Nice little theme park Shawn and Charlotte. The Boomerang coaster reminds me of the former named “Missile” one at Pleasurewood Hills in Suffolk. Hurican great dark ride coaster. Some nice flat rides too. You got quite wet Shawn on the log flume.
This is an interesting park like the others, really at some point would love to visit these parks as they do have epic rides & coasters. Yeah agreed, need a new dark ride or coaster here, not sure what? But defo need something bigger here, love the train here. Wish & hope it stays with expansion to another enclosure? Or if not it circles in Lion enclosure & turns back round and heads back to station? Think with inside coaster, when outside could do with theming around roof? Looks out of place up there, needs theming that fits with area aswell storyline of the ride. Otherwise doesn't make sense, just is bare. Love the thrill family coaster at the beginning, would love to see something like that at Chessington WOA in future? Think would be a good addition, but for now Jumanji Mandrill Mayhem takes the excitement slot. Be a good coaster addition there or another UK Park if considered? But well see for future if one is built? But nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more in future. 😀👍
Lots of RCT3 and Planet Coaster rides here. Interesting to find out that the first or second Boomerang was a Vekoma, previous to the one I thought was, Titan, in Brisbane for World Expo 88, but it turns out that was an Arrow Dynamics build, and still operates to this day in India! The other so-called prototype rides I recall there in Brisbane 1988 was a break-dance ride and a Tri-Storm (as called in Planet Coaster). Both were so awesome which is why I still hold fond memories of to this day.
Hi shawn and Charlotte looks like a nice park. With future investment it will be even better. Enjoying your trip you both have so much fun . Living the dream thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Great vlog, love seeing the vlogs from other parks all around the world to see how different and unique they are. It amazes me how many Theme Parks there are in the world and how they are have their differences and none are the same, would love to get out to europe and so some parcs there.
Visited the park today. Sadly the new coaster Amazonia was closed due to maintance and tweaking. It just screams out fun! Wakala is a pretty nice ride.
I’m going to Walibi Belgium next week and your vids are getting me totally hyped up. Especially with my first time riding Kondaa, it’s gonna be my second time at the park. I’m wondering how good Kondaa will be 🙌
Shawn and Charlotte, I love the theming and the diversity of the rides in this park. Not the intensity but kind of middle ground which appeals to all. What do you think, Charlotte:) On a warm day, in full bloom, this is surely a place to relax with friends and family Shawn, It is underrated, but its done so well. There's nothing like Europe's parks in the States, especially out here in the Northwest(sigh). Cheers, Rik Spector
The theming on some of the rides look amazing and those baby goats looked adorable. I also felt bad for Charlotte when you guys were on the rapids. Hope you guys had a nice time!
With Halloween, Boomerang has already been given a different name in the past. Eg. El Bumeran de los Muertos. The themed area is also a nice nod to where the first built Boomerang is located. Nice vlog again.
Great vlog, that rapid rise looked very unique and seeing log flumes makes me miss the flume ride at Alton towers all the time, has Thorpe park got a log flume?
Huracan is probably my favourite coaster that I’ve ridden (admittedly, because I haven’t gone to as many parks as I’ve wanted to since becoming interested in theme parks)
That boat ride reminds me of Tom sawyers in BP. That might be before your time but I think the loading wheel is still somewhere on the park. Or it might not be now. It was back in 2016 as I showed my daughter. BP needs old tom back. X
Omg I work there as an operator. I was hoping to see you guys :( I guess I missed you that day. As zn operator on 'hampi' I must say that we're there with 2 operators, but when we have lunch there is 1 operator taking it over for 30 minutes. We're also testing it with 1 operator on calm days... so it's still testing a lot ,but great that you liked it! I hope I"ll see you one time ❤
Hearing you guys singing Decca dance........it sounds almost identical to SAFETY DANCE by MEN WITHOUT HATS I'm wondering if it uses the same or similar theme 🤣🤣🤣
It sure is a lovely park! I go there everytime I go to Belgium! I agree Charlotte Cheese is good on pasta,I love cheese it's my favourite snack at the moment! What was your favourite ride there? Mines the Boomerang!
