This game... There is SO MUCH I could say about this game. I'm glad it got the score that it did. I didn't know that it didn't get a PAL release, though! That is criminal! Also, I saw that you not only gave the EX mode a shoutout, but that you attempted the Chrysler Building (I recognized the clips well before you mentioned it). That part of the game is very much for the dedicated.
Always been intrigued by this one. I was put off by the first one not getting a PAL release but now I have the region free PS2, its time to add it to the list. Another great review.
Enjoy what I played briefly of this back around it's release, though it was via a CDR at a friend's, you e completely sold me on bumping this up the must play list
Such a neat concept, Square Enix was great during the PS1 generation of consoles. It would be cool to see a remake similar to RE1 Remake or RE2 2019. Parasite Eve 2 goes for a more traditional RE gameplay design. And the 3rd Birthday is very polarizing. I'd like to see both Parasite Eve PS1 games remastered for PS4/PS5 with trophies. Same for Dino Crisis 1&2. Btw, ever played, Hellnight, for PS1? Atlus made their own horror game back then. We never got it in the US though. It was only released in Japan and a limited Pal release too.
I've always bypassed the first game for the second one even though I could never get into the 2nd game being honest. This actually looks different and maybe something more I'd enjoy! Great work as always 👌
That's fair enough, considering we never got an official release over here. It's one of those series where every game is completely different, bit like Dino Crisis. If you like JRPGs with unique systems and styles, I definitely think this is well worth a go! Thanks buddy and thank you for watching 😁
Squaresoft had a rather good spell around then, didn't they? 😃 Great vid mate, definitely makes me want to return to it, always enjoyed the series' settings and atmosphere, and Aya is a fantastic character 😀
It's amazing comparing them to now. Even less successful games, like Saga Frontier, still had way more thought and care than now. Cheers bud! Get on it mate :D

Yep, one of many us PAL pals didn't see :/
I did! I even beat the boss on top. Wasn't easy but very satisfying
The illustrious 10/10! 👀
😁it's pretty amazing!

Still such a shame we never got this over here. I highly recommend it mate!
Great review of a truly remarkable game mate and watching this makes me want to replay it. I still can’t believe it was never released on our shores.
Thank you mate! I'm still gutted how many Squaresoft games never came out here.

Square were on a roll during the ps1. Wish more of their games came to Europe!
I have not, like many ps1 horror games, it's super rare!
