When I am peeling potatoes and carrots, I always have a large empty bowl on the counter for the peelings. I can peel and clean the vegetables directly into the bowl. Makes cleanup much easier! Binge watching all of your videos!

Ahhhh yes, good ole corn bread cooked in the cast iron in the oven...doesn’t get better then that! A staple in my household! Cornbread, you can serve it with about anything.
My grandmother always put a spoon full of bacon grease in the bottom of her cast iron skillet and placed it in the over as it preheat, She then would pull it out and pour her cornbread mixture on top and OMG it is so good! It creates this crispy crust on the bottom that has tons of flavor..
A definite meal for next week if Cole gave 2 thumbs up and cameo, oh yes a definite. All meals sound amazing and I remember you saying on Instagram that this weeks meals were really good. Thank you for your sharing and inspiration.

Mandy: I have a hint for the next time you have a potato peel race, use the peeler Steven used and hold it like it's a knife and peel around the potato ( like an apple) rather than up and down. Peel won't fly everywhere and you will be able to get all the peel off cleanly. Easy peasy! I've been cooking for over 60 years and still use the "old fashioned" type peeler for all veggies and fruit.
Oh no, I'm losing it. I wrote my hint wrong! I meant to say use the peeler to peel apples around and peel the potatoes in long downward motions. It's hell getting old!! Very seldom do I write a comment and now I know why! I enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing with us.

I’ve never made cornbread that way but here in Canada I make “Johnny cake” (as it’s called around here) and there’s brown sugar in it. I make it in a 9 x 13 and serve it with baked beans or chilli... or sometimes we just like to have it cut and buttered with a cup of coffee! 😋 Oh, and I am loving the scoreboard and bloopers! awesome
