Given the great game feel of this and "Toy Story Racer", it makes me wonder how Traveller's Tales bungled up the jeep in "Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex"? It's like going from "Sonic Colours" and "Sonic Generations" to "Sonic Forces", albeit not as bad as that. 😂 Did you cover their Toy Story 2 game, by the way? That game pretty much perfected the collect-a-thon subgenre in 3D platformers the same year "Donkey Kong 64" kind of killed it. Always trust the British to perfect and ruin something great simultaneously. 🤣

I was doing research on racing games to stream a while ago and was kinda shocked to see how many kart racers the PS1 had. There's a lot! I dont particularly care for them myself, but I'm gonna have to acquire a physical copy of this for the box art alone.
Kermit and Miss Piggy are playable characters in Disney Speedstorm. Well, Miss Piggy is technically not in the game yet, but she's supposed to be later this month. I can't wait. Disney Speedstorm marks their second time being in a kart racer.
@Steadysphere Yeah, I do wish it was just a regular priced game instead of being free to play. Outside of that, the gameplay in that game is really great.
Oh, wow. I will admit that I wrote this off back when it came out - partially because it was a licensed racer and partially because I was just finishing high school so I was "too cool" for muppets. I think I need to go back to this one, though! Also, it's kinda mind-blowing that TT's prior racing effort to this was Sonic R Also also, you can really see the DNA for the later Lego games in the stunt races, huh?
To be fair, most of the critics at the time wrote it off too, but there's a lot to like here! That is crazy to think about. And yes indeed, collect all the stuff! Even getting hidden characters haha.
