    I am going to this park since I was 4 years old I've been there hundreds of times and I can't tell you enough how good the atmosphere is over there. The employees have won the diamonds awards almost every for the best employee of the Benelux, all the nature and animals have such a lovely feeling and the theme is just great not to little not to much. I love Compagnie des Alpes for what they have done with Bellewaerde. And they just keep investing, you have to come once when it's halloween it's just so well themed and have great haunted houses. And next year they are investing 12 million euros on a new waterside to replace the keverbaan😢 wich is the oldest rollercoaster of Belgium and my first credit. Great video!

      That water slide will be a great addition.

    My dad used to be the design manager of Six Flags Europe and everything that can after SF. He started as part of the decoration team for only Bellewaerde, but because he can draw and design really well he became the head of the decoration team. The first ride he did was Los Piratas that later got replaced with Huracan, which also was his last ride he did for the park. After he became head of decoration in Bellewaerde, he became head of decoration for the whole walibi group. And later Design Manager for SF.
    In Bellewaerde he was most proud of Los Piratas, Camp Niagara and the wooden bridge in the jungle. Because that were the only things built completely to the design with no cuts. And that almost never happens. For those who can remember Los Piratas, there were paintings in the waiting line of Pirates and ships and so forth, He painted them all by hand. They were actual pieces of unique art, nothing was copied.
    Because he worked there I could go there for free and to all the other parks in the group. I even could take up to 10 friends with me all for free. I also did a holiday job there in one off the restaurants. Long time ago...
    It's a nice park with lots of personal memory's for me. Also sad to see de Keverbaan go...

      That's really cool. I can definitely see the level of detail in those spots.

      @@CanobieCoaster yeah, but it's getting old. Everything needs a fresh lick off paint. Glad to see CDA do some nice upgrades to the park in the future.

    This looks like the ideas of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom taken to the extreme in terms of theming. It looks pretty great.

    I think it's pretty nice. Nothing exciting but I'd go there because of the animals and the rides look good enough to be worth your time there.

    I would have a fun time here, it's like a mini BGT. Wouldn't need more than a day but still a fun place for rides and if you're one of those people, animals.

    Bellewaerde is one of 2 parks in Belgium where I haven't been to. I am mostly a coaster enthusiast and neither Bellewaerde nor Plopsa Coo are good in that area. It looks like a charming park.

    The Keverbaan is getting removed after this season. Should have ridden it mate.

      I've ridden clones of it elsewhere.

    I actually got the chance to ride the keverbaan but I am never going back on again. I think its quite an old style kiddie coaster and the carts are built that way. The turns are forceful and the carts are so tiny that you ram into the side of the cart with the middle of the side of your torso. Wouldn't recommend. I also got the chance to ride the topple tower so that's pretty cool.

      I know those Zierer tivoli cars can be cramped.

    Thanks for the review. I’m hoping to get to the park this summer, but the wait times you report are daunting. Did you visit on a weekend?

      Yes, but the times I saw leading up to my visit were just as bad on weekdays. Check out Queue Times.

    Mike: The final coaster is Keverbaan. I skipped this junior coaster due to crowds...
    Me: Well, I don't want to make you feel alarmed, but next time you're Bellewaerde, get this credit by 11/6/2022 or earlier! After that, Keverbaan will go defunct and become the first defunct coaster in Bellewaerde history!

      While I may never ride it, it's a clone.

    Because of the lack of coasters i never really liked this park all that much. I'd say the best parks in Belgium are Walibi and Plopsaland

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I preferred Plopsaland. Couldn't get to Walibi with the flooding.

  • @gilderudder007
    @gilderudder007 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    you need to go to Walibi Belgium

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was the plan until the flood happened.

      The theming and atmosphere are its strengths.
