brother dayum, found your review on steam, saw the link, clicked it, didnt expect much but the fast paced though still informative review really hooked me just now got into planet crafter with a friend where we still have a lot of content ahead of us after playing for about 6 hours straight, however ill be keeping eden crafter on my watchlist also earned a new sub, keep at it
Awesome thanks so much! I can't wait to see you at future content! And yeah good or you. My wife and I loved planet crafter and now we're stuck in this one lol. Continue to enjoy! :)
I always look forward to these reviews. They are honest, accurate, and entertaining. Great job showing us the game as you describe it. With some exposure, this channel should explode. :)
lol I really hope so and I'm super appreciative. I'd also really appreciate any help. So please visit my videos and like and comment on them. It helps with engagement which helps me be seen. :) Thanks again
You're not very smart, are you? I tried this game a few months ago, and it took me about 5 minutes to see that it was a very low quality game. And now this TH-camr compares it to Planet Crafter and Satisfactory? You're both joking, right?
@@marctheriault5531 Then I challenge you to explain to me how it's NOT like those two games. Explain to me how it's low quality? If you're not a troll we shall have a friendly debate! If you are a troll you'll disappear into irrelevance or you'll insult, rage and be disrespectful. Balls in your court now ^.^
@@miah_the_king I'm not a troll, but it would be hard for me to explain to you why you can't compare this game to Planet Crafter or Satisfactory since I played this game for less than half an hour (I have more than 200 hours clocked for each of Planet Crafter and Satisfactory). I'm not into insults either, but I must admit it's very hard for me to understand how you can't see the difference in quality between this game and the two others. It reminds me of how people can judge that Ernest Hemingway is the best American author, when he is actually a rather lousy writer (but The Old Man and the Sea is quite an interesting story, albeit badly written. If you don't believe me, compare the movie with the book: the movie director avoided all the mistakes of the book. It's as if Hemingway was drunk when he wrote the book, but people are blinded by his reputation.) In all due respect, what makes you blind about this lousy game?
@@marctheriault5531 I'm not saying that I can't see the differences. There are obviously a lot of differences. For instance you can dig and shape the ground around you in this game but not in the others. And tbf I feel you're looking too deeply into my comment. I simply meant how similar the games are when looking at gameplay mechanics, gameplay flow, gameplay design, idea, possibilities and so on. I'm not talking technically specific or in-depth, more broad.
Thanks so much! I can't wait to see you at future content! Make sure to comment on future videos so I can remember you and respond lol. Also, hope you enjoy it :P
I finished both Satisfactory (350 hours) and Planet Crafter (50 hours), and i really enjoyed them. And i think graphics of this game isn't that bad. I mean it is definitely worse than Satisfactory, but it looks just as good as The Planet Crafter. If graphics are your concern, just buy it, it is not bad. UI is i a bit tricky tho, you are definitely right about it :D
(sorry if I accidentally said something wrong or bad. I used google translate :P)
@@miah_the_king its correct. i saw your review in steam page. i hope your channel thrives. God Bless. im from Brazil. i like to force americans to swallow a bit of portuguese. kk. sorry.

I have this on my watch list and will follow the development to see how this goes. I like the concept of it being a cross of Planet Crafter and Satisfactory, the project is pretty ambitious so I am a little concerned that this may get abandoned by the devs or if there isn't a lot of budget for the development. I still have Satisfactory sitting in my library for ages that I never go around to play and I still haven't finished Planet Crafter. Kept restarting that after every major update in EA lol. The graphics definitely need work as that is one of the big factors that can get them more funding in EA if they update that. I won't call it a safe investment yet but if you do like the concept then go ahead and support em.
Yep, agree on the graphics part. For planet crafter it feels that the graphics for the buildables and items, menus, were consistent. Here it feels like it is a Satisfactory in pre-alpha state, and UI feels really basic so overall you think that is a little bit raw. Nevertheless gameplay foundation is there. I hope that devs will upgrade those assets a little bit more.
May I ask for the PC specs that were used here? Around 40 FPS doesn't seem very performant to me. At least when you consider that you see no vegetation and few buildings at the beginning.
My apologies but I don't like to share my specs online. But what I can offer is that my game runs better looking games at higher FPS. I hope you take my word for it. Go check out my review of Black Myth Wukong. I didn't adjust graphics there. At least I don't thinks so lol. But I believe the 40 FPS was due to the game, not my pc. Hope that helps.
@@MrBadgerken yeah it actually so far has less then satisfactory. No animals or quests/rewards or anything. But it does have terraforming which I don’t think satisfactory has. Things like curing water, changing O2 and stuff like thst
To be honest, I find extremely disgusting how they just unashamedly copied Satisfactory and Planet Crafters, to the point that the graphics are almost identical, if not identical in some instances I've seen. And I also find ironic how Nintendo has sued Palworld devs over a SINGLE game mechanic, yet these guys seem they'll get away with this flagrant copy+paste. Won't buy. Hell, won't even pirate. But I'll subscribe. 😛
lol well thanks so much for the subscribe! I hope i'll see you at future content. Make sure to comment so I remember you lol. And yeah I always feel a little embarrassed for some games when I see them being so similar to other games. But technically as long as they're not stealing anything other then mechanics, it's not against the law.

One of the other things Eden Crafters has going for it is the ability to dig into the ground. you can flatten terrain.
Yeah the ability to dig out ground or fill in ground is a bit buggy but it's still a great idea.

I agree with everything you said. It's still early access so there's still hope lol.
This looks intersting will ad it to my wishlist but i will not buy it in EA.
I will test the demo if i have time
That's a smart move. Hope you enjoy it. But sometimes the demos can be better then the games themselves. Please be cautious. :)
Just worried that my computer is to old to run it.
let's hope not lol
