My momma Diane Sloan was born in Plant City and buried there Mt. Enon I believe is the name of the cemetery but I was born in Bartow Florida and I love my birth state and my mom introduced us to the many customs and traditions of the state. She picked strawberries when they were ready to be picked. We were raised running through orange groves and the water excursions, not a water park but the springs and rivers that we went tubing through. Also, the Cuban sandwiches that are famous.So many people don't know what they are missing out on.

Yeah, glad that's finally over. My kids were zombies after a week of showing.
My family owns 2 homes on Oak st. and this past sunday alone we made a little over 800$ parking cars on the last day alone.
You missed the most important part of the Strawberry Festival, the agriculture shows. Also, do you know how Strawberries got their name?