Bellewaerde used to be my favorite park at the time. Certainly Halloween in Bellewaerde was my first experience with a Halloween horror experience in 2001. For many years I was almost obsessed with Halloween in Bellewaerde. The atmosphere was phenomenal. But the animals are now placed in a tiny aviary that I no longer want to go to this park because of animal cruelty. The leopard in an aviary was the last straw. I'm a theme park fanatic, but also an animal lover. And when it comes to the theme park/animal park combo, I've seen some really horrible things. Schwaben park was the worst. There, there were tigers and apes in cages smaller than a doghouse. But they do have good rides. That's why I don't like the combo at all.
10 years ago, it would seem Bellwarde and Walibi Rhone-Alps were probably some of the most neglected parks in the CDA chain. Now Parc Asterix is obviously the flagship since its a true theme park, then the Walibi Parks and Bellewarede, Jardin d'acalmentation and FamilyPark in Austria, then the two more experience parks (Futuroscope and France Miniature-which only has one kids coaster). They should acquire La Ronde lol
Of the core 5 outside Parc Asterix, I think the weakest is only one I've been to-Walibi Rhone-Alps as their guided outdoor boat ride, Tam-Tam Adventure, had its interactive components ripped off at some point (likely due to COVID) and it was all overgrown and the effects were barely working-their rapids could use some theming too in the woods but it looks to be hard to get to that area so I can see why they didn't "finish". Once their Exotic Land project is finished, it could take over Bellwarde simply on its coaster collections
@@history_leisure yeah I know they owned them but still the location around Metz can be so good... if they invest in that place, get new rides in I think Walygator can grow ALOT
I think maybe a package like what Tripsdrill got and now Emerald Park will get next year would be a good fit for Bellewaerde, although maybe a Free Spin could also work as I think, like Dawson Duel it doesn't exclude the older kids in a larger, mixed family group while still being more family friendly. If they can, at least seem to, keep local teens coming to them, its still a win
Finally, some restaurant offering pasta without cheese on it. Maybe, some start to understand that there are a lot of people who are lactose intollerant.
Excellent video Shawn and Charlotte from Bellewaerde Park in Belgium! In this vlog, we experience everything that this awesome theme park has to offer along with sharing on ride povs from all of the major rides. This includes Wakala, Huracan, and Boomerang, along with checking out the two new rides for 2023. We also take a look at the construction site for the new spinning rapids to ride opening at the park in 2024! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Shawn and Charlotte. 😀🥰😍
@@ThemeParkWorldwide I have ridden it multiple times and it was very strong for the size park it was back in the days. I was super surprised by the level of detail, animatronics and physical sets for a high detailed ride in a park that did not get a lot of budget.
Wow they should not have wild animals there. The lions look so sad in that cold mud. Not the right environment. I doubt they care for them properly. Smh
The animal enclosures didn't look very well looked after, very muddy and very little greenery. Most of the park looked like it needed a good clean, deffo not a park I would visit.
This park is responsible for igniting my love of theme parks as a kid. 🖤
For me it is the vampire at chessington
For me it’s flight of the pterosaur at Paultons Park
That’s great!
@@themeparkegghead5512 yea I went on it for the first time yesterday
How was it
Thanks for this🌹 like you 2👍

Love the little baby goats jumping about! Was disappointed Charlotte didn't start singing "Goats wearing Coats"
Great little park excited for more vlogs
More on the way!
Two of them baby goats had trousers on 😂 xxx
I found it funny when Charlotte screamed on the ride at 18:19. 18:47. 19:29. 19:30. 19:43
Keep on riding ❤
Always! 🎢
Never heard of this park!! im excited to discover it in the video!
You know the Vekoma Boomerang coaster ... This park got the first one and is still operating.

I love the way how you tell us which category a coaster falls into
the area around bellewaerde is perfect for some sanbrooke adventures vlogs, knowing you love your history and being from the UK.

It was so awesome to see and ride a real Topple-Tower for the first time, instead of just in Planet Coaster (or RCT3?). Thank you so much!

I noticed that too. I think he doesn't like them on big thrill rides, but does on family coasters.
