Watch Military Horses Bolt Through London Again After Losing Riders

- This is the moment three runaway military horses bolted through central London after losing their riders, earlier today.
According to the Ministry of Defence (MoD), three horses from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment broke loose from their riders during morning exercises.
The lead horse, which was being led rather than ridden, was startled by a bus and bolted, causing two riders to fall to the ground.
Their horses then fled as well.
The MoD confirmed that all horses were safely collected and returned to Hyde Park Barracks by 9:55 am.
The incident comes just months after shocking images surfaced in April, showing several horses breaking loose and running through London.
One horse was covered in blood after colliding with a taxi, while another animal smashed the windscreen of a tour bus.

Scandalous😮 and obviously needs to be addressed. This is 😮 an indication of some incompetence that is screeching to be addressed. Speedily before a other horse is wounded or God forbid an innocent bystander.

Second incident this year! Why can they SUDDENLY not control their "bombproof" horses? Either get it together or fold the cavalry, because it's not fair on the horses and it's not SAFE for pedestrians.

What is going on in this country? Late Elizabeth inspected the stables for the household cavalry everyday.. It wouldn't have happened to her horses on her watch... Where are they even getting these mounted soldiers? The Beeb said two horses "were lost after their riders dismounted" How do you lose control of them from the ground with bits in? Clearly Charles needs to start cracking the whip harder...
This is becoming a common thing as these horses are of the MoD which is alarming; Like there may be something else at play here, "Like Aliens" I think it should be considered (camera city...)

Military horses are probably the best looked after and trained animals in the country second only to police horses.

Animals usually don't run away unless they're being mistreated. And they're likely not trained as well as you want to believe, nor are their handlers, if they just got spooked and took off running like this down the streets

I'm surprised it does not happen more often, i don't know anything about the handlers involved in these particular incidents but you see close calls quite often now in state events on tv where the handler/rider/or carriage handler is a small woman and unable to physically control the horse. In incidents abroad of horse carriages getting out of control the driver has reported to have been a woman. You need smaller horses or bigger women.

There was an article a month or two ago about them being shouted at by soldiers, given dirty water to drink, being in stalls for prolonged periods of time, having rodents in their stalls and having unsafe lighting in them. They definitely don't live a good life!
