Not impressed By the video for Camaros are not to be relied on by factory or factory support but you as a owner you make it yours and if you spend the money your Camaro can do whatever you need it to do SS 2 Camaro Owner
Where did you put the iat and map sensors ?
The IAC is mounted on the firewall, the map sensor is inside behind the firewall.
Thanks, saw the iac, was wondering if you did run an air intake temp sensor. Your truck looks awesome, I’m planning to do the same on my truck and just at this point planning everything out before tackling it.
What length are the studs?
They are 1/2” studs. The length is around 3”
How do I hold the hub so I can torque the wheel studs to 77 foot pounds
I just held the disc with one hand and torqued it down with my other.
I wish I had known about the spin tight dust cap!!! What’s with the aluminum piece between the rotor and hub?
That’s just an adapter to mount the hub to the disc. Comes with the kit.
@@bigblockkev my kit has the hat I bolted/safety wired to rotor. Maybe I can rest my hub into the rotor upside down to torque the studs.
What’s the bolt pattern on those bad boys
5x4-3/4
This guy is a nut! Why won't he sell it?
We all go a little nuts sometimes
The mpg definitely is not that bad I was able to drive from htx to Austin on a full tank and still had half a tank no lie
Any tips on cutting hood for blower? I have a 72 camaro big block 8-71. Steel hood. Thanks
Looking good Kevin, how ya like takin those fatties off without pulling shocks and roll links…
Makes life a whole lot easier!
The A pillars are super wide on these cars. They can hide an entire pedestrian standing at a street corner. At least the fuel pumps don't fail like they do on the Challengers
Amazing video thanks for sharing!
Watched your video, gave it a like! Have you had any experience putting in header exhaust on these tri-fives? If so, what brand have you used?
I have. I’ve used hedman shorty headers. They fit perfect.
To be honest, I don’t know what you’re complaining about. I mean you did test drive the vehicle also I am 66 in height. I have no issues reaching the door second yes, the windshield is narrow. Put doesn’t mean I pull up all the way to the line so that way, I can’t see the light Third gas mileage, depending on what state you live on if you live in California/New York, see what you’re complaining about but if you don’t live in those states then gas mileage is not really a big deal fourth your trunk space OK what’s your point? Are you trying to hold two bodies using your trunk or something because I can care less upon my trunk I got my Camaro for the performance. It’s a 6.2 L LS three if you don’t want your car, go sell it go get a minivan where you have enough trunk space enough mileage, and everything else just without the power and you can be a soccer mom.
Wow, you wrote a big story. You should have probably read my pinned comment before committing to this essay.
Perfect video for what I needed bro 👌
Where can I get those rims from? And what are they called?
They are MRR M228. You can get them online. Google them.
Hello, Currently in the middle of a 454/2004r install in a 57 3100. Factory bellhousing crossmember. I see yours is still in place. So auto trans clears? Room for pan removal, filter change? Just wondering if it should be removed or not?
Yeah, everything clears no problem.
@@bigblockkev Thank you. "Trying" to keep it simple/stock-ish. Don't want to remove if I don't have to.
@@bigblockkev Thank you. "Trying" to keep it simple/stock-ish. Don't want to remove if I don't have to.
lol $6 a gallon?! where are you in cali?
Bay area. At the time this video was made, gas was over $6 a gallon.
How did the decals hold up with the brake heat?
Still looking good after 3+ years.
Youre not buying a camaro for good mpg😅 i mean c'mon lol😅 if you want good gas mileage buy a honda
just installed mine today aswell on my 68 looks the same except i got greasse on my hub lol
Hey bro. Glad to see you making videos again! - Abdul
Hell yeah, brother. Keep up the good work!
How can someone get the efi injection that you used on the blower applications?
It’s a fully custom setup. The hat is from Enderle, the electronics is a mixture of the Holley sniper and some customs connections made in-house. It’s made to look mechanical but is all electronic.
Where could we get an injection system like this?
Checkout some of my earlier videos on my channel. I have the full install of this EFI.
Beautiful Camaros man.
Thank you sir!
Is 295/35/20 in the front possible?
Late to comment this but please whenever you speak just put the music volume to low, it’s very easy to do when you are editing. Haven’t seen the new videos but good work keep it up 👍🏼
I love my 5th gen SS2, but I admit visibility is an issue, and sometimes it feels like I'm driving a submarine. Im also careful when I park because I can't see over the hood.
