There is NO way that a setting wasn't adjusted for this fight... we have tried for hours and when he hits us he's hitting for 500-1000 and you were taking 200? with worse gear lol, we are using full flint winter steel legendary sets, I would like to see a screenshot of your server settings for "creature damage"
There is no worse gear, this is prolly the fang set wich gives blunt damage reduction, I'm using the same and the amount of damage taken is the same. Whats the downside on flint armor? Let me guess blunt damage?

Agreed, we used the same armor, and had even more buffs (chilis) and we just get perma froze.

Sounds like a Skill issue to me.
I guess the hardest part about this boss is the reset lol 😅 this is my next boss and i hope I'll have an easy time.
Yeah it was annoying. Reset on me like 7 times in a row. But I got him trained. He now stays 🤭
