can we do it with the free subscription?

    • @kendal3163
      @kendal3163  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fransoavirtuality of course! I had a bit of back up because you can save most of the images you downloaded the first time so I had quite the big library. But since its a credit based subscription, you can do it perfectly fine with the free subscription!,
