My family owned the Ship Wreck museum before Mel Fisher bought it. The people in the video in the basement are my great aunts and uncles. The boat was named after my great aunt Hazel.
I did the Conch Steam Train tour, wish I did the Trolly on off one! One must have Key Lime pie in Key West! I got a frozen slice on a stick dipped in chocolate '😊
We drove from Orlando last year stopped in Florida City then drove to Key West for the day. It was great seeing some of the places we visited. Finished the trip with a couple of nights in the Everglades then on to Miami. Loved it all. What a beautiful state Florida is. You're lucky living there.
Kermits actually makes their pies in Deland, FL. They have a small store there at the factory that is open Mon-Fri if you ever need to get your key lime pie fix. So happy to see the Road Trip channel back.
Wow, this trip looked amazing. That shipwreck museum looked really cool. Would love to visit this place and enjoy some keylime pie. Thank you for sharing this. Love you guys. ❤ Also that sunset, magic.
We live up in Jacksonville and keep wanting to drive down to the Keys. We just booked a cruise for September that has a stop in the Keys, so I guess that's how we're gonna see it first!
Oof, watching your wonderful video makes me realize how much I don’t remember (for some reason or other 😳) my visit to Key West many years ago. Fun fact, I’ll be up by Hemingway’s summer house this weekend!
They have a shuttle that takes you to and from old town. The hotel pick up is every hour on the hour and the pick up from old town is every hour on the half hout. I think last pick up though is 10:30pm, after that you would have to uber back to the hotel

Can you show us the airport too so I will know how to find the shuttle to the hotel zone. Thank you.
Caroline loved it when you showed the street sign in jimmy buffets with her name on it

Hilton Garden Inn
Beautiful and well-rounded trip, that I'm *so glad* you shared with us!
We are there for one day later this month would yoi recommend renting a golf cart?
What time of day were you at the southernmost tip monument?
Heminway's friend Toby Bruce built the home wall. Also, the pool was built by Pauline for Hemmingway, but he was not happy about it.
Thank you for the correction. We got the info from a tour guide. 😕
Said it took his last penny! 😎
How did you like the Hilton Garden Inn? Did you do cabs, Lift, or uber to go into old town?

Anyone interested in history should tour the Little White House!
is there an app or map for the free public bus?
What was the charge for the Truman tour?
Around $16 or $17.
What do you “Rick-a-mend” 👏
Toros en espana......
I've had some bad "knock off" key lime pie (not in Key West, they know better) which was green, thanks to food coloring. It also tasted nasty.
How was the water temperature in the ocean?
Felt like 80 to me. It’s was not nearly as cold as Florida spring water which is 72
Not a bad video, but no need to hold the camera over your heads.
