    Alter B was cut because I thought it evolved off of purple but it evolves off of black instead. I am color blind lol

    How does only having 3 XT feel? Doesbit slow down the engine or feel like you're missing the 4th.

    • @TCGTamer
      @TCGTamer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly the 4th felt clunky. The thing about XT, is that it's only really good if you already have some amount of setup. 3 felt really comfortable because of that

      @@TCGTamer hia um so im kinda new to the game and im not very good with technical decks but unfortunately my lgs is full of control or "if you attack you suffer instead of me" and its making it really hard to get into the game as it just feels way too competitive and i just want to have a good time playing with my mons.... is there any decks i can play that con cope with constant answers and dont have to attack to win but are still fun.... coz right now im at a loss as to how its possible to win at all and i feel confused coz if i need to attack to win...but everything they do means i cant attack then what am i supposed to do? it just makes me feel like digimon isnt as beginner friendly as it was described to me as...

      @@zamorvex it depends what you mean by "beginner friendly". It's still a really easy game to get into and you can have fun playing random decks against buddies, but trying to take random builds up against competitive people at an lgs isn't gonna work too often without some work and meta calls.
      can you give some examples of what control decks you're playing against? And/or what cards they're using? How to counter it will depend on what you're facing, and how often/varied the field is. Some general thoughts though:
      - Play something red and use a 1-3 A Delicate Plan so that when you attack security it doesn't activate options. Some archetypes that could use that are Red Hybrid, WarGreymon/BlackWarGreymon or their X Antibody variants, Shoutmon (xross heart), Gammamon, etc. Some of those are gonna be better than others depending on your meta and how you build them
      - Red Hybrid might be a good initial bet if you take the security check + one that uses AncientGreymon. You can attack on the board, but you can just build a giant stack in raising where they can't touch it, and then when you're ready move it out, use A Delicate Plan to turn off options, and kill all their security in one blow
      - You could also just tack the AncientGreymon and A Delicate Plan into a Greymon X Antibody deck
      - there's the BT11 Yuuya Kuga for Greymon decks where, when you digivolve into an X Antibody of the same level you can suspend him to make that digimon not affected by option cards until the end of your opponent's next turn.
      - Machinedramon lists have ways to stop DP reduction, and ways to prevent deletion as well
      - Decks that utilize the "save" mechanic like xross heart, hunters, and bagra army can let you reuse stuff that gets deleted and have that help you instead of hurt you
      - could play an older Beelstarmon list and include extra rush digimon so that you can just repeatedly bring back rush digimon from the trash with 3x Nail Bones in combination with your BeelStarmons
      If you don't want to attack you could make some kind of mill deck, but I don't know how good those are. Beyond that it's hard to say unless we know what cards you're facing, but that's a start :)

    Giz as in gizmo. Killing me with that pronunciation, brother.

    • @Shikageru
      @Shikageru ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So why no blue package? Also running both the impmon package for mill and the scatter/giz package for controlled draw/discard feels off. I almost want to sneak in 2 of the tamer and 2-2 belphe and run this as a mini belph deck with beelstar for more board breaking and security bombs. Plus the bt6 imp can get back a belph if you need it I think.

      @@Shikageru that sounds really cool, but that also sounds like you could get some really bricky hands sometimes. Idk, I think it's definitely something I need to test. I wish I had room for the blue package, but idk if it's necessary this format. Bouncing only really adds value against alphamon right now, I feel.

      Alter B is there to dedigivolve cards that have protection or are hard to remove. The main one being Chaosdramon X antibody
