Just had a thought 🤔 You should let your subscribers know about the Discovery Pass in Oregon and Washington. Its $35 bucks a year and grants you access and camping in all national forests ran by the BLM. I think the one that covers Washington, Oregon, and California is only like $60 but just guessing on that one so dont quote me haha In 2019 I spent all spring, summer, and fall bouncing around from campsite to campsite every week or so. Literally got what most would experience as a lifetime of camping in one season.
That’s awesome! Yes, I should… I’m going to start covering a lot of the campgrounds here in Oregon, doing reviews on them. That’s cool about the Discovery Pass, I will for sure add that kind of stuff.
YYYAAASSS!!! NEW CAMPING GUY!!! 🤠 Great video brother! Such a beautiful sunny spring in Oregon! I kind of seems to me in the past year that Oregon has taken over Nor-Cal weather and Washington grabbed Oregons haha So much sun the past few years in the the PNW. So happy you guys had such a great time!
Thanks man… It was perfect camping weather! But the summers have been amazing… 85-90 in July and August and sunny for 5-6 months straight… that’s why I moved here! I am not a hot weather person or a cold weather one! Haha I love the winters here too, it rarely gets close to freezing, always get a few days of snow, mostly cold rain. We’ve got the cool, wet winters; and warm sunny summers… the Willamette Valley is what everyone comes for… plus you can’t beat the views: in some places you can see 3 giant, snow covered volcanoes at the same time; and the beautiful Oregon coast just an hour away!
I've just found your channel and really enjoy hearing what you talk about, especially your camping tips. As a solo camper in the UK, I love car camping with my dog..being in nature away from crowds and tourists...thank you.
To even think that you are in a nothing but a lomg sleeve shirt camping mid-March in Oregon is mind blowing!! You're right on time my friend!
It was just those four days of really nice weather… 40’s and 50’s the rest of the time with rain. :) lol
Dog good info.