I owned a v6 2010 Camaro and now own a 2011 ss LS3 car, and they're both amazing. Love, love Camaros! Sorry to disappoint you, Cosentino Garage lol 😄
how's the truck coming. any new video's? What intake are you guys using. im wanting to run a thermostat also!
The truck will be back on the channel very soon. A bunch of upgrades happened. As for the intake, I am running the Weiand blower intake. It allows a thermostat to mounted in front, just below the blower snout.
The top reason being to save more for me
14 1LE for life .white 1SS no frills only Bose stereo option. 1 Of 600 or so made that way. Stage 2 cam kit, all the bolt ons, SLP loudmouth 2 mufflers. BMR subframe and cross member , rear diff bushings, PS4S tires, high volume oil pump, Timekin timing set 3 bolt. Trunnion upgrade kit. It now dam near bulletproof now. I’m keeping mine. 5 th gens look better than the Darth Vader 6 gen’s anyhow. Figured I’d go 416 stroker when the motor finally goes , but it may never happen because it’s a great car weirdo!
What’s crazy is I just found out the v8 and v6 mph is actually similar lol. But the paying of gas the difference fr
Should you prime it after sanding it..
As long as there is no bare metal showing, no need to prime it when wrapping.
@@bigblockkev ah okay good to know thanks!!
Solid black hood maybe the black carbon fiber or carbon fiber black wrap on the roof
As far as the golf clubs being a problem, you can rent clubs and cart at the golf coarse. Especially if your a crummy golfer, that can't manage to put a bag of clubs in the trunk of a Camero. lol
If you want more trunk space, just pull the back seat down. As far as the door being open to get in and out of the car, it has 3 stops for how much you want the door open. Love my Camero!
I'm 6'2" and have no problems with my 2010 RS 219 cu.in. "3.6" motor. It's a blast to drive! It runs great, 24.8 miles to the gallon on freeways. I love my Camero! If I chose between a girl and my Camero, I would marry my Camero. Why you ask? It's a chick magnet. I'm serious!
SIMPLE SOLUTION: If you want more head room and a softer suspension, then buy a Mustang. Those that buy Cameros, want performance above all else. Nobody buys a Pony-Car class vehicle for fuel economy. That being said, the MPG is still pretty amazing, when compared to older V8s. Seems like this video is aimed at WNBA players. Lol! If he can't barely figure out how to put golf clubs in the truck, then installing that cold air intake must have been the task of his lifetime! LMMFAO
You need to relax.
@@bigblockkev LMMFAO! Bruh, you put yourself out there with a video that's full of silly talking points (unless it's aimed at WNBA players)...
Will the Vinyl stick well without the coat ??
It stuck very well.
Good thing gas price in Texas is 2.40 a gallon and Texas is known for modded vehicles and trucks I’m getting my Camaro debating what year
Really stupid video that I didn't watch
You are supporting me and not even knowing it. Thanks bud.
How much fuel pressure is required in this system?
60 lbs.
@@bigblockkev yeah so does the Fitech dual quad power adder system. I ran the 2 throttle bodies with a single fuel line up the back of the blower. Just one clean line. The filter returns the fuel and regulates at 60psi. I mounted it back by the tank. So just a single feed line. Some one went to a lot of trouble to shave the firewall so I kept it clean and mounted nothing to it. I like the hat....I may have to use one on a future build.
Good results, looks way better at Low Cost......good job and info.....
Lasted 2 minutes, but I could not take the talking in circles any longer. Nothing to learn here.
Thank you for the 2 minutes.
Love the look of the wheels and tires. Thinking about purchasing these (gun metal version) rims for my 2010 inferno orange camaro. What was the exact version of the Michelin Pilot Sport tires you purchased? I saw the size, just curious what Pilot Sports u went with.
Went with pilot sport 4s. They didn’t last long tho. Soft compound. Rears lasted me about 8 months. Daily driven.
I'm considering Nittos . It is garage kept with only 49,000 miles. Mine is about 500 hp to the wheels and about 500 torque as well. Drive it maybe once a week. Thanks for the feedback.
Cant even afford one but I gotchu bro😂
I’ve had my ‘15 2SS for about 2 years now, love it. Stock apart from a cold air intake but saving money for a nice exhaust. Barely cracked 36k miles on it too
all of those reasons come from "karens" none of your reasons will discourage me from buying it
