- New wheels installed on my 2012 Camaro SS. Fresh set of 20x10/20x11 MRR M228 Z/28 replica wheels. Gloss Black powder coated. Fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 275/40/20 fronts and 315/35/20 rears. Fits perfectly and looks soooo good. Let me know what color I should go with for my brake calipers and hood. Black carbon fiber hood and power coat the calibers yellow and get read of the white stripe on the deck lid and you’re in the mix👌🏾
Beautiful 5th gen bro. Satin black your hood. I have the zl1 wheels on my 2012 ss2. They were 20x11. Had the. Widened out to 20x12.5. Running 345/30/20 out back.

Love the look of the wheels and tires. Thinking about purchasing these (gun metal version) rims for my 2010 inferno orange camaro. What was the exact version of the Michelin Pilot Sport tires you purchased? I saw the size, just curious what Pilot Sports u went with.
Went with pilot sport 4s. They didn’t last long tho. Soft compound. Rears lasted me about 8 months. Daily driven.
I'm considering Nittos . It is garage kept with only 49,000 miles. Mine is about 500 hp to the wheels and about 500 torque as well. Drive it maybe once a week. Thanks for the feedback.

Great video and information. Did you look into the +23 offset vs the +35 for the front? It looks like your +35 is tight. Would the +23 have pushed the wheel out a bit more and caused a rub?
Yeah, his +35 is very under the fender on this video, a bump on the road may make it hit!
On stock suspension not a chance
The front wheels do stick out a bit more than I would have liked but they don’t rub. Even on lowering springs.

No, not really. I also went a lot wider in the rear so more wheel and tire probably added weight. LOL.

Yes. H&R springs. 1.5” front, 1.2” rear.

No mods needed. Zero rubbing. Even with 20x10’s up front with H&R lowering springs. Perfect fitment. Definitely worth the price!

Why did you make the front tire ratio 40 instead of 35 like the rear? And how come you went with 275 for the front I’m wanting maybe 285 like phastek recommends but I’m not sure I’m trying to get the same setup and still learning your car looks amazing btw!
The front and rear offsets are not the same. The factory offsets are 40 rear and 35 front. Trust me, you won’t want to go any wider than 275 tire for the front.

Got them from MRR directly. Wheels are 20x10 upfront and 20x11 rears. Zero rubbing. White stripe removed and carbon fiber was added. See my later videos.

Did you put new TPMS sensors in? Any issues or rubbing?
I just transferred the factory ones in from my original wheels. No issues with sensors or rubbing. Fit perfect.
What TPMS & lugs did you use? Any issue of the TPMS hitting the brakes?
Factory TPMS with spline lugs. Had to cut the rollers off the pads.

Do you still have those rollers on the brake pads? The rollers were hitting my valve stems. Had to cut the rollers off.

No, the Speedo was still good since I didn’t change the diameter. I stayed with 20” rims.
Right on. I just got a low mile 14 1le & I been running the square set up 285/35/20. Been thinking of running 315/35/20 in the rear. All tire shops are telling me it’ll throw off the speedo.
where did you get your mrr center caps?
They came with the wheels. Ordered the wheels straight from MRR.
What rear spoiler are you running looks good.
Running the ZL1 spoiler with wicker bill.
What do you torque those new wheels too
I put them at 100ft lbs. Then check them again after 100 miles.

Yes, the offset and pattern will be the same.

Yes I was able to fit 345s on. They have to be 30series in height. When I had the zl1 wheels widened we did the math on the offset to make sure they fit. Send me your email and I will send you some pics
